Rockers Rage Against the Machine have reached out to Simon Cowell after their feud over the U.K. Christmas charts in 2009 - they want to perform with his protege Susan Boyle. The California band snatched the coveted top spot from the winner of Cowell's talent show "The X Factor", following an internet campaign to stop a four-year run of reality stars ruling the festive charts.

They infuriated the "American Idol" judge by topping Joe McElderry with the re-release of their 1992 hit "Killing in the Name", and are set to put on a massive free gig in London in June to thank fans for downloading their track. They've invited Boyle, who was discovered on Cowell's "Britain's Got Talent", to sing on stage with them at the concert - in a bid to make peace with the music mogul.

Pete Doherty is worried about The Libertines' upcoming sets at a U.K. music festival, admitting the reunion is "potentially a disaster" waiting to happen. The cult band, fronted by Doherty and Carl Barat, was announced as part of the line-up for Britain's twin Reading and Leeds festivals on Monday, March 29.

It will mark the first time the group has performed together in full since 2004 - and Doherty is worried their stormy relations could resurface when they take the stage together this summer. He tells NME.com, "I was like, 'Lets get on with it'. Potentially it's a f**king disaster - it's a tinder box waiting to go up."

Fans of hit U.S. TV show "Glee" have been given the chance to see the season premiere early at exclusive charity screenings. A new episode of the series, which stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, is set to debut in America on April 13, but a few lucky fans will get to see it a week in advance.

Fox network executives have announced they are holding a string of early viewings to raise funds for the Grammy in the Schools music education program. For just $15, "Glee" followers can attend screenings next week in New York City, Chicago, Illinois and Austin, Texas.

Cameron Diaz has been spotted hitting the set of "Bad Teacher" in Los Angeles on Monday, March 29. Shooting her scene alone without companion of her co-star Justin Timberlake, the actress was pictured sitting behind the steering of a red Mercedez. During the sunny day, Diaz wore a yellow dress paired with sunglasses.

The day before, on Sunday, March 28, Diaz decided not to take a day off as she was also seen busy shooting for the upcoming movie. Donning a skimpy outift, the 37-year-old beauty held a poster mentioning "Car Wash" at Tinseltown.

Actresses Eva Longoria, Amber Valletta and Maria Bello have teamed up to urge the U.S. public to back a new Haiti charity campaign. The trio has penned an open letter asking Americans to dig deep and donate to the Raise the Roof appeal, which aims to buy tents to shelter locals left homeless by January's devastating earthquake.

The letter reads, "With rainy season just two weeks away, more than a million Haitian people are still displaced as a result of the January 12th earthquake and are living in tent cities in shelters made of makeshift tarps and cotton bed sheets. Two nights ago at the Petionville Displacement Camp in Port-au-Prince, the rains were so hard that the entire village was a foot thick in mud by the next morning."

"Massive Attack", Nicki Minaj's debut single, has been out for fans' listening pleasure. It features Sean Garrett and is confirmed as the lead single from the female rapper's forthcoming first studio album which will be released later this year.

A music video has been filmed in Lancaster, California on March 15 to support the brand new song. It is directed by Hype Williams and has the Young Money artist sharing screen with Amber Rose aka Kanye West's girlfriend.

A representative for Sandra Bullock has refuted claims the actress is planning to adopt Jesse James' children in the wake of their marriage breakdown. The Hollywood star walked out on James in early March after tattoo model Michelle McGee went public with claims she romanced the married reality star for 11 months, including a period when Bullock was shooting "The Blind Side" on location.

A string of other women have since come forward with allegations of affairs with James. The TV mechanic's ex-wife, Janine Lindemulder, spoke out after the scandal broke, insisting she wanted Bullock to remain close to her daughter 6-year-old Sunny.

This week on "The Marriage Ref", host Tom Papa is accompanied by three celebrities, namely Kirstie Alley, Jimmy Fallon and Sheryl Crow. A sneak peek is given ahead of the April 1 episode, Papa selects Kirstie as the one who should determine the married couples' fate and express her opinion about their case.

In "Marriage Ref", couples from across the country will face off to settle their marital tiffs which run the gamut of disagreements - quirky, funny, relatable - all with the signature "Seinfeld" tone. The couples that present their problems will be given a call by the Ref, popular comedian Tom Papa, just like in sports, with the declared winner walking away with a prize.

CBS Films has teased audience with more scenes from "The Back-Up Plan" by debuting some new clips. While three of the new snippets expose Jennifer Lopez and Alex O'Loughlin on their awkward date, the other video follows the actor who has a heart-to-heart conversation with Anthony Anderson about having kids.

In the movie, Lopez plays Zoe who, after years of dating, has decided waiting for the right one is taking too long. Determined to become a mother, she wants to do it alone and has an artificial insemination. But everything does not happen as she plans after she meets O'Loughlin's Stan, a man with real possibilities.

Ozzy Osbourne's new song will debut as the soundtrack to a prison riot on TV. "Let Me Hear You Scream" will have its world premiere during the April 14 episode of crime drama "CSI: NY" in America.

Executive producer Peter Lenkov, who also co-wrote the screenplay for the episode, admits Osbourne's new tune was perfect for scenes in which show regular Hill Harper is trapped in a prison during a riot. Lenkov says, "We were looking for something high energy and irreverent to sell the madness of a prison riot. We immediately responded to the new Osbourne tune. The song exceeded our expectations and brought exactly the right tone to the episode."

Usher has premiered a music video directed by Anthony Mandler to support his new single called "OMG". The clip was filmed in Los Angeles and has a cameo appearance from Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am who also lends his vocal on the track.

"Let's just say that the video is a spectacle," the director previously dished on what to expect from the video. "It really emphasizes what we love about Usher and the character and the icon that he is, and most importantly, it's really a video that showcases his superstardom."

Rocker Slash is to be honored at this summer's Sunset Strip Music Festival in Los Angeles. The former Guns N' Roses' guitarist will be celebrated at the third annual party in August.

As part of the big event, City of West Hollywood officials will declare August 26, 2010, Slash Day. The rock star tells WENN, "I am sincerely overwhelmed to be the recipient of the Sunset Strip Music Festival honors! The Strip and West Hollywood have been my stomping grounds since I was a little kid."

Officials at leading gay rights group the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) are saluting pop star Ricky Martin for "coming out" on his website. The Latino star ended years of speculation about his sexuality on Monday, March 29 by revealing he's a proud homosexual in a statement on his official site - and American activists are thrilled.

A statement from GLAAD President Jarrett Barrios reads, "When someone like Ricky Martin comes out, hundreds of millions of people now have a cultural connection with an artist, a celebrity and, perhaps most importantly, a father who happens to be gay."

What happened next on "The Celebrity Apprentice" after three celebrities have left the show is teased in a string of clips. In this April 4 episode, the celebrities are shocked when their project managers are separated from them before the task is even delivered.

On a private jet, the project managers are informed that this week they must create a three-dimensional display to launch Universal Orlando's newest attraction, "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter." British socialite and magazine columnist Peaches Geldof has been axed as the face of a U.K. lingerie brand after naked pictures of her were leaked online. Saucy snaps of Bob Geldof's wildchild daughter hit cyberspace last week. In one shot she's fully nude on a bed with her legs in the air, while she reveals her breasts, wearing just a pair of pants, in another.

The pictures were posted by a man who claims to have enjoyed a one-night stand with Geldof in Los Angeles in November 2009. He also alleges the pair went on to share a night of sex and drugs. The 21-year-old's lawyer has slammed the claims, stating "The allegations that our client was carrying and injecting heroin are denied."

A brand new trailer for "Knight & Day" has been made available for viewing pleasure. Opened with the part in which Cameron Diaz tells a man in uniform about mysterious Tom Cruise, the video shares fresh footage from the middle towards the end of it. The scenes which have the two stars riding on motorcycle in Spain are also featured in this new trailer.

In "Knight & Day", Cruise plays Milner, a secret agent who goes on a blind date with unlucky-in-love Diaz's June. Trapped in a journey to protect a powerful battery that holds the key to an infinite power source, they become fugitives and they must figure out whether to be guided by truth or trust.

R&B star India.Arie is mourning the loss of her great grandmother, who died just months shy of turning 100. The "Video" singer tweeted her tributes to her late relative over the weekend, March 28, telling followers she'd attended the funeral on Saturday, March 27 and realized there her great grandmother was truly a great lady.

In posts on Twitter, the singer/songwriter wrote, "Funerals always scare me but this one was just gorgeous. Hearing people talk about her showed me how much I am her child. She was a singer/ evangelist/ speaker/ made her own clothes... She was known for being well dressed and wearing the highest heels you ever saw an old woman wear."

Rumor has it, Dr. Dre and Jay-Z have teamed up on a new song and the two are going to release the joint track this week. The news was first brought forward by E! News correspondent Michael Yo on his Twitter.

"Look for it this week New Jay Z and Dr Dre!!! Can't wait:)," he wrote. "Everyone buzzing about it at interscope records!!" The title of the song is yet to be revealed but sources suggested it is one of the songs recorded for Dr. Dre's upcoming album "Detox".

Heather Mills' former nanny has painted Paul McCartney's ex-wife as a mean boss during a sex discrimination and unfair dismissal trial in England. At an employment tribunal on Monday, March 29, Sara Trumble claimed Mills forced her to work overtime without pay and then replaced her when she gave birth to her own daughter.

Trumble recalled working for Mills when she was married to McCartney and then standing by her boss when her marriage ended and through her bitter divorce trial. In court, the nanny said, "I was, I believe, a great source of comfort and support for Heather at this time."

Demi Lovato didn't play it coy about her feeling towards new boyfriend Joe Jonas as she wanted to make sure that the world knows she's in love with the Jonas Brothers star. Since late 2009, there have been talks that 1996 "Independence Day" will get a sequel titled "ID4-ever" with Will Smith expected to reprise his role as Captain Steven Hille. While he has not confirmed the news yet, the actor is now reported set to appear in not only one but two sequels for the sci-fi movie.

According to IESB, the "Independence Day" sequel(s) is closer to happening than ever before with plan to shoot them back-to-back. Sources also told the site that the principal photography could start as early as 2011.

Ciara reportedly will release a track which features her teaming up with Ludacris for the first treatment of her upcoming studio album. The song is called "Ride" and will get radio airplay in the next few weeks, so Rap-Up reported.

Christopher "Tricky" Stewart joins forces with The-Dream to produce the follow-up to Ciara's 2009 "Fantasy Ride". In order to avoid leaks, the 24-year-old female singer and her team keep their lips tightly sealed on details of the effort.

The man who penned the screenplay for John Travolta's 2000 flop "Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000" has apologized to film fans - for writing it. J.D. Shapiro's treatment became the film that was voted the Worst Movie of the Decade at the recent Golden Raspberry Awards, and now the writer has spoken of his shame in an open letter in the New York Post.

The screenwriter states, "Let me start by apologizing to anyone who went to see 'Battlefield Earth'. It wasn't as I intended - promise. No one sets out to make a train wreck. Actually, comparing it to a train wreck isn't really fair to train wrecks, because people actually want to watch those."

Lindsay Lohan's new material called "Stuck" has emerged in full. The track was rumored to be debuted during Perez Hilton's 32nd birthday party which was held on March 27 right after the live ceremony of Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards.

Reportedly written by Ne-Yo and produced by Stargate, the song actually has been leaked in a short snippet earlier this month. Hours before the blogger's bash was kicked off, Lindsay tweeted on Saturday evening, "I still wonder who leaked part of 'stuck'." She apparently fought off the leak by revealing it in full.

Since most other shows are nowhere near "Lost" in generating buzz this season, ABC is confident that advertisers will be investing huge on the show's series finale. According to some media buyers, the Alphabet puts the price for ad slot between $850,000 to $950,000 per 30-second ad.

This is a 400% increase from last season finale's ad slot which sold around $213,563 per ad and $400,000 to $600,000 less than an ad slot at this year's Oscars. The network could earn enormously since the finale aired on Sunday, May 23 will be a three-hour event that starts with a one-hour recap at 8/7c.

After releasing trailers and pictures from "Toy Story 3", Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar plan to further tease audience with more scenes by preparing "Cliffhanger Edition" screenings for the upcoming animation at 65 college town in the U.S. While the movie will not hit U.S. theaters until summer, students will be able to watch the first 65 minutes of the film for free starting next month.

However, only a few colleges and universities in each states are eligible to attend. Those who want to come to the preview screenings also have to show valid college I.D. for entrance. Russell Crowe is to be honored with the 2,404th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Oscar winner will unveil the pavement plaque in front of the Kodak Theater, where the Academy Awards are held annually, on April 12.

Troubled country star Mindy McCready has become the latest celebrity to feature in a sex tape. In "Mindy McCready: Baseball Mistress", the fallen singer appears in alleged X-rated scenes with a mystery boyfriend and tells graphic tales of her bedroom encounters with celebrity ex-lovers.

The title is a reference to McCready's alleged affair with former sportsman Roger Clemens. Bosses at distributor Vivid Entertainment promise the tape includes "almost an hour of action interspersed with a narrative about her former lovers, who included Red Sox and Yankees' pitching great Roger Clemens, actor Dean Cain, country singer Alan Jackson and others."

"Survival of the Dead" has got another preview through a brand new age-restricted trailer. Making its way out via IGN, the video gives a lot of its portion to Alan Van Sprang's Col. "Nicotine" Crockett who, along with his troops, decides to strike out the undead in an effort to survive. More creepy scenes which show how the zombies threaten humans' lives are also shared in this trailer.

In Plum Island where a beautiful refuge whose isolation allows two powerful families to maintain a semblance of order in the wake of the zombie holocaust, the two clans become sharply divided as the inhabitants slowly die off. The O'Flynns believe that the undead must be destroyed without exception, while the Muldoons insist that afflicted loved ones be kept "alive" until a cure is found.

Rapper Snoop Dogg has no hard feelings against the U.S. TV bosses who canceled his family reality show "Snoop Dogg's Father Hood" - he's convinced the program was scrapped because there was no "drama". The hip-hop star, real name Calvin Broadus, invited cameras from the E! cable channel into his Los Angeles home in 2007 to document his daily routine with his wife Shante Taylor and their children Cori, Cordell and Corde.

The program lasted for two seasons before it was axed in 2008 but Snoop Dogg has no regrets about the show because he's proud of how well-behaved his kids are. He tells talk show host Larry King, "I believe the show was too positive and too enlightening. They wanted some drama."

Christina Aguilera unleashes more pictures taken from the photoshoot of her new album "Bionic". One of the pictures is similar to artwork of the lead single "Not Myself Tonight", only this time no devil's horns and tail on it. The others are a headshot like the one captured for the album cover art.

Containing "electronic and organic elements with subject matter ranging from playful to introspective", "Bionic" is scheduled to make its way out in the U.S. on June 8. The first single produced by Polow da Don and co-written by Ester Dean is going to be debuted in full on March 30 at 6 P.M. EDT.

R&B star Usher has been put off the idea of marriage following the bitter split from his ex-wife Tameka Foster. The "Yeah!" hitmaker wed the stylist in 2007 but they parted ways in 2009 and he subsequently filed for divorce, claiming their union was "irretrievably broken" with "no reasonable hope of reconciliation".

Their legal battle turned nasty over custody of their two sons 2-year-old Usher Raymond V and one-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond but they settled their differences and their divorce was finalized in November 2009.

Yunjin Kim, or best known as Sun-Hwa Kwon on ABC's "Lost", has got married to her long-time boyfriend Jeong Hyeok Park on Sunday, March 28. The 36-year-old tied the knot in Hawaii where the filming of "Lost" is taking place for the sixth and final season.

"Yes, it's true. She did get married this weekend," her representative told E! Online. The rep however said that there would be no other details about the wedding disclosed this time being. Kim has known Park for more than 7 years when he became her manager in 2002.

Actor Owen Wilson and his actor brother Andrew Wilson have been slapped with a lawsuit by a disgruntled paparazzi who alleges he was beaten up by the siblings in an altercation in 2008. Clint Brewer filed legal papers in a California court last week, claiming he was "pushed in the back" by the John Beckwith of "Wedding Crashers" as he walked up a flight of stairs in Santa Monica on December 5, 2008.

According to the court documents, a fight ensued involving both actor brothers, and the snapper "sustained severe bodily injuries, a portion of which are permanent". The snapper is seeking damages of $500,000 and medical expenses totaling $3,251.10, reports TMZ.

Not only fans who cannot wait to see another "Star Trek" film, but also the cast are eager to act in front of cameras for the untitled Star Trek sequel. However, the stars will have to wait for at least a year to work on the project as the shooting will likely be kicked off in 2011 instead of this year like it was recently reported.

According to TrekMovie, sources said the second "Star Trek" film is not expected to start filming until next year, in around late spring or early summer. While scripting for the movie is still underway, it is possible that pre-production will begin this year.

The executors of Farrah Fawcett's estate have slammed allegations of financial mismanagement, branding the accusations by producer/filmmaker Craig Nevius "outrageous". Estate trustee Richard B. Francis sued Nevius in January, claiming he "sensationalized" the "Charlie's Angels" star's story in "amateurish" footage he produced for a documentary about her illness.

In the legal papers, Nevius is accused of seeking "misplaced revenge" when Fawcett rejected his work, by revealing private and personal information about the actress, giving out footage without her consent and embezzling cash from the trust she set up for the film. Nevius denied the claims, insisting he enjoyed a cordial working relationship with Fawcett before her death in June 2009 after a battle with anal cancer.

The 11 pairs of "Dancing with the Stars" returned to the dance floor this week for a performance that would determine who gets to go home first this season. They got to pick between Jive and Foxtrot.

Shannen Doherty and Mark Ballas were the first couple who tackled Jive. Len Goodman said, "Amongst all that energy, there has to be control. You lost that control." Bruno Tonioli on the other hand said, "Your energy was so much better," but added later "Kicks and flicks could have been sharper." The score: 7-6-7, a total of 20/30.

Cypress Hill have debuted a music video for their new single "Rise Up". The band are seen performing the song in front of black, white and red graffiti graphics along with their featured guest Rage Against the Machine's guitarist Tom Morello.

"We did the bulk of it [the album], but after we got halfway, we said, 'Let's try some different things'," the band's member B-Real told AOL. "We thought we should try collaborating with Tom Morello, which was a natural fit. We reached out and he gave us two great tracks."

British singer Cheryl Cole is to release a book of personal photographs documenting the history of her life so far. The Girls Aloud's star has announced she will be releasing the tome, showing her changing image and detailing significant moments of her life through previously unseen pictures.

Cole, who has recently separated from her soccer star husband Ashley Cole, plans to release the book through Transworld publishers. She says, "I think looking at pictures is a bit like listening to music - it reminds you of what was happening and how you were feeling at certain times in your life. Sometimes I look at old pictures and I can't believe that was me. I think we all do that."

Rapper Snoop Dogg has hailed the U.K. immigration officials who helped to overturn his visa ban and publicly thanked them on U.S. TV. The "Beautiful" hitmaker, real name Calvin Broadus, incurred the wrath of border officials in 2006 when he was arrested following a fracas at London's Heathrow Airport.

He was denied entry into the country in 2007 when authorities labeled him a threat, citing his prior drug and firearms offenses. Snoop challenged the decision in court and it was lifted in 2008, only for government representatives to take the case to the Court of Appeal, where it was decided the judge who reversed the ruling may have "misinterpreted the test of exclusion".

Giant monster Godzilla is set to hit cinemas once again. Legendary Pictures has announced that they have nabbed the rights to create a new film based on the Toho's iconic character, teaming up with Warner Bros. which will co-finance and co-produce the upcoming project titled "Godzilla".

According to the press release, "Legendary intends to approach the film and its characters in the most authentic manner possible." The company also promises to announce a director to lead the new installment for the franchise in the near future while the movie is slated for 2012 release.

Pierce Brosnan was left in awe of how popular his "Remember Me" co-star Robert Pattinson is after hundreds of female fans descended on the film set to catch a glimpse of the star. The two actors recently teamed up as father and son in the movie, and Brosnan has already expressed his admiration for how the "Twilight" hunk is handling his new found fame.

The former "Bond" star was pleased to see his own fans near the New York set - but he was stunned when Pattinson was mobbed on a daily basis. Brosnan says, "Lovely lad, lovely lad. Drake's forthcoming first studio album "Thank Me Later" has got a release date. The long-delayed effort is slated to be made available for purchase across the United States on May 25, according to Rap-Up.

The Canadian rapper once told MTV, "This record sums up where I am right now in my career. I think it's a great first impression. Disgraced R&B singer Chris Brown is still suffering the after-effects of his attack on Rihanna - he's reportedly struggling to find a venue for his upcoming 21st birthday party. The shamed star was handed a community service order and five years probation for repeatedly punching the "Umbrella" hitmaker during a bust-up after a pre-Grammy Awards party in 2009.

His image has taken a battering since the incident - and now the "With You" singer is even allegedly struggling to find a plush venue whose owners are happy to host the star's 21st birthday celebrations in May.

Actor Greg Wise tried to seduce Kate Winslet before he married Emma Thompson - after a clairvoyant told him he was destined to wed a "Sense and Sensibility" co-star. Wise met both Winslet and Thompson on the set of the 1995 movie, and was convinced the "Titanic" star was his future wife after a fortune-teller predicted he would fall in love during filming.

But because Thompson was still married to Kenneth Branagh at the time, Wise tried to date Winslet instead - but they failed to hit it off. He went on to wed Thompson in 2003. Thompson says, "Of course I was still married to Ken so Greg thought it must be (Kate) Winslet and he courted her assiduously."

Warner Bros. Pictures has started its weekdays by holding a premiere for its upcoming movie "Clash of the Titans". Taking place at the Empire Leicester Square in London, England on Monday, March 29, the event had red carpet rolled out to welcome all the guests, including the cast and crew for the film.

It is official, Adam Lambert is going to perform at The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards. He will sing at the April 17 ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.
