The comedian, who is engaged to Katy Perry added, "It would weed a lot of them out. I don't think Justin Bieber could handle Syd Barrett from Pink Floyd's habit. A lot of people in their journey to rehab overdose, and then, perhaps, we could be spared their awful music. It's Darwinian. It's the law of natural selection." Brand himself has battled drug addiction in the past and credited Perry in helping him to see clearer sight.

Hilary Duff Would Love to Be Judge of 'X Factor'

Hilary Duff is refusing to deny reports she has been offered a judging role on Simon Cowell's "The X Factor", but insists she'd love to team up with the music mogul when he launches the U.S. reality show. Cowell is quitting American Idol next month so he can concentrate on bringing his hit British talent show to the U.S. - and pop star/actress Duff has been among the names mentioned as possible panelists.

In a taped interview, which will air on Friday, April 16's Ellen DeGeneres show, the "So Yesterday" singer admits she's heard the rumors about her taking on a judging role and reveals she up for the challenge. Duff says, "I would totally do it."

Singer Kelly Rowland reportedly flew into a rage following a flight Down Under on Thursday, April 15, berating the Australian cabin crew for treating her entourage like "five-year-old kids". The former Destiny's Child star jetted from Melbourne to Sydney for a gig at the city's Acer Arena, but was reportedly unhappy with the staff onboard the Qantas flight.

According to News.com.au, Rowland ranted at flight assistants after disembarking the plane, accusing hem of being "rude". She allegedly told reporters, "I found the flight attendants really s**tty. I don't know why. You tell me."

Kate Hudson may have decided to make her body look curvier by undergoing a breast surgery. The actress, who has naturally small boobs, was seen noticeably fuller on top when she was spotted on the pool side in Miami on April 9, Us Magazine has claimed.

A source says Hudson has had a plastic surgeon performing a small breast augmentation on her in late March. Though the "Nine" star often makes jokes about her boobs, another source reveals that the mother of 6-year-old Ryder has always felt insecure about her chest. Her representative has not responded to request for comment regarding the issue.

Natalie Mejia Pleads Not Guilty to Drugs Charge

Girlicious singer Natalie Mejia has pleaded not guilty to a drugs charge stemming from her arrest last month. The singer, who shot to fame after appearing in The Pussycat Dolls reality show Girlicious, was pulled over for speeding and later arrested after cops searched the car and allegedly found a dozen bags of cocaine in her handbag.

Natalie Mejia insisted she had no idea how the drugs had made their way into her purse. She was charged with drug possession with intent to sell. And she maintained her innocence in court on Thursday, April 15, when she entered a not guilty plea.

Kiefer Sutherland was forced into a car by bouncers at a strip club in London in the early hours of Friday, April 16 morning after stumbling onto the street drunk and shirtless. The "24" actor began a boozy night in the British capital with drinks with pals at his hotel before heading to the city's notorious exotic dance venue Stringfellows.

According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, an inebriated Sutherland was dancing erratically and shouting before getting into a scuffle with staff when they asked him to leave. The shirtless star was photographed being hauled out of the venue by doormen, who dragged him from the club and pushed him into a waiting vehicle - only for the star to escape the car and take a tumble on the street.

Hanson have some fun in a music video debuted to support their new single "Thinking 'Bout Somethin' ". Taylor Hanson sits behind a piano, while Isaac Hanson who is in formal suit and Zac Hanson who rocks a leather jacket and sneaker are showing off some dance moves.

The video is directed by Todd Edwards and was filmed at Greenwood Avenue in their home town of Tulsa. It recreates scene from classic comedy musical "The Blues Brothers" in which their music causes a spontaneous outburst of dancing on the streets.

Penelope Cruz was initially negotiating for the part, but she eventually dropped it allegedly to star opposite Johnny Depp in "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides". There has been no further description on the character that now belongs to Dunst.

'Supernatural' 5.19 Preview: Disturbed Hotel

"What's a four-star hotel doing in a no-star highway?" Sam asks, longing to find the answer. In the next "Supernatural", Sam and Dean are kidnapped by a group of gods, including Kali (guest star Rekha Sharma), Ganesh (guest star Keith Dallas) and Bladur (guest star Adam Croasdell) and held hostage in a small hotel.

The gods want to use Sam and Dean as bargaining chips to stop the Apocalypse, but Gabriel (guest star Richard Speight, Jr.) shows up and warns them that if Lucifer finds them he will kill them all. Unfortunately, one of the gods turns on the rest and Lucifer appears. "Hammer of the Gods" airs on April 22.

It has been officially announced that Kris Allen sealed a publishing deal with Universal Music. The deal includes Allen's self-titled album "Kris Allen" as well as future works during the term of the agreement.

'Jonah Hex' May Not Meet the Deadline

It is only two months away from the scheduled release of "Jonah Hex", but none of the preview has been outed by Warner Bros. Pictures except a couple of pictures. Discussing the question of whether the film will be ready or not for June 18 release date, New York Magazine has got information from Brent Hinds who was hired to work on the scores regarding the progress of the movie.

"What I've seen so far doesn't seem to be finished to me. I'd heard a little rumor: 'This s**t ain't gonna be ready'," the guitarist and singer of heavy-metal band Mastodon shared. However, he added, "But then again, Warner Bros. is such a f***ing bastard. They're like, 'The s**t comes out on the day it's supposed to.' But what do I know? I'm just the dude to whom they're like, 'Hey, play some crazy f***in' music!' "

Rapper Jay-Z and his business partner are suing baseball great David Ortiz over the name of his new club in the Dominican Republic. The sportsman has reportedly called his place Forty/Forty - the same name as Jay-Z's sports bars in New York, Las Vegas and Atlantic City, New Jersey.

In a lawsuit filed in Manhattan's federal court on Thursday, April 15, Jay-Z and partner Juan Perez accused the Boston Red Sox star of infringing upon the name of their clubs. The lawsuit states, "David Ortiz is fully aware of plaintiff's Manhattan 40/40 Club, since he had been a patron there on several occasions, long before he opened his infringing Forty/Forty Club."

"We didn't set out to do a musical," executive producer Jeff Pinkner explained. "We set out to do an episode that explored Walter's state of mind - he's dealing with some very upsetting news. When we realized that the way Walter would deal with such news would be to try to anesthetize himself with copious amounts of marijuana, well, singing and dancing became a natural outcome."

Matthew Lewis: 'Deathly Hallows' Is Bloody and Gory

"Harry Potter" fans will need a strong stomach to sit through the next installment of the wizard franchise - the film has been described as "bloody", "gory" and "harrowing" by actor Matthew Lewis. The seventh installment in the series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", has been split into two films, with "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" slated for release in November this year and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II" set to hit cinemas eight months later, July 2011.

Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom in the movies, has revealed the final two films will remain true to J.K. Rowling's final book - even including more adult scenes of death and violence. He tells SnitchSeeker.com, "David (Yates, director) as well as (screenwriter) Steve Kloves haven't shied away from the more severe stuff in it that was in the book. It's bloody and it's gory and it's very real."

David Thewlis Speaks About Anna Friel's Affair Rumor

"Harry Potter" star David Thewlis has spoken out to silence rumors his partner Anna Friel is romancing Joseph Cross, insisting there is "no scandal" because the young actor is a "good friend" to him. The couple's longterm relationship was rocked by allegations of an affair after Friel was photographed embracing Cross, her co-star in a London stage production of Breakfast at Tiffany's, in December.

Friel subsequently denied the claims, but the gossip flared up again earlier this month when it was revealed Cross has been living at the couple's home in Los Angeles. But Thewlis is adamant his relationship with the former Pushing Daisies star is not in trouble.

"Glee" is to air "The Power of Madonna" next week and the woman in subject has broken her silence about being honored in one-hour musical fiesta. Not only is she excited because her songs are used in the episode, Madonna is also proud that they are meant to encourage the girls to step up against the guys.

"I think Mr. Schuester is very cute," Madonna said in reference to Matthew Morrison's character. "And I'm glad he's doing such a good job empowering all the girls." In the episode, Schuester sees that the girls are being disrespected and bullied by the guys. Thus, he challenges the entire team to choose Madonna songs as their next assignment in the hopes that the girls embrace her strength, independence and confidence and that the guys will see the error of their misogynistic ways.

Kristen Stewart graces the cover of Flaunt magazine's April Spring Fashion issue, showing her Gothic and sexy sides. In the black-and-white picture, the young actress is seen donning tight pants matched with an embroidered blouse which is unbuttoned on the chest area.

Called "The Census Issue", the latest edition of the publication will additionally feature the "Twilight" star in a 14-page story. The Stewart-centric section will include both an in-depth interview and 11 new pictures taken by renowned fashion photographer Yu Tsai.

Bret Michaels Released From Hospital

Rocker Bret Michaels has been released from hospital following emergency surgery to remove his appendix on Monday, April 12. The former Poison frontman underwent an emergency appendectomy in a San Antonio, Texas hospital after a scan showed his appendix was ready to burst.

He was kept under doctors' supervision for fear of complications after his temperature fluctuated following the surgery, which is often a sign of infection. But on Wednesday, April 14, medics released him from their care to recuperate at home, according to the San Antonio Business Journal.

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has been named the most inspiring gay icon by a leading U.S. magazine. The star, who is married to actress Portia de Rossi, claimed the top spot in Out's annual Power 50 rundown.

Singer Adam Lambert and "How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris featured in the top ten, claiming fifth and seventh place respectively. Fashion designers Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford were also high in the rundown - at 11 and 13. Moviemaker Lee Daniels was at 25, while comedienne Wanda Sykes featured at 36. Jodie Foster was placed 41st and "Milk" director Gus Van Sant came in at 43.

Pamela Anderson is calling on SeaWorld bosses to close down the amusement parks following the tragic death of a killer whale trainer in Orlando, Florida in February. Dawn Brancheau, 40, was killed by an orca during a show at the city's SeaWorld complex.

Hollywood actor Matt Damon and U.S. showbiz veteran Bob Barker have previously expressed their concerns following the tragedy, urging the venues to be shut down completely. And now animal rights activist Anderson has waded into the debate, insisting the whales should not be kept in captivity.

Larry King and Shawn Southwick in Truce After Filing Divorce

Larry King and Shawn Southwick had two moments of truce on Thursday, April 15, just a day after they filed for divorce from each other. In the morning, the two were photographed looking happy and walking hand in hand while strolling in Los Angeles.

Later that night they were hugging each other at their son's little league baseball game. According to TMZ, Shawn met Larry who was already at the Beverly Hills field. When he saw her approaching him, he walked in her direction. The hugged briefly and began talking. Larry allegedly complimented Shawn's perfume and said, "I remember that smell."
