Showtime Picks Up a New Series Entitled 'Camelot'

Showtime has picked up a new series project which will be titled "Camelot". The network will make a collaboration with BBC to develop the new series which is described as a contemporary retelling story of Camelot's true history.

Production team that will work for the series including Michael Hirst and Morgan O'Sullivan, "The Tudors" creators. Hirst who also has several credits on "Elizabeth" movie (1998) and the sequel "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" (2007) will be responsible as the series' executive producer and the scripts' writer along with O'Sullivan and Douglas Rae.

Baz Luhrmann's 'Australia' Ending Altered

"Australia" will no longer be an epic tale drama with a tragic ending. News.com.au reported that filmmaker Baz Luhrmann has given in to 20th Century Fox's pressure to change the conclusion of his epic and romantic action adventure by agreeing to rewrite the ending and eliminate the tragic part.

Reportedly, after intense discussions with studio executives, the director of "Moulin Rouge!" was persuaded sometime last week to alter the ending for a more uplifting one. The persuasion for the ending's alteration comes following test screenings which draw negative responses to the movie's more-than-three-hours initial cut.

Miley Cyrus Hates Sharing Bathroom With Men

Miley Cyrus reveals another bad experience beside cleaning the toilets when she was still 11 and having her wig burned, telling Top Of The Pops magazine she can't stand sharing the bathroom with men because they are untidy. "I'm never getting married because I can't take sharing a bathroom!" the publication quotes her as saying.

Miley goes on telling her story, "There were five of us on the tour bus recently and we all shared one bathroom. I shared it with three boys, included my dad. It was horrible. I'd have all my make-up out and someone would put their toothbrush on top of it - that's disgusting!" Worse, "my brother used my toothbrush to comb his eyebrows one day. I was like, 'This is getting seriously ridiculous. I'm getting my own bus because I can't handle this!'" she adds.

Preview of 'True Blood' 1.11: To Love Is to Bury

With only two episodes left in season one of "True Blood", HBO have teased the next Sunday, November 16 episode of the vampire drama series. The video posted below contains two promos, the first one is the actual sneak peek to the episode 1.11, while the one following is said to be a fan's version.

Through the video, it can be seen that in the next episode entitled "To Love Is to Bury", Sookie and Sam are getting closer to one another with the absence of Bill in Sookie's life. The two also try to squeeze out information behind Sookie's recent mystic visions from philandering police officer. In the meantime, Bill fulfills the conditions of the tribunal's sentence although he and Eric are left astonished over Jessica.

New Clip of 'The Mentalist' 1.06: Red Handed

The clip entitled "Card Tables" features one of the scenes in the next episode of "The Mentalist". As apparent through its title, the episode "Red Handed" will have something to do with casino.

Patrick Jane's mentalist skill will be tested one more time to investigate a murder case. The murder happens to the manager of operations for a resort casino named James Meier. The victim's right hand is found straddling in the borderline between California and Nevada.

Beyonce Knowles' New Track 'Ego' Leaked in Full

The full version of Beyonce Knowles' new single titled "Ego" has been leaked in full. This mid-tempo song is reportedly made as the second single lifted from the R'n'B singer's third studio album and it will not be included in the standard version of the album but rather, it will appear on the deluxe edition, "I Am...Sasha Fierce [Deluxe Edition]".

This BlacElvis-produced song will join other tracks that support Beyonce's November 18 release in U.S., others being "That's Why You're Beautiful", "Hello", and "Scared of Lonely". Meanwhile, the standard edition will include songs such as "Halo", "Disappear", "Broken-Hearted Girl", "Ave Maria", "Smash Into You", "Satellites" and many others including first single "If I Were a Boy" and released-single "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)".

Rapper Nelly Talked About Ashanti, Said They're 'Serious and Having Fun'

Dating R 'n' B singer Ashanti for quite a long time, it wasn't until recently that Nelly broke his silence about their relationship, saying their romance is 'serious.' "That's the thing between me and her, we just like having fun," the hip-hop artist told People at the Lavo club in Las Vegas, where he was celebrating his 34th birthday recently.

"I think it's always serious when you can hang with a person continuously and [still] have fun," Nelly continued saying. He didn't go into further details though.

Rock outfit Death Cab for Cutie have released a music video to support the latest single pulled from their May effort, "Narrow Stairs". The band have released "No Sunlight" as the third single and unleashed a music video that correlates to the song's title.

Beginning with a boy waking up at 8:36 P.M., the video sees him cycling around his town where he greets neighbors and friends who do day activity in the dark. The camera's view uses night vision except in the beginning and the end of the video where the boy is in his bedroom.

In the next episode of "Brothers & Sisters", Justin Walker will be a matchmaker for Saul Holden. Entitled "Going Once Going Twice", Justin who in the last episode had some trouble on his relationship with Rebecca Harper, will make a plan to give Saul an unexpected candidate to go for a date with.

The episode will revolve around the effort of Kevin Walker who tries hard to overcompensate for his recent pay cut to Scotty Wandell. The man, who just begins to realize the reality of politics, will take Nora Walker's dream house away from her as a gift for Scotty.

Director McG's Name Floating Around 'Wonder Woman'

While many still speculate on who should play the titular character in "Wonder Woman", an interesting tidbit about possible movie director for the film comes forth. Sparking rumors on the subject, IESB has mentioned that Warner Bros. want "Terminator Salvation" helmer McG to direct the superheroine feature project.

Though bringing up the 40-year-old's name to the speculation plate, IESB noted that it is still unclear whether the film director has been signed or he is one of the potential candidates or even he is campaigning for the role. In addition, the studio have yet to send out any confirmation or denial regarding this rumor.

Miley, who prefers to play it coy when asked about her alleged romance with Justin, simply tells Nancy her relationship with the hunk is "very good" and she's "very, very happy" with it. "He's very cute, by the way," Nancy tells the "Hannah Montana" star about what she thinks of Justin. To that, Miley says, "Thank you very much, I think so, too."

'Savior', New Joint From Alicia Keys

"Savior", a previously-unreleased song from Alicia Keys has surfaced. The mid-tempo song will be released in the revamped version of her latest album "As I Am", due out in U.S. markets on November 14 under the title "As I Am: The Super Edition".

The new song will join another unreleased track called "Doncha Know (Sky is Blue)" in the deluxe set along with "Another Way to Die", the theme song where she collaborates with Jack White of The White Stripes for new Bond's film "Quantum of Solace".

'Terminator Salvation' Video Exposes New Types of Terminators

Horror Movies has found a brand new featurette of McG-directed "Terminator Salvation". Essentially a video interview with production designer Martin Laing, the featurette has exposed many spoilers about the much awaited action thriller from where the story is taking place to the new types of Terminators. Many never-before-seen footage cut off from the latest of the "Terminator" franchise have also been included in the video.

Starring Christian Bale as John Connor, the man whose fate brings him to lead resistance army, "Salvation" is set in post-apocalyptic 2018. The story centers on Marcus Wright played by Sam Worthington as this stranger, whose last memory is of being on death row, joins Connor in a journey that leads them to the uncovering of the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind by Skynet and its army of killing cyborgs.

The pics that show her wearing only bra and exposing her naked bottom to the camera reportedly are intended to be sent to her boyfriend Rob Kardashian, the younger brother of celebrity socialite Kim Kardashian.

Setting the record straight on the circulating nude pics of Adrienne, her spokesman Jonathan Jaxson has issued a statement, explaining, "The photos that have surfaced of Adrienne Bailon were stolen from her laptop over a week ago at an airport in NY and sent to several media outlets." Jonathan reveals further, "These photos were taken in private. Adrienne will be pursuing legal action against the person or person's sending these private photos out."

"American Idol" runner-up David Archuleta has been working on his first studio album, the self-titled "David Archuleta". Slated for release on November 11 in the U.S., the effort will include at least twelve new songs and a cover version of Robbie Williams' 1997 song "Angels".

The first single coming off the forthcoming LP, "Crush", was produced by Emanuel Kiriakou and written by Jess Cates teaming up with Dave Hodges and Kiriakou. Since making its worldwide debut in September, "Crush" garnered first-week download sales of more than 160,000 hits. It also peaked at number 1 on Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart and at number 2 on Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart.

LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian, and Rosanna Arquette Star on Lifetime's Original Movie

Lifetime's upcoming project is called "Nora Roberts' Northern Lights". The network's original movie will star the Grammy-Award winner LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian from "Ugly Betty", and Rosanna Arquette from "Desperately Seeking Susan".

Rimes will play as Meg Galligan, an independent and feisty bush pilot with her own demons. She becomes a love interest of Cibrian's character, Nate Burns, a former Baltimore policeman who starts a new life as a chief of police in Lunacy, Alaska. Meanwhile, Arquette will play as Rimes' mother, Charlene. The film is executive produced by Peter Guber and Stephanie Germain.

'The First Avenger: Captain America' Inked Deal With Director Joe Johnston

Moving on with "The First Avenger: Captain America", Marvel Studios have found the director for the future superhero movie project. On the matter, The Hollywood Reporter claimed that 58-year-old Joe Johnston, who is known for his works in "Hidalgo" and "October Sky", has been brought aboard to direct "Captain America".

About Johnston, Marvel's Kevin Feige gushed, "This is a guy who designed the vehicles for 'Star Wars,' who storyboarded the convoy action sequence for 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'." He then added, "From 'Rocketeer' to 'October Sky' to 'The Wolfman,' you can look at pieces of his movies and see how they lead to this one."

A fire will destroy not only a venue, but also a desperate housewife's life. In the new episode of "Desperate Housewives", everyone has gathered at a club to see the guys play in the annual "Battle of the Bands" when a fire erupts, threatening the lives of those in attendance. Some will fall as a hero will rise.

Cast Dana Delany spilled last month that somebody may not survive the incident, saying "We end the episode with someone not making it out of the fire." Furthermore, creator Marc Cherry also said that this is going to be a huge episode. "It's one of the biggest special-effects episodes we've ever done, actually more difficult than the tornado," he said, adding "The nightclub gets set on fire. It's connected to the mystery, and it's going to be a huge episode."

In support of the nearing theatrical release of "Twilight", two B-Roll videos, a Comic Con behind-the-scene footage and a series of new photos from the Catherine Hardwicke's highly anticipated vampire drama have been posted by Collider. While the Comic Con footage shows a compilation of behind-the-scene footage of the cast being introduced for the panel, the two B-Roll videos present the footage from the on-set shooting of the movie with the focus on the two main characters, Bella and Edward.

Adapted from Stephenie Meyer's bestselling novel of the same name, "Twilight" is a modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Revolving around seventeen-year-old Isabella 'Bella' Swan, her mysterious vampire classmate, Edward Cullen, and their unlikely romantic relationship, the movie follows the two as they discover acceptance and love from one another, but are forced to fight for Bella's life when Cullen's nemesis, James, comes to the town and sets his eyes on Bella.

British Acts Dominating 2008 World Music Awards Winners List

Several artists from around the world gathered in Monaco on Sunday, November 9 to witness the crowning of the best in music at the 2008 World Music Awards. Full Trailer Details of 'Star Trek' Emerge

Though the first trailer of "Star Trek" won't be hitting the big screen until "Quantum of Solace" makes its debut in the U.S. theaters on November 14, several Paramount people apparently have seen it sometime last week and two of them have shared the trailer details to AICN. In their reports, both of the tipsters reveal that the promotional video will present teenage Kirk in trouble, Spock growing up, and quick cuts of spaceships in battle.

The trailer is said to be opened with a shot of mid-60's Corvette convertible tearing down the road across country side. Hotly pursuit by policeman, the muscle car heads toward a cliff. However, before it goes off, the driver, who is later on identified as young James T. Kirk, leaps out from the car. The footage then is followed by a scene where older Kirk is riding a hover bike with a voice over saying, "You never found yourself here, you never really fit in. What you choose to do with you're life is up to you."

After giving the first taste of his "It's a New Day" video on "The Oprah Winfrey Show", will.i.am releases the full music video via Dipdive. Directed by Ben Mor, the video presents also the Black Eyed Peas member's celebrity friends such as bandmate Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie, Kanye West, Kerry Washington, Olivia Wilde, and Jonathan Schaech among others.

"It's a New Day" is will.i.am's third pro-Barack Obama song that was made immediately after the Democratic leader's win on the November 4 election. Since it's a political-charged one, the video also contains flashes of notable politic figures such as Obama on election night, Abraham Lincoln and Harriet Tubman. There's also the footage when he was interviewed by CNN and appeared as hologram from Chicago's Grant Park where he described the scene at Obama's coronation.

'Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa' Gallops to Box Office Top Slot

Opened in 4,056 theaters across North America starting on Friday, November 7, "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" steals the box office crown from "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" over the weekend. The sequel of 2005 hit DreamWorks animation comedy, "Madagascar", has shot to the top of three-day weekend box office, earning $63.1 million.

Outgrossing the first "Madagascar" movie by 35 percent, the tale of stranded zoo animals on their way home has become the biggest weekend bow since "The Dark Knight" collected $158.4 million back in July. To top that, it also scores the biggest debut for a CGI cartoon movie since "The Simpsons Movie" and is the second-best premiere ever for a non-summer animated movie right behind "The Incredibles".

Jonas Brothers Promote Their New Book, the Video

Jonas Brothers are having a new book to be released later this month. Titled "Burning Up, On Tour With the Jonas Brothers," the set reportedly is the first and only authorized book written by the brothers.

In a more-than-two-minute promotional video for the book, which can be watched after the jump, Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas say the book will give fans a peek of their lives behind-the-scenes and their on-stage performances around the world. It, moreover, also includes 200 never-before-seen photos of the threesome.
