Robert Pattinson Doesn't Feel the Need to Be Role Model

Having many fans and being considered as ladies' man, Robert Pattinson insists he doesn't consider himself as a role model or even feel the need to become one. OceanUP cites the British heartthrob as telling Frida magazine, "I don't feel that I have to be a role model for the fans. That I have to change my way of living in anyway."

About his statement, he explains, "It's not like it is for Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, in Harry Potter, who have positive roles. I play a vampire, and I don't think there's many who expect goodness of them." He jokingly adds, "I am supposed to be evil, haha!"

David Archuleta 'Still Waiting for the Right Moment' for His First Kiss

Pop singer David Archuleta, who has sung a number of love songs, has no hesitation to publicly admit that unlike many other guys at his age he is "still waiting for the right moment" for his first kiss. "I think so many people want to rush things, they want to rush hanging out, they want to rush making out, and then it's like they don't even know the person they're with," so he shares his perception about first kiss to Seventeen.

He goes on talking about some points he knows about girls and guys in common. "I think girls get a bad rap for being emotional all the time. But I think a lot of guys are too. A lot of my guy friends, they really feel things deeply," he says.

Franz Ferdinand come out bringing a music video for their new song "Ulysses". In the video, frontman Alex Kapranos is seen wandering aimlessly around the town, seemingly to be overwhelmed by his boredom.

While chanting "I'm bored/I'm bored", Alex picks up the phone and calls someone. At some point, the scene is cut with a capture of the band playing the song in a narrow bedroom. It also features Alex getting himself into a washing machine.

'Ray Romano' Returns to TV With 'Men of a Certain Age'

Submerging himself from the TV world for nearly four years, Ray Romano is ready to tackle another primetime series. The actor who claimed his fame through the long-running "Everybody Loves Raymond", will star in TNT's "Men of a Certain Age".

It is described as a midlife-crisis drama comedy that explores the friendship of three college buddies in their '40s. Romano will take the role as Joe, accompanied by Andre Braugher ("Thief") as Owen, and Scott Bakula ("Enterprise") as Terry. Script is written by Romano in collaboration with Mike Royce who penned several episodes in "Raymond".

Seth Rogen-Starrer 'Observe and Report' Added to 2009 SXSW Film Fest. Line-Up

Before opening wide in the U.S. on April 10, "Observe and Report" will be having its world premiere at the 2009 South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Conference and Festival. On Monday, January 12, the SXSW Film Fest. has announced that the comedy movie from "The Foot Fist Way" director/co-writer Jody Hill will be filling the centerpiece slot on Monday, March 16.

Starring Seth Rogen, Anna Faris and Ray Liotta, the comedy movie follows a deluded, self-important head of mall security named Ronnie Barnhardt in his effort to be real cop and win his dream girl's heart. When the mall is struck by a flasher, Ronnie seizes the opportunity to showcase his talents. But his pursuit of glory creates a war with Detective Harrison of the Conway Police. Now, he must not only catch the flasher, but get him before the real cops do.

Isla Fisher tells Allure magazine some details of her planned nuptials to Sacha Baron Cohen, her longtime partner and father of her daughter Olive Cohen, as she informs the publication's February issue that they are going to get married. "We are going to get married, really, really, even more now than ever. We have been talking about it and we have been very close, but it has been difficult to plan," so she reveals.

Relating her celebrity status to her willingness of having a private nuptials, Isla confesses, "It is very important to me to have a beautiful ritual celebrated with all my family and friends, and to feel part of a community." She adds, "And when you are in the public eye, to keep that private and to make it happen without it being really visible is really difficult."

Following the news saying that he will explore his singing talent by dropping rock album, Lil Wayne reveals he is indeed no longer doing a rap. "I ain't rapping no more," the former member of rap group Hot Boys tells MTV.

Wayne furthermore says, "I'm singing ... I'm about to get some dance moves. I gonna get Chris [Brown] to teach me some sh--." He then adds, "I'm f---in' with y'all. I'm keeping it coming."

Melissa George Confirms Exit From 'Grey's Anatomy'

Dr. Sadie Harris apparently won't stay at Seattle Grace Hospital for longer period of time in the hit drama series "Grey's Anatomy". The bisexual character's depicter, Melissa George, has said that she quits from the show at her own request. "It was my choice," she told EW's Michael Ausiello. "My last day of work is Tuesday."

George's character was introduced back in November 2008, in a four episodes deal which was later extended to another four because she receives warm welcome from the audience. While other sources say that George never intended to go beyond the four, the actress told Ausiello during the Golden Globes after-party on Sunday, January 11, that she is doing "something else" as the reason of the exit.

The next one hour of "24" has been given a preview. Taking place between 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. of the seventh day, the episode sees Jack taking the matters into his own hands. Meanwhile, Renee Walker copes with a volatile investigation and Larry Moss is forced to keep a close eye on his team.

After a two night premiere, "24" which is starring Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer, will return to a regular airing slot on January 19 at 9/8c. Returning on TV screen after a year of delay due to writer's strike, "24" averaged 12.5 million viewers in its 8 to 10 P.M. slot on Sunday, January 11. It is a little under the November premiere of its TV movie "24: Redemption", and 20% less than the sixth season premiere in 2007.

"Gossip Girl" actress Taylor Momsen shows the world her "stunt woman" skills as she has been videotaped jumping over cars, leaping over men, and even swinging from a pipe hanging from the ceiling of a parking garage in a bid to avoid the throng of paparazzi following her. The video was tapped last week as she was leaving an elevator after a work-out in New York City.

By the time the elevator's door opened, Taylor was greeted by a group of photographers who immediately pointed their cameras to her and asked her several questions. Feeling annoyed by them, she ran down the staircase and quickly made her way to the parking lot by jumping from the staircase.

Jadakiss Thinks 'Letter to B.I.G.' Might Be Corny for 'The Last Kiss' LP

"Letter to B.I.G.", Jadakiss' new song which serves as a soundtrack in movie "Notorious", may not be included in his upcoming third studio album "The Last Kiss" because the rapper thinks the single might be corny for the effort. "Groovey Lew, when I was getting the production for [my new] album, he was like, 'You should do a letter to Big on the new album.' I was like, 'That might be corny, Groov,'" so he tells MTV.

Though feeling reluctant to list "Letter to B.I.G." in his new effort, Jadakiss admits he is tempted to do a remix for the song. He claims, "I was flirting with it. But it's nothing fabricated on there. ... I might do a remix, throw The LOX [D-Block] on there, maybe some of the Junior M.A.F.I.A. or Hov. We'll see how it go."

'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Up for Third Cycle

Old Faces Could Be Seen in 'Scream 4'

While earlier reports suggested that "Scream 4" may be far from fruition, it seems that the next installment of the horror thriller franchise is still moving on. Bloody-Disgusting recently came up with a report, suggesting that several of the original main characters, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, would make their returns.

However, since this feature project is intended to be a younger version of the "Scream" movies, those three will only make cameo appearances. Campbell, Cox and Arquette, who all have starred in the previous three "Scream" films as Sidney Prescott, Gale Weathers and Deputy Dwight Riley respectively, reportedly are in negotiation for the cameos. Nonetheless, there are yet words on the possible cameos from Dimension Films.

It has just been announced that country star Taylor Swift will do some ratings boost up for "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". Swift who also stars in the upcoming "Hannah Montana: The Movie" will visit the show to do a cameo in an episode which air date is not yet revealed.

According to the press release, she will play Haley Jones, "a teenage girl whose family manages a seedy Las Vegas motel". The synopsis is read, "Over the course of a year, Haley goes through a series of changes that have tragic consequences." "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" could be having a powerful warrior of their own to face their newest enemy, Devastator. According to IESB, the Autobots will have "their own answer to the evil Devastator in the form of Superion".

Explaining about the new Autobots, IESB detailed that Superion is made out of five Aerialbots; leader Silverbolt, small but fierce Airazor, easily distracted daydreamer Fireflight, aerial strategy expert Skydive and reckless dive-bomber Air Raid. The five teammates form Superion to destroy any Decepticons they encounter and protect any innocent bystanders nearby.

In the short post, it is written that the Welsh singer and her longtime partner Gavin Henson name their son Dexter Lloyd Henson.

"Gavin and Charlotte have chosen the name Dexter for their new baby boy," the post read. "In keeping with Henson family tradition, Dexter will also have the name Lloyd as a middle name."

Hilary Duff to Star in Her First Primetime Series, 'Barely Legal'

As her new TV venture, Hilary Duff will play a character which is based on a true life person, Kathleen Holtz. NBC have signed her to be the main cast of "Barely Legal", a comedy about an 18-year-old who passes the notoriously difficult California bar exam and becomes the youngest attorney ever made in the state. The story is based on the life experience of Holtz who passed the exam in 2007.

Duff signed a deal with NBC in November 2007 for a comedy which will be produced by Universal Media Studio. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show is developed by actor Rob Morrow who is also executive producing. A pilot is being penned by Elisa Bell whose credit includes the big screen movie "Little Black Book". No production date has been suggested.

John Travolta, his actress wife Kelly Preston, and their 8-year-old daughter Ella Bleu Travolta, have all penned a thank you letter addressed to "The People of Ocala", thanking them for the outpouring support they have offered to the family in the wake of Jett Travolta's death. The letter was sent to the Ocala Star-Banner on Monday morning, January 12 by Travolta's attorney, Michael McDermott.

"The enormous amount of love, support and condolence we have received from this community has been most humbling," the Travoltas wrote on the beginning of their letter. "Comforting words, thoughts and prayers of Ocala's citizens have made an impossibly painful situation, a little less painful."

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" won't be focused merely on the growing darkness. In an interview with Herald Sun, the adventure fantasy's lead actor Daniel Radcliffe suggests that the movie is expected to balance between the darkness and the comedy.

"I think the thing we certainly tried to do in this one was strike a balance between the darkness,'' the-19-year-old insists. "I mean, the one thing when I read the script I could always yearn for was more darkness and more of that real intense stuff, because I enjoy doing that more, but hopefully this time we have struck a balance between that darkness and a certain comedy in this film."
