Steven Seagal to Star on A and E New Series

Famous martial actor, Steven Seagal, will return to acting. It has been reported that the action hero actor has signed a deal with A & E network to star in a new reality series revolving his life in law enforcement.

The new series where the 56-year-old actor will star in is entitled "Steven Seagal: Lawman". Featuring Seagal and a team of deputies investigating crimes, it also focuses on Seagal's off-duty ventures, including musical performances and philanthropic efforts in Jefferson Parish and New Orleans. The airdate of Seagal's new series is still to be determined.

Chris Brown Eyes Duets With Madonna and Coldplay for Upcoming LP 'Grafitti'

Grammy-nominated R 'n' B singer Chris Brown is eying a collaboration with Madonna, whom he claims as his dream duet, for his upcoming album "Grafitti". Besides, he also reveals his desire to work together with Coldplay for the effort, which is planned for 2009 release.

On the red carpet at the 36th annual American Music Awards (AMAs), held Sunday, November 23 at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre, Chris told the press, "It's going to be my stepping stone from Chris Brown to superstar." He didn't give further details on his upcoming album though.

On-the-Set of Beyonce Knowles' 'Diva' Music Video

On November 22, Beyonce Knowles filmed a music video in support of her new song "Diva" in downtown Los Angeles. She was seen donning a biker jacket and a unique pair of glasses. On one of the video scenes, she blew up a car next to her by throwing a cigar onto the car.

"Diva" is a song produced by Beyonce herself teaming up with Sean Garrett, the same man who helped Chris Brown making single "Run It!". The track appears on the second disc of her third solo studio album "I Am...Sasha Fierce", which has been in the U.S. stores since November 18.

Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus has landed a part in "The Spy Next Door". Joining Jackie Chan in the new action comedy feature film, he will trade his Robby Ray Stewart character in "Hannah Montana" with a CIA agent role, as The Hollywood Reporter claimed.

In the movie, he will also share screen with other recently signed actors, George Lopez, Amber Valletta and Katherine Boecher. This role won't be Cyrus' first feature film credit as he has taken on minor role in 2001 mystery movie "Mulholland Drive" and 2004 Kim Basinger-starring film, "Elvis Has Left the Building".

Preview of "Cold Case" episode 6.10 has been released. On the preview, it can be seen that the Philadelphia Police Department team will be dealing with a scandal and a murder case of an African-American politician.

In the next episode entitled "Street Money", detective Lilly Rush and her team try to re-open a murder case which has happened in 2005. The case deals with the killing of a young and promising African-American politician who was determined to get rid of drug dealers who prey on young kids in lower-class neighborhoods.

Jason Lee and Ceren Alkac 'Just Got Married'

A confirmation has come from Jason Lee that he and his girlfriend Ceren Alkac have tied the knot. "My wife is Australian," Life & Style Weekly quotes the actor as telling Sydney Sun-Herald newspaper. "And she is my wife now 'cause we just got married and you can report that!"

Jason, nevertheless, doesn't mention on when and where exactly he married Ceren. The marriage confirmation itself comes nearly five months after he fueled wedding speculation following him being seen in line for a marriage license at the Norwalk, Calif. courthouse in late June.

This year's stage of American Music Awards is glittered with grand performances from many big names. Christina Aguilera, Coldplay, Mariah Carey, Jonas Brothers, Natasha Bedingfield, Rihanna, and Taylor Swift are some of the performers rocking Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on November 23.

Opened with medley performance from Christina singing such hits as "Beautiful", "Keeps Gettin' Better" and "Dirrty", the show continues with other appearances from Leona Lewis singing "Better in Time" and Pink performing "Sober". Other musicians playing at the star-studded event are New Kids On The Block, Beyonce Knowles, The Pussycat Dolls, and Kanye West among others.

USA Today has got an exclusive clip of the forthcoming Notorious B.I.G. biopic movie, "Notorious", and now the clip has come out. Focusing on the relationship between B.I.G. and his future wife, R 'n' B singer Faith Evans, the snippet gives out the time B.I.G. asks Evans could he be the man who makes her laughs.

Apart from exposing the clip, USA Today also included an interview with Jamal Woolard, the actor who gets the chance to portray the legendary hip hop artist whose real name is Christopher Wallace. Of the essence of the film, he stated that it "is about manhood", explaining further, "It's about a boy turning into a man, and that is Christopher becoming The Notorious B.I.G."

"I told my boyfriend, I was like, 'Edward Cullen ... I mean, find me a vampire, you might be done ...!' He's handsome," so Hilary says. It is not known how Mike responses to her joke.

'Coraline' Finds Adventure in Newly-Released Stills

Three more stills of "Coraline" have been making their rounds. Released by Laika and Focus Features via Latino Review, the new images display Coraline in three different situations. One of the pictures shows her sitting at a dinner table while trying to get her parents' attention, while another one takes a look at her with Wybie as they are drawn into a circus. The last one which is posted on the news photo present Coraline in the portal to the parallel world.

Based on Neil Gaiman's international best-selling book, this 3-D animated stop-motion fantasy film follows the story of a young girl who unlocks a mysterious door connecting her real world to another with a parallel reality. Desperate to find a world better that the one she's been living in, Coraline is about to learn the true meaning of an old say "Be careful what you wish for" as she faces evil in the world which serves as an alternate version of her life.

Artist of the Week: Paramore

Paramore released their sophomore studio album "Riot!" in June 2007. Dealing with what they called as "an unbridled outburst of emotion," the record landed at number 15 on Billboard Hot 200 Albums chart and at number 2 on U.K. Rock Albums chart, selling a total of 1,040,000 copies across the U.S.

Following their success with "Riot!", Paramore were signed by Catherine Hardwicke, director of "Twilight", to write songs for the vampire movie soundtrack. One of the songs they worked on is titled "Decode" and peaked at number 12 on Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart. Meanwhile, the soundtrack album for the romantic drama movie itself made its debut at number 1 on Billboard Hot 200 Albums chart, having sold about 164,700 copies in its first week in the U.S. stores and added another 107,000 copies in its second week on sale.

A series of new images from the forthcoming sci-fi remake, "The Day the Earth Stood Still", has been unearthed. Put forward by IESB, the nine fresh photos take a closer look into the characters, including Klaatu, Helen Benson and her stepson. They also spoil out some of the action sequences to be expected.

The movie tells the story when an alien named Klaatu comes to New York City to meet the leaders of the Earth and warns them about the impending danger mankind are facing. Taking the form of a human being, he eludes capture to gain better understanding of the Earth's dominating inhabitants. And as governments and scientists race to unravel the mystery behind his appearance, a microbiologist and her stepson get caught up in his mission and uncover what he means by being a "friend to the Earth".

First Season Finale Recap of 'True Blood'

Season one of "True Blood" officially wrapped up on Sunday, November 23 and the episode leaves some questions hanging for the second season that is expected to air in the midseason. Arlene finds his collection of sex films, where one of them includes Maudette, and Sam smelling his vest and coming to Sookie's rescue.

Following a stunning opening day of "Twilight" on Friday, November 21, Summit Entertainment have come out with a great news for "New Moon", the sequel to the romantic vampire drama on Saturday, November 22. In a press release, the studio announced that the second "Twilight" movie are officially en route.

Though mentioning no further detail, such as the cast, director, release date or an actual start of production date, about the movie based on Stephenie Meyer's second novel of her Twilight series, the press release included Meyer's comment on the "New Moon" adaptation. "I don't think any other author has had a more positive experience with the makers of her movie adaptation than I have had with Summit Entertainment," she said. "I'm thrilled to have the chance to work with them again on New Moon."
