Shontelle has been hard at work, finishing her second studio album "No Gravity". In anticipation of the album which will be released later this year, she exclusively spilled the beans to AceShowbiz on what kind of sounds she is cooking up for the upcoming release.

She also talked about a possible duet with David Archuleta. Additionally, she discussed two songs which she wrote for the sophomore set, saying that she co-penned one of them with Bruno Mars. As a promotional effort, she stated her camp are currently working on a tour.

"Lost" star Matthew Fox would be no good on a real desert island - he's a poor swimmer who's terrified of water. The actor, who plays heroic Jack Shephard on the hit drama, admits his wife Margherita had to teach him to swim and he still fears the show's water-based scenes.

He explains, "Growing up (in Wyoming) I didn't have the opportunity to spend a lot of time in the water. The water in Wyoming is so f**king cold that we got into the habit of jumping into a river or lake and then just jumping right out."

Rumor has it, Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt have called it quit. The couple, who broke up in June 2009 just to reunite a month later, has reportedly ended their romance for the second time. "Obviously she broke up with him," a source tells E! Online.

The split report comes out after the twosome was seen spending their time separately in the last few weeks. Nicola Roberts has sparked fresh concern British pop stars Girls Aloud will split this year - after confirming none of the singers have spoken to bandmate Nadine Coyle since September 2009. Warner Bros. Pictures has released four new photos from "Inception" consisting of two production images and two on-set pictures. One of the stills captures Joseph Gordon-Levitt in what looks like an upside down space. Meanwhile, the other production photo sees Ken Watanabe holding Lukas Haas with his left hand while he points a gun with his other hand.

The on-set pictures, in the meantime, feature Christopher Nolan. One of them has the helmer/writer/producer observing a tower construction which apparently is built for filming. He is additionally captured alongside lead actor Leonardo DiCaprio in what seems to be a rest room in the other new shot.

Shakira toured the devastated nation of Haiti on Sunday, April 11 - meeting child survivors of January's earthquake while preparing to build a school in the ravaged Caribbean country. The "Hips Don't Lie" superstar met around a hundred youngsters who were left homeless after the massive quake and have been forced to live in tents in the capital city of Port-au-Prince.

Shortly after the disaster, Shakira announced plans to team her Barefoot Foundation with the Architecture for Humanity charity to build a school in the region, which she hopes will mirror the success of an education facility she launched in her native Colombia.

British rap trio N-Dubz were escorted out of a club in Manchester, England at the weekend after a scuffle broke out and band member Dappy was allegedly threatened with a knife. The stars were partying at the city's Coliseum club on Saturday night, April 10 when the rapper left the VIP room to greet fans on the dance floor.

A group of men approached the star while he was signing autographs and posing for pictures, and an argument reportedly erupted. According to Britain's The Sun, one of the gang began pushing and shouting at Dappy, before a knife was allegedly brandished.

A short snippet of Ciara's brand new single "Ride" has been unleashed. Along with the arrival of the preview, official cover art for the song has also been unveiled, featuring Ciara wearing short denims, a cap and thigh high boots.

"Ride" is the first single from the follow-up to Ciara's 2009 "Fantasy Ride". The song comes from the production hands of Christopher "Tricky" Stewart and The-Dream and is expected to get radio airplays sometime soon. The music video has been filmed earlier this month, seeing her riding a bucking bronco and donning similar outfit she wore in the cover art.

Actress Valerie Harper is glad of one thing when it comes to the early closure of her Broadway play "Looped" - no more letters from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) about the fur coat she wears onstage as late actress Tallulah Bankhead.

Last week, producers announced the show would end after a six-week run, amid reports of low ticket sales and PETA activists are celebrating because it means the full mink Harper wears as Bankhead will be retired. Harper admits she has received correspondence from PETA bosses about the coat.

"Lost" star Matthew Fox landed his brother in big trouble in his teens by lying about a stash of marijuana. The actor was a hell raiser in his youth, but managed to keep the extent of his wild ways from his parents.

However, he feared he'd lost his lucky streak when his father found his "weed crop" hidden away on the family farm in Wyoming. Fox tells Playboy magazine, "I blamed it on my brother Francis, who's five years older than I am. He was in Mexico City on an exchange program for about six months."

Rapper/actor Ice-T has slammed Grammy-winning singer Aimee Mann in a post on his Twitter page after she criticized his acting in "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit". Singer/songwriter Mann took to her Twitter blog after watching an episode of the hit U.S. crime show, telling fans she can't understand how the hip-hop star, who has starred in the series for ten years, landed the high-profile role.

She wrote, "There is no reason anyone should have cast Ice T in a television show." And after the rapper saw Mann's criticism, he retaliated with a foul-mouthed Twitter tirade. He replied, "Hey Aimee Mann stop worrying bout (sic) my acting b**ch, and worry about your WACK a** music. In the mean time.. Eat a hot bowl of d**ks! Ice T."

Another report from the casting of untitled Spider-Man reboot has hit the web. Still surrounding the issue of who will tackle the title character, insiders at Sony Pictures have just told Deadline Hollywood that Logan Lerman is not getting the coveted role.

Insisting on the statement, the insiders are "100%" sure that the "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" star is not going to play the superhero. In fact, the insiders claim, the studio never seriously considered Lerman as the possible depicter of the alter ego of Peter Parker.

A picture showing Justin Timberlake shooting his cameo part in Esmee Denters' "Love Dealer" music video has hit the web. The ex-member of boyband NSYNC and his protege are captured doing the video shoot on the roof of a skyscraper.

The video is directed by The Malloys, and was shot in March in downtown Los Angeles. According to People, it will show "the process of recording her song." A source revealed, "Justin sends Esmee out into the world and watches her career take off as he looks down on her from a rooftop."

"Ghostbusters" actress Annie Potts has paid tribute to her late "Designing Women" co-star Dixie Carter - remembering her as a "goddess". Carter, who starred in the hit sitcom from 1986 until 1993, passed away on Saturday, April 10 aged 70 following a battle with cancer.

And Potts, her fellow castmember in "Designing Women", is devastated by the loss of her pal, calling Carter a "treasure beyond reckoning". She tells Entertainment Tonight, "Dixie Carter was a goddess. Beautiful and brainy, smart and funny, prim and sexy, wickedly talented and divinely sweet."

Lady GaGa has returned to the top of the U.K. album charts for a fourth time, making her only the second female solo artist to achieve such a feat. The pop star's debut "The Fame" first hit number one a year ago in April 2009 and spent four weeks on top. She returned in March for two non-consecutive weeks, and now jumps back again.

The album has spent 48 weeks in the U.K. top 10 since it's debuted at number three in January, 2009. Dido did the same with her second album "Life for Rent" between 2003 and 2004.

The Flaming Lips welcome critics of their reworking of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" because the nasty blog attacks are winning them new fans. The band first tackled the classic album at the Bonnaroo festival in America in 2003 and they plan to revive the performance at this year's Bonnaroo in June.

But, after performing the iconic album in its entirety during a hometown show in Oklahoma on New Year's Eve, on December 31, 2009, the band have been hit by a deluge of angry comments from Pink Floyd purists. And frontman Wayne Coyne admits the criticism is welcome.

Drama comedy "Paper Man" has been previewed through a new trailer. Featuring Ryan Reynolds as costumed superhero Captain Excellent, the video gives a look at how Jeff Daniels' Richard is sometimes disturbed by the existence of his imaginary friend.

The film centers its story on Richard, a failed middle-aged novelist who has never quite grown up and Abby, a 17-year-old girl whose role in a family tragedy years earlier has stolen away her youth. Both are unsure, both are afraid to take firm steps forward, and both rely on the imaginary friends in their heads to help guide them into the future - for Richard, it is Captain Excellent, and for Abby, it's morose fellow teenager Christopher.

Rocker Jack Bruce has further destroyed Cream fans' hopes the classic trio will reform again, insisting the band is "over". The bassist teamed up with Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker for dates in 2005 and admits there has been talk of a full reunion tour but that will never happen now.

Bruce tells BBC 6 Music, "There's a new story now. Cream is over. I'm now doing something very exciting, so much so I can't even talk about it. It's the most exciting project I've ever been involved in."

Jason Castro is gearing up to release his eponymous debut album "Jason Castro" across the United States on April 13. Of the upcoming release, the "American Idol" alum exclusively told AceShowbiz that he wants this album to be "music for life."

He also promised "some evolution" of him in the effort. "I think fans can definitely expect a continuation of the sound they heard on 'Idol'. I've been calling it a 'modern singer-songwriter' album meaning it's all led by the acoustic guitar and it revolves around the songs," he shared.

"Glee" star Jane Lynch is to wed her longtime partner Lara Embry. The "Julie & Julia" star went public with the happy news she and her psychologist partner had become engaged at a "Glee" event in Hollywood on Saturday, April 10, but refused to go into details about dates and venues.

The 49-year-old star's publicist recently dismissed reports of marriage plans, but Lynch has now revealed, "It's true." The actress added, "We don't have any plans at all yet, but I have a ring and everything."

Michael Jackson's long-serving publicist/manager Raymone Bain has joined the list of creditors seeking cash from the King of Pop's estate. Bain, who stood by the late pop superstar's side throughout his child molestation trial in 2005 and regularly defended the embattled singer on TV news shows, claims she's still owed $360,000 for her services.

In legal papers, obtained by TMZ, Bain claims she was not paid at all in 2008, when she cut ties with Jackson. Bain filed a $44 million lawsuit against the King of Pop just before his death in June 2009, claiming past wages and financial compensation for the work she did for her ex-employer.

Johnny Depp is adamant his decision to continue the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise was not motivated by money, insisting he "loves" his swashbuckling character. The Hollywood actor has played Captain Jack Sparrow in three of the movies, and is preparing to start filming a fourth installment, "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", this summer.

"The Lord of the Rings" star Dominic Monaghan is hobbling around Hollywood after breaking his foot while surfing. According to the actor's publicist, the star has smashed his metatarsal - the same injury that has prompted his soccer hero David Beckham to pull out of the upcoming World Cup.

Universal Pictures has given a look at upcoming "The Adjustment Bureau" by debuting the first production photos from the film. Exposed in the stills are lead actors Matt Damon and Emily Blunt.

Donning a white top, Damon is seen discussing something seriously with Blunt who is suited up in a black dress in one image. In the other shot, meanwhile, the two are featured embracing each other while staring at something.

The Los Angeles cop spearheading the campaign to track down the teenage burglars targeting the homes of stars like Orlando Bloom and Paris Hilton is struggling to understand why the thieves stole personal items which were only precious to their owners. The leaders of Hollywood's so-called "Bling Ring" have been rounded up by cops, but case leader Brett Goodkin is still mystified about the motives for the burglaries and what was taken from the homes of Bloom, Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox, among others.

He estimates the teenagers' Hollywood haul amounts to more than $2.8 million. Goodkin says, "Many celebrities lost family heirlooms - pieces of jewelery, pieces of art, and (in) most of those cases, they didn't have much monetary value to anyone else. It wasn't about money. It was about, 'My uncle gave it to me,' or, 'Y'know (sic), the first time I ever got a job as an actor, I treated myself and I bought myself that - and I really want it back'."

With the departure of such regulars as Zach Gilford, Taylor Kitsch and Jesse Plemons, "Friday Night Lights" producers have recruited a new hunk Grey Damon to the fifth season of the TV series. Damon is confirmed by EW to play a regular on the show.

He will tackle the role of a sexy, laid back basketball player who joins the East Dillon Lions as a wide receiver. His character named Hastings Ruckle is described as a "super, super hot guy who must be over 6 feet tall with a strong athletic build" and has "dark, hippie, party-guy vibe."

Warner Bros. Pictures has been generous in sharing scenes from "The Losers" as they have released a lot of new clips. Teasing audience with the action sequence from the movie, one of the videos also shows that Zoe Saldana and Jeffrey Dean Morgan have more-than-business relationship as they are caught by their partners to have slept together.

The first look at Christina Aguilera's "Not Myself Tonight" music video has been shared through an on-set picture. It shows the singer wearing a black get-up and being sandwiched by female extras donning similar hair-do and make-up. The photo was posted on Twitter by a fan named AuthenticMac who, later on, took it down for unknown reason.

"Not Myself Tonight" is the lead single from Christina's June 8 release "Bionic". The song recently became the most added song at both Top 40 and Rhythm radio and will likely be performed during the taping of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on May 7 in New York City.

Comedian Andy Dick was kicked out of a winery in Temecula, California on Friday, April 9 for drunken behavior. TMZ reports the "Reality Bites" star was partying with friends at the South Coast Winery Resort & Spa when staff asked him to leave.

A manager tells the website that Dick was escorted off the property by security because he "showed signs of intoxication". The funnyman's drunken behavior has landed him in trouble before he was previously counseled by TV doctor Drew Pinsky on his "Sober House" show in 2009.

Ellie Goulding has made public a music video in support of her latest single "Guns and Horses". The British singer is seen wandering in a forest with several backing dancers in this clip directed by Petro and filmed at Griffith Park in Los Angeles.

"I was just walking around a forest," she told The Mirror about the video shoot. "I've got dancers who are pretty awesome and they do everything. I'm a bit shy. I can dance, but I won't do it yet. -- I can't remember the last time I went out dancing. I don't really have time as I'm always on tour."

Joss Stone has bared all for a new animal rights campaign - in a bid to ban black bear pelts worn by royal guards in the U.K. The "You Had Me" hitmaker has teamed up with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) activists for the shoot in the hope it will convince officials to get rid of the Canadian bear fur caps worn by the officers.

A source tells Britain's Sunday Mirror, "The plight of wild bears hunted for their skins and for fun is a subject very close to her heart. She hates the fact that Canadian black bears are slaughtered for their skins to make The Queen's Guards' ceremonial caps so decided to peel off for the campaign."

James McAvoy is turning his back on Hollywood blockbusters because he wants to focus on forging a stage career in his native Britain. The "Atonement" actor pulled out of a starring role in upcoming comedy/drama "I'm With Cancer" shortly after an announcement that his wife Anne Marie Duff is expecting their first child in June.

McAvoy is said to have been offered $1.5 million for the role but he has no regrets about turning the part down, because he doesn't want to spend all his time in Hollywood. He says, "I don't like planning too far ahead. My life was getting planned for me, so I said, 'Stop.' I'm going to do a play, no films for a while."

Jim Carrey has attempted to clear up his bizarre Twitter defence of disgraced golfer Tiger Woods, by insisting he does not condone infidelity. The movie star left Twitter followers puzzled when he waded into the Woods' cheating scandal by claiming the embattled golfer's wife must have known about his infidelities.

In a tweet on Friday, April 9, Carrey wrote, "Tiger Woods owes nothing 2 anyone but himself." The actor, who also took to Twitter to announce his split from girlfriend Jenny McCarthy earlier in week, then turned on the golfer's scorned wife, Elin Nordegren, declaring "No wife is blind enough to miss that much infidelity. Elin had 2 b (sic) a willing participant on the ride 4 whatever reason."

The latest North American Box Office is seeing a tight competition between two movies to get the champion title. Based on studio estimates released on Sunday, April 11, "Date Night" is temporarily sitting at the first place with only about $225,000 higher than "Clash of the Titans".

The Tina Fey and Steve Carell-starring comedy rakes in an estimated $27,1 million on its debut weekend. Meanwhile, the Louis Leterrier-directed film which topped the chart last week grosses an approximately $26,9 million, dropping 56.1% from last week tally. However, the result could change when the true numbers come out in Monday afternoon.

Tina Fey hooked up with Justin Bieber in two skits of "Saturday Night Live" show. Also, the Canadian singer made a quick appearance during the monologue where Tina spoofed her hectic schedule in juggling her responsibility in "30 Rock", "Date Night" and guest stint in "SNL".

One of the sketches saw Justin going to a school dance with Tina, and the other has Justin sitting as one of the students in Tina's fictional science class. Being the only pupil who acted nice to her, he was praised by her as "a baby bunny sniffing a tiny flower." She even fantasized about him, daydreaming he serenaded her with a song about "buying her a Panini and some spanks to make her teeny."

Actress Dixie Carter has died at the age of 70. Carter, best known for her role in hit sitcom "Designing Women", passed away on Saturday, April 10. Her cause of death has not yet been released. Her husband, actor Hal Holbrook, says in a statement, "This has been a terrible blow to our family. We would appreciate everyone understanding that this is a private family tragedy."

Carter began her small-screen career in 1974 when she was offered a role on U.S. soap opera "One Life to Live", and later appeared in series such as "Family Law" and "Diff'rent Strokes" before playing her most famous role as Julia Sugarbaker on "Designing Women".
