Sneak Peek to Ryan Seacrest's 'Momma's Boys'

NBC's new TV reality show "Momma's Boys", where "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest serves as its executive producer, has been available to peek. Through a brand new clip and a behind-the-scene video, posted below, it is revealed that the upcoming TV show will center its story on a group of mothers who must help choosing the perfect women for their complacent sons.

The clip, which works as a promo of the new show, shows three male contestants and their mothers meeting 32 women. It also features the interview sections with the three mothers, and between Ryan and his mother, Connie Seacrest.

"Grateful" for their Best New Artist Grammy nomination, Jonas Brothers said they are "honored" with it. Sharing their feelings with MTV News at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, moments after they were mentioned as one of the coveted awards' nominees, the threesome was seen all smiling.

"When you start in a band as an artist you say, 'One day, I'll be nominated for a Grammy.' It happened, and we're just so honored," Nick Jonas was quoted as saying. He then quickly added, "As young guys, we know that this is a privilege, and we do appreciate that."

'Dragonball' Trailer Possibly Moved Back Again

Those who are waiting for the release of "Dragonball Evolution" trailer may have to wait longer. Contrary to the previous rumor that the promotional video may be attached to "The Day the Earth Stood Still", Dragonball Movie Blog claimed their inside source suggested that the trailer may not be finished in time.

Of the matter, Dragonball Movie Blog quoted their source at the 20th Century Fox, "We had hoped to finish it in time for that delivery but it looks like it may be debuting later now. Still waiting to hear for sure." Sounding off similar response from Fox, Reelz Channel insisted that a source at the studio has confirmed "the Dragonball trailer debut has indeed been pushed back, and that a new date has not yet been determined."

Ciara to Be Featured on Victoria's Secret Catalog

Rumor has it, R 'n' B singer Ciara is about to be recruited as a new model for Victoria's Secret and will possibly be featured on its catalog. MediaTakeOut broke the news Wednesday, December 3, claiming in a report on its site that the music star is expected to sign a deal "soon."

Citing its most "reliable snitches," the gossip site stated both Victoria's Secret and Ciara will start working together "as early as possible next year" when "a number of the current model's contracts expire". Ciara reportedly is very happy about her future partnership with the brand.

Video Premiere: 'Inkheart' Movie Soundtrack

A music video to "Inkheart" soundtrack, performed by Eliza Bennett who plays Meggie Folchart in the film, has been premiered. It features Eliza sitting behind a piano desk strumming some riffs. In another scene, it shows her singing the song in a parking lot with her co-star Paul Bettany, who lands the part as Dustfinger, skateboarding around her.

Based on Cornelia Funke's novel of the same name, "Inkheart" revolves around an adventurous story of Meggie, a young girl whose father has a secret ability to bring characters from books to life when he reads them aloud. Starring Brendan Fraser as Meggie's father Mortimer Folchart, Jim Broadbent as Inkworld creator Fenoglio, Helen Mirren as Meggie's great aunt Elinor Loredan, and Andy Serkis as the antagonist Capricorn, the fantasy movie is scheduled to hit the U.S. theaters on January 23, 2009.

Nearly a week to the theatrical release of "The Day the Earth Stood Still", three brand new clips from the sci-fi classic remake have made their way out. Exclusively released by MTV, the snippets highlight on alien messenger Klaatu, microbiologist Helen and her son Jacob.

The first clip displays the scene where Klaatu tells Helen about the reality mankind is facing, claiming that the planet is dying and the only way to save it is by getting rid of human race. The second one portrays how Klaatu escapes an American military facility where he is being interrogated, while the last one presents the scene where Jacob argues to Helen that men should stand up and fight for survival.

In an updated news about the sequel to "Transformers", Transformers Live Action Movie Blog reported that a potential reshoot of the action fantasy film may be done, and the trailer could be coming out along with "The Day the Earth Stood Still".

On the reshoot rumor, Transformers Live Action Movie Blog noted that their source KevKev has found an article about the possible reshoot in the November 28 edition of The Antelope Valley Press. Parts of the article read, "The Autobots and the Decepticons rolled out to the Antelope Valley last week, returning to Edwards Air Force Base."

Jennifer Hudson's Estranged In-Law Officially Charged With Murder

Jennifer Hudson's estranged brother in-law William Balfour has, on Tuesday, December 2, been officially charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of the actress-singer's three family members. He, additionally, was also charged with one count of felony home invasion. The handing down of the formal charges has been confirmed by Tandra Simonton, spokeswoman for the Cook County state's attorney's office.

Meanwhile, William's attorney Joshua Kutnick testified he has talked to his client who insists he is innocence in the case. "It is scary as hell; he's charged with terrible crimes that he adamantly contends he's not guilty of," Joshua said in a statement. "He's exhibited to me, at least, the patience to let the process unfold."

Running Time of 'Watchmen' Shortened

"Watchmen" won't be having a 2 hours and 43 minutes running time anymore. Coming up with the latest update on the film's length, director Zack Snyder and his producer wife, Deborah, have stated that the running time of the comic adaptation movie has been shortened, though the final length of the movie has not yet been approved by the studio.

Addressing the matter in a telephone interview with Sci Fi Wire on November 19, Deborah said, "We're getting really close. We're at two hours and 35 minutes." Zack then added, "The movie's pretty long...compared to '300', which was an hour and 58 minutes. The director's cut [of Watchmen] is about three hours and 10 minutes long. It has even more than the theatrical version, as far as the detail that gets even closer to the graphic novel."
