Randy Jackson has lashed out at organizers of the Grammy awards for failing to invite his family to witness Sunday night's, January 31, 2010 tribute to his late brother Michael Jackson. The King of Pop, who passed away in June 2009, was honored with a spectacular 3-D performance featuring Smokey Robinson, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood and Usher at the prestigious music event.

Joan Jett is delighted with Kristen Stewart's portrayal of her in new movie biopic "The Runaways" - insisting the "Twilight" star's "quiet intensity" defined her. The "99 Problems" star was watching from the audience at Los Angeles' Staples Center - and he predicts a groundbreaking future for Usher. He tells Access Hollywood, "I thought the Michael Jackson tribute was fantastic and I thought Usher was doing a magnificent job."

Eco-warrior Jack Johnson is to record his new album using nothing but the sun's rays. The mellow Hawaiian has started work on the project at his solar powered Mango Tree studio and expects to have it ready for release in June.

Meanwhile, Johnson will take a break from recording his follow-up to 2008's "Sleep Through the Static" to headline the sixth annual Kokua Festival in April in Honolulu. Ziggly Marley and Taj Mahal will join him on the bill. The weekend event benefits the Kokua Hawaii Foundation, a non-profit organization started by Johnson and his wife that promotes environmental education.

Heather Mills is set to reveal all about her marriage to Paul McCartney in an upcoming British TV interview. The Beatles legend wed the former glamour model in 2002, but the couple separated in 2006, leading to an ugly public divorce battle.

Actress Kirstie Alley is fuming after online bullies targeted her teenage daughter on social networking site Twitter.com. The "Cheers" star was shocked to discover 15-year-old Lillie had been receiving nasty messages on the microblogging site, and immediately urged the youngster to delete her account.

In a series of posts on her own Twitter page, the actress fumes, "What would you do to people who harass your children viciously on twitter? Since BLOCKING them is not working... somehow they have found a way around blocking... I'm going to request that my daughter leaves Twitter."

Victoria Adams is still in awe of her superstar Hollywood neighbors - she can never get used to sharing planes with George Clooney. The British singer-turned-designer and her soccer ace husband David Beckham moved to California when the sports star transferred to Los Angeles Galaxy in 2007.

"The Wire" star Idris Elba is giving back to the British charity which helped to kick start his acting career by filming a motivational documentary for the organization. The company gave him a $2,400 grant as a teenager, which paid for his place at the National Youth Music Theater.

And now Elba has stepped in front of the camera to film a short documentary highlighting the troubles facing the youths of modern Britain. He says, "I grew up around people who have gone through hardship and crime and I knew people who were criminals. My character in 'The Wire' harvests kids who have come out of school and into crime. But there are a lot of talented kids out there who just need a foot in the door."

Few days before "Dear John" is dropped in theaters across the U.S., Screen Gems has held a premiere for the film. Taking place at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, California, on Monday, February 1, the red carpet event had a number of young celebrities among the attendees.

Amanda Seyfried was one of the stars who stole the attention. Donning a blue dress, the lead actress showed off her back and her cleavage. He tells RadarOnline.com, "Brooke is doing great. Brooke is getting massages daily at Two Dreams and even played tennis with her mother while she was visiting. She is starting to heal herself. She is feeling so much better, so much stronger."

Actress Sophie Okonedo is set to make a cameo in the new series of "Doctor Who", according to reports. The "Hotel Rwanda" star is said to have already filmed her scenes as mysterious character Liz Ten for the cult U.K. sci-fi series, which sees a new Time Lord, Matt Smith, take over from David Tennant later this year.

A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Getting Sophie on board is a huge coup for the BBC. The forthcoming series has been criticized for being a bit light on the big names. But the feeling is less is more. Some fans thought the Kylie Minogue Christmas episode was a bit naff (poor)."

British rocker Pete Doherty's first performance since the mystery death of his filmmaker pal Robyn Whitehead was not one he'll want to remember - he was pelted with bagels after taking the stage at a private party over an hour late. Julia Roberts is planning a sexy St. Valentine's Day treat for husband Danny Moder - dinner and a strip show. The romantic "The Mexican" star can't wait for February 14 because she has plans to remind Moder just how pretty a woman she is after three kids and almost eight years of marriage.

A music video aimed to boost the sale of Carrie Underwood's latest single "Temporary Home" has made its way out. Carrie is sitting on the back seat of a cab on her way to the hospital to visit her ailing on-screen grandfather. In a touching moment, she and the old man reveal how they care about each other.

"Temporary Home" is a ballad track taken from Carrie's third studio album "Play On". The song was showcased live by the "American Idol" alum on a November 2009 episode of "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien".

Despite all the talks about the follow-up to highly-successful "Avatar" which suggested that the sequel is underway, MarketSaw has just noted that it may not come that fast. The site has claimed a source told them that the next installment for the sci-fi film franchise will be made within four years. However, it has not been known when the pre-production for this forthcoming project will be started.

About what can be expected from the second "Avatar" movie, the site further informed that it will be a full blown war. The rocker champions "Meat Free Monday", a campaign to encourage consumers to ditch meat for one day a week, and he used his chance as Goop correspondent to champion the cause. Mariah Carey and Courtney Love almost teamed up for one of the most bizarre musical collaborations ever after meeting at moviemaker Brett Ratner's Hollywood home. The rocker was playing her new Hole tune "Samantha for Ratner" when Carey, who was in the studio to oversee videos the filmmaker had directed for her, offered to appear on the track.

The Who bassist John Entwistle's death brought warring bandmates Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey closer together than ever. The rocker died in Las Vegas on the eve of a U.S. tour in 2002 and Townshend admits the tragedy forced Daltrey and himself to put aside their differences and come together.

The guitar great says, "We've never hated each other in the way that the press has sometimes portrayed, but we've never found it easy to get on with each other. We've never socialized very much, and we still don't."

But he'll team up with P. Like big musicians did in the U.S. by remaking "We Are the World", Mariah Carey and Susan Boyle have also united to record a charity single in a bid to bring relief to Haiti. They remix R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts" and it is suggested that the recording session has been completed in a London studio on Saturday, January 30 night.

Leona Lewis reportedly opens the track with her vocal, while the chorus has Kylie Minogue teaming up with Robbie Williams. The other Take That stars Gary Barlow and Mark Owen also contribute on separate lines along with Westlife's Shane Filan and Mark Feehily.

Rapper Ludacris has offered up his private jet to the relief effort in Haiti to help U.S. doctors fly medical supplies to the earthquake-ravaged country. The "Number One Spot" hitmaker has handed a team of medics the keys to his plane, so they can assist Haitians left devastated by the January 12 disaster.

Posting a photo of the volunteers involved in the mercy mission on his Twitter.com page, Ludacris writes, "These are the doctors who took my plane down 2 Haiti to deliver supplies & just landed. They r true hero's (sic)."

Singing legend Etta James has been secretly battling Alzheimer's Disease for more than a year, her son has revealed. The 72-year-old R&B star was admitted to the Riverside Community Hospital in southern California a week ago, January 29, 2010, with a suspected urinary tract infection. At the time, Donto James revealed his mother had been treated earlier this year for a dependency on painkillers and over-the-counter medication.

He now tells CNN the singer was diagnosed with Alzheimer's over a year ago and has battled it in secret ever since. Donto, who plays in his mother's band, reveals the ailing "At Last" singer is suffering from speech difficulties, and has contracted the potentially-deadly MRSA virus since first undergoing treatment.

Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor have been honored by French Culture Minister as they were named knights in the National Order of Arts and Letters for their contributions to the film industry. And the two actors had the same thought in expressing their pride, by smooching each other on the lips.

Giving the prestigious title, Minister Frederic Mitterrand gave a far-from-formal speech. As quoted by BBC, during the February 1 ceremony, Minister Frederic exclaimed, "I love you, Jim Carrey! I love you, Ewan McGregor!" Jim and Ewan themselves were in Paris to promote their new big screen project "I Love You Phillip Morris" where they play as gay lovers.

The future of next "Bourne" movie may follow the footsteps of "Spider-Man" franchise. After being left by director Paul Greengrass, Matt Damon admitted that there could be a prequel to the action flick before an untitled Bourne 4 project is made in the next few years.

"There'll probably be a prequel of some kind with another actor and another director before we do another one," Damon told Empire at the U.K. premiere of "Invictus". "Just because I think we're probably another five years away from doing it - we've got to get a script." He then jokingly added, "If you have any ideas, call Universal. They'd love for you to get in touch!"

Chace Crawford and Taylor Momsen were spotted back in Manhattan to film "Gossip Girl". The actors who portray Nate and Jenny respectively were photographed on the outdoor set on Monday, February 1.

Momsen, who came under fire recently for smoking in public despite being 16-year-old, was seen with a drink can on her hand. Crawford meanwhile was fresh from returning from Sundance Festival where he premiered the indie movie "Twelve" along with Emma Roberts and 50 Cent.

Performances from Justin Timberlake, Madonna and Alicia Keys have helped to make the all-star "Hope for Haiti" album the first digital-only release to top the U.K. compilations chart.

The album of tracks performed during George Clooney's charity telethon, including a collaboration between Jay-Z, Rihanna and U2 rockers Bono and The Edge, debuted at number one after selling more than 22,000 units. The news comes just days after the "Hope for Haiti" album hit the top of the U.S. Billboard chart, with digital sales of the telethon's performances raising more than $3 million for the earthquake relief effort.

Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor have brought their on-screen love to France. On Monday, February 1, the two actors were seen embracing each other when posing for the cameras while attending the premiere of their movie "I Love You Phillip Morris" at the Cinematheque Francaise in Paris.

Carrey and McGregor were not the only ones who supported the event. They were joined by duo directors and writers John Requa and Glenn Ficarra who came to the venue to promote the film. Though the special screening was lacking in cast, it did attract a lot of celebrities, particularly French stars.

Publishing bosses have sent pop icon Morrissey an open letter, begging him to follow through on his plans to write an autobiography. The former frontman of The Smiths has contemplated a memoir in the past, but always backed down before signing a publishing deal.

From the look of the preview, "Heroes" takes a twist of story, making Sylar no longer the villain. In the climactic season finale, everyone bands together in an effort to stop Samuel from taking the lives of thousands. Peter joins forces with his most unexpected ally to save Emma (guest star Deanne Bray).

Meanwhile, H.R.G.'s life hangs in the balance as he and Claire find themselves trapped underground with oxygen quickly running out. H.R.G. figures out that Samuel traps them together so she can watch him die. Elsewhere, Hiro starts to come to grips with the decisions he has made and is called into action to help stop a disaster.

While recording session for "We Are the World" is kicked off, filming for its accompanying music video has also been underway. According to MTV, the video is shot in 3-D and will be premiered next week, February 12.

The re-worked song will be produced by Quincy Jones along with RedOne. The opening line which was originally provided by its co-writer Lionel Richie will be sung by YouTube singing sensation Justin Bieber.

AC/DC fans were left scrambling to buy tickets to the rockers' sold-out Denmark show online - after one retailer's website crashed due to the massive demand. The "Highway to Hell" hitmakers are set to play their highly-anticipated concert in Horsens on June 5.

According to Blabbermouth.net, internet traffic to one Danish ticket retailer, Billetlugen, was so heavy the site ground to a halt on Friday, January 29. All 30,000 tickets sold out within 46 minutes of going on sale.

TV bosses have dismissed rumors Calista Flockhart is set to follow in Rob Lowe's footsteps by quitting hit show "Brothers & Sisters". The actor recently announced he will bid farewell to his TV family at the end of season four, which is set to air in the U.S. in February.

And after the news broke, rumors began circulating that Flockhart would be the next big name to walk away from the program. But ABC's Head Showrunner, David Marshall Grant, is adamant the actress will not be giving up her place in the series.

Julia Roberts is adamant she will never revive "Pretty Woman" for a sequel - because she's too "old." The 42-year-old Hollywood actress is best known for her role as prostitute Vivian Ward opposite Richard Gere in the popular 1990 movie.

The actors subsequently re-teamed for another romantic comedy, "Runaway Bride", in 1999 - but despite movie bosses' best efforts to bring "Pretty Woman" back for a follow-up, Roberts is adamant she will not be signing up.

Hip-hop group The Fugees are one step closer to a reunion after Wyclef Jean backed plans by his former bandmate Pras to collaborate and raise funds for earthquake-ravaged Haiti. The "Killing Me Softly" stars - Jean, Pras and Lauryn Hill - parted ways in 1997 before getting back together in 2004 for a short-lived reunion.

Tensions in the group led to the trio splitting for good in 2007, but Pras revealed last month he would team up with his old pals to benefit the victims of the devastating tremors that rocked his native country on 12 January 2010. Pras admitted he was considering a special one-off concert, adding, "That's the only reason I would think about doing anything on that level."

Singer Sheryl Crow considers herself "lucky" to live in Nashville, Tennessee - because the quiet country music Mecca is a safe haven from prying paparazzi. The music destination is crawling with other local celebrities including Taylor Swift, Nicole Kidman, and her country music singer husband Keith Urban, but snappers have yet to descend upon the city in droves.

From being the Painted Lady on "Heroes", Dawn Olivieri will make a transition to become a werewolf on "True Blood". The actress has been cast in the vampire series as Janice Herveaux, one of the new characters added into the third season.

From the last name, Janice is identified as the sister of Alcide, the werewolf who has a mutual interest in Sookie. Janice's role in the series is to be protective toward her younger brother. She is described as "a tough-as-nails biker chick" who is "into horoscopes and psychics". Her first appearance will be in episode 4 titled "9 Crimes".

Dedicated dad Clive Owen vowed to cut back his heavy workload over fears he would miss seeing his daughters grow up. The "Closer" star has become one of Hollywood's leading men over the last decade, and has thrown himself into work, starring in 22 movies since 2000.

But Owen will now take time off after every film he makes, so he spends time at home with his two girls - Hannah, 12, and 9-year-old Eve - during their formative years. Paired up for Grammys performance on January 31, Drake and Eminem may record a new duet track for a future project. "Me and Em talked about something today," the Canadian rapper told MTV on the red carpet event. "We might need that to happen."

Drake and Eminem were joined by Lil Wayne and Travis Barker when performing at the Sunday ceremony. While the Blink-182's member was playing the drum, Eminem and Weezy rapped "Drop the World" before then Drake switched it to "Forever" verses.

Teen sensation Miley Cyrus is stepping up her efforts to help victims of the Haiti earthquake - she's raising money by selling the dress she wore to Sunday night's, January 31 Grammy Awards. The 17 year old stepped out on the red carpet in Los Angeles wearing a teal-colored gown by Herve Leger.

And she's decided to put her fashion-forward frock on internet auction site eBay.com to raise money for charity efforts in Haiti, which was devastated by a massive tremor in January. Cyrus admits she is desperate to help in any way she can - because she has been deeply affected by the troubling scenes in the Caribbean country.

Keith Urban has apologized for appearing to encourage fans to illegally download his music, insisting he misspoke during a recent awards acceptance speech. Urban won favorite male artist at the People's Choice Awards on 6 January 2010, and thanked members of his fan club, Monkeyville, as he took to the stage.

Praising fans for promoting his music online, he said, "I don't even care if you download it illegally, give it to your friends, I really don't care." The remarks sparked outrage among the music industry - but now Urban has offered up an explanation and he's adamant he does not support the practice.

Another sneak peek at "Clash of the Titans" has been made available for viewing pleasure through a new international trailer. Only sharing few new footage, the video debuted by IGN gives a preview to Sam Worthington's Perseus, the son of god with the heart of a man, who embarks on a mission to save the world.

"Clash of the Titans" is a modern version of the 1981 Greek mythology film. It revolves around Perseus. Helpless to save his family from Hades, he volunteers to lead a mission to defeat the vengeful god of the underworld before Hades can seize power from Zeus and unleash hell on earth.

On "The Bachelor" this week, Vienna got to stay while Corrie went home. The 23-year-old wardrobe consultant was the 21st girl who did not get a rose from Jake Pavelka, for a reason he only knows. In the rose ceremony, she was pitted against Vienna who has been placed as the 'villain' this season.

Corrie actually had a lot of opportunity to get to know Jake this week since she earned a one-on-one date. They went to a park and rowed boat down the lake before moving on to a science center. Unlike in the other dates that week, Jake did not kiss the girl. During dinner Corrie said she is reluctant to move in together with her boyfriend until they get married. Jake said it was not a problem to him and he respected her for that.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is adamant she hasn't given her boyfriend Jamie Kennedy a deadline for a proposal - insisting the couple won't "rush" into marriage any time soon. The actress sparked rumors of an imminent wedding last year after she mentioned in an interview that she wanted to be engaged by summer 2010.

She said, "By this time next year, if we're not planning something, then there's a situation." Her former "Ghost Whisperer" co-star was subsequently rumored to have popped the question to Hewitt onstage during a comedy show, but the couple denied the reports. Top-notch producer Rodney Jerkins would love to see Lindsay Lohan entering recording booth with Lady GaGa for a joint track. "I can pair them up," the music maker said over the weekend at the Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party. "I would love it. I would love to see what could happen."

Ricky Gervais has confirmed he's considering resurrecting his role as boss from hell David Brent in a one-off special for the U.S. version of "The Office". The British funnyman became an overnight sensation after his hit show was aired in the U.K., and made annoying office leader Brent an iconic TV character.

Although his series finished after two seasons, the storyline lived on in the American adaptation, which sees Steve Carell play hated boss Michael Scott. "Mad Men" star Christina Hendricks dreads Hollywood's awards season - because so many fashion designers refuse to help the curvy star find an outfit for the red carpet. The busty redhead recently won an apology from a fashion blogger after a New York Times critic blasted her choice of gown for the Golden Globes last month.

Hendricks admits she always finds it hard to dress for high profile events as so many fashion brands refuse to associate themselves with larger ladies. She tells Britain's Glamour magazine, "It is difficult come award season and I need to find a gown to walk down the red carpet in, and there are only size zeros and size twos available. Then it becomes downright annoying. Because all these designers are saying, 'We love "Mad Men", we love Christina, but we won't make her a dress.'"

Summit Entertainment has shared other looks at Robert Pattinson in "Remember Me" by releasing a batch of new images. Making its way out via Kinopoisk, most of the photos expose the lead actor whose face is bruised. Still, he is seen enjoyably playing alongside Emilie de Ravin in one picture.

In related news, Gossip Cop recently reported that "Remember Me" will be premiered in New York City on March 1, but the exact location has not been known yet. About the special screening which is almost two weeks before the film's release in the U.S., the site explained, "Because Pattinson is working on 'Bel Ami' in Europe and can't go back and forth, 'Remember Me' will have it's big red carpet at the same time he's doing its press junket in the Big Apple."

"Star Trek" actor Zachary Quinto is reportedly set to swap space travel for the New York stage in Steven Spielberg's upcoming biopic of composer George Gershwin. The "Heroes" star is said to have been handed the lead role in the latest picture from the director's Dreamworks studio.

The movie will tell the story of the famous songwriter who set up more than a dozen Broadway shows with his brother Ira. Gershwin died in 1937 at the age of 38 following surgery to treat a brain tumor.

A judge has denied a request for a restraining order against Paris Hilton from a man who has accused the socialite of "numerous sexual assaults." Ramiro Benitez filed papers at Los Angeles Superior Court on 27 January 2010 asking for a temporary court order to keep the heiress away from him.

In the documents, obtained by TMZ, he alleges the blond has threatened him both sexually, physically and financially, although the details of his claims were not clear. A judge denied Benitez's request for a temporary restraining order, pending a court hearing on 16 February 2010.

When "Lost" wraps up the sixth season this summer, it would be the last fans would see Matthew Fox on television. The actor has spread the word that he is not returning to the small screen because he would like to focus on feature films, theater, work behind the scene and family.

"I won't be doing any more television," the actor told Us Magazine at the special screening of "Lost" in Waikiki Beach, Saturday, January 30. He added, "I've done two six-year shows, about 300 hours of television. I'm done with that." In fact, Fox is thrilled that "Lost" is finally over. He told Britain's Live magazine, "I want a new life - I am thrilled Lost is finally over. I've spent five years as Dr. Jack Shepherd."

Akon's "Oh Africa" music video has been premiered on January 31 night in coincidence with the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. Featuring Akon and Keri Hilson, it showcases vibrantly-colored African visuals and has cameos from football players Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba as well as 16 young music artists from around the world.

"The whole aura of it is so fun, the color, the painting and the drums," Akon commented on the video shoot. "It brings out all the cultural parts of Africa you can ever think of and it doesn't even seem like a video, it seems more like a work of art that just happens to be a video.
