Preview of 'Heroes' 3.07: Eris Quod Sum

Peter is forced to work side by side with his once-foe and later a brother by blood, Sylar, in the next episode of "Heroes". In "Eris Quod Sum", Sylar is encouraged by Angela to save Peter from Pinehearst and they later on team up to help Angela who is a mother for both.

The October 27 episode will also see evil Mohinder attacking Nathan and Tracy who initially came to him to seek help. Nathan and Tracy also try to save Maya and other subjects held captive by Mohinder. A body carried on a stretcher is hinted as a lifeless Maya.

'Knight Rider' for a Full Season

NBC's new series, "Knight Rider", is ordered for a full season. It has been announced that the network asks nine more additional scripts to continue the production of the series.

"Knight Rider" is a remake from its original series in 1982 and 2008 television movie of the same title. The pilot which was aired on September 24 received mild rating and its October 11 episode got 6.9 million viewers.

The drama in the town of Tree Hill continues as the CW network gives out a sneak peek into the next episode of "One Tree Hill". The episode 6.08 is entitled "Our Life is Not A Movie or Maybe" and it tells the story when the Scott brothers are experiencing success on what they do.

While Nathan is offered a spot on a major basketball team, Lucas decides to turn his book into a movie. When Lucas decides to ask Lindsay to be a part of the film though, jealousy starts to build up in Peyton. On other story, Mouth's new intern clashes with Millicent. The episode will be aired on Monday, October 27, at 9/8c.

Preview of 'Gossip Girl' 2.08: Pret-A-Poor Jenny

Chuck has got his share of spotlight on last night's episode of "Gossip Girl" and it's time to turn it to Jenny. On October 27, the Waldorf House of Design intern will get a certain push from someone new in an episode called "Pret-A-Poor Jenny".

Agnes, played by "The O.C." Willa Holland, appears as a model in the house of design who befriends Jenny and motivates her to live her life on the edge. Agnes will encourage Jenny to stand up for herself at work and reportedly bring some negative effects on Jenny's life.

Details on Paramore's Live Set Unveiled

Paramore have confirmed that their upcoming CD/DVD containing the band's live taped performances during their "Final Riot! Summer Tour 2008" will be entitled "The Final Riot!". Taped and recorded during their nearly non-stop tour, the double CD/DVD package will present the band's extraordinary year with live renditions of hits such as "Misery Business" and "That's What You Get".

Scheduled to come out on November 25 in the U.S., the DVD will also feature the band in their most intimate moments on tour with exclusive interviews and full access behind the scenes on the bus, at soundcheck as well as at rehearsals. On top of that, an exclusive documentary called "40 Days of RIOT!" will be included on the forthcoming CD/DVD.

Soundwave of 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' Won't Be a Pick Up Truck

Soundwave's concept car in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" remains a mystery. Previously debunking the rumor that Soundwave will be an ice cream truck, Roberto Orci has slammed down another proposed concept car. In TFW2005's message board, the sequel's screenwriter wrote down, "Soundwave is not a pick up truck..."

Addressing other "Revenge of the Fallen" issue, Orci hinted that the "Fallen" in the title may refer to either a robot or a synonym for the defeated side. He also revealed that fans can expect fights, like the Freeway Brawl between Optimus Prime and Bonecrusher which has been featured in "Transformers", promising the new ones will be taking more time. Additionally, on the removal of Tidal Wave from the sequel, Orci explained that the writers "couldn't make it work for the story".

Vince Vaughn Working on Comedy for Small Screen

Vince Vaughn will executive produce and develop a show for TV network FOX and and 20th Century Fox TV studio, together with his sister Victoria Vaughn. No title has been suggested yet for their series, but it is known that it will be a single-camera comedy about two young men adjusting to life post college years.

The Vaughns are reportedly in final negotiations with FOX for the half-hour pilot which release date is still a question mark. Vince will be assisted by sibling scribes Jim and Steve Armogida who had credits in "Grounded for Life", "My Family" and the short-lived "Courting Alex".

Country Singer Tim McGraw Co-Writes Children's Book

Willing to share his experience as a father of three young daughters with any other fathers out there, Tim McGraw co-writes a children's book with writer Tom Douglas. The book, titled "My Little Girl," tells the story of a father who spends a fun day with his little girl, Katie, stopping by the farm, laying in the grass, gazing at the clouds and playing on a tire swing, the Associated Press reports.

McGraw, who openly admits he enjoys spending time with his daughters; Gracie Katherine (b. 1997), Maggie Elizabeth (b. 1998) and Audrey Caroline (b. 2001), states he doesn't always do what the girls love to do, like shopping at the mall or getting pedicures. "It's something that as a father you kind of have to sacrifice what you want to do, because boys do what you want to do. If I want to go to the farm and shoot guns or ride four-wheelers in the mud when it's 40 degrees ... the girls aren't really interested in doing that," he explains.

'Zack and Miri' Bring 'Porno' to L.A. for Premiere

On Monday, October 20, Hollywood saw a considerably eventful evening with the Los Angeles premiere of "Zack and Miri Make a Porno". Rolling out red carpet in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Weinstein Company have come out with a special screening of the Kevin Smith's R-rated comedy.

Though the event wasn't highlighted with any unique setting, it still saw many celebrities walking by the signature special event carpet. Among the attendees were some of the cast ensemble, Seth Rogen, Elizabeth Banks, Justin Long, Brandon Routh, Traci Lords, Craig Robinson, Jason Mewes, Katie Morgan and Ricky Mabe, and the director/writer Smith.

'In Treatment' Gets New Patients, Hope Davis and John Mahoney

HBO drama series, "In Treatment", will have other two patients for its psychotherapist, Dr. Paul Weston. Hope Davis and John Mahoney will play roles on the series's second season as Dr. Weston's patients who suffer different kinds of mental illness.

In the series, Davis will play as Mira, a high-powered malpractice lawyer and Dr. Weston's former patient who blames the psychotherapist for her being single and having no children. It will be her first appearance on TV series since she worked for ABC's drama "Six Degrees" in the 2006-07 season. The actress is well known for her roles in some movies such as, "About Schmidt", "Next Stop Wonderland", and "American Splendor".

Recently blogging about her free time and making playlists of sad songs, Taylor Swift has just unveiled a backstage video diary which documents her playing with snake and spending time with band Def Leppard in Nashville. It, moreover, also tracks her pre-show rituals and some casual time off.

Former Destiny's Child's singer, Michelle Williams (II), has debuted a music video to promote her new love single "The Greatest". Starting to roll with a capture of her donning a black tube gown and singing the song on her bed, the video mostly shows Williams' deep love for her boyfriend. Her on-bed appearance is sometimes cut with another scene where her man is on the field coaching his football players.

"The Greatest" is a ballad song listed on her third solo studio album "Unexpected", which has been in stores since October 7 in the U.S. "I'm making a statement with this album - Michelle is feisty. She's not the quiet one. She's not at church 24/7. She's not on the altar sprinkling blessed oil everywhere. She has fun," she speaks of her latest record.

Who Dies in 'Gossip Girl' Narrowed Down

Talks of death have been circling "Gossip Girl" in the past few weeks and Kristin Dos Santos of E! has come out with a more specific hint on who will take the fate. The scoop has narrowed it down to a male character whose death will have an effect to others.

According to E!, the character "is a third wheel whose death just might clear the way for a long-awaited couple to get together" The mystery will be unveiled in an episode airing November. Previously it was hinted by EW that the possible male characters who may die are either Chuck's father Bart, Nate, or Rufus. But if the scoop is to be believed, then the most matching character to die is the first one since Lily and Rufus can be together in his absence. Furthermore, E! also hinted that Rufus and Lily will get closer in the coming episodes.

Giving more on the 52-year-old's character in "Miss January", reports claimed that her 1980s cinema siren part is actually an '80s porn star named Monica Velour.

While Cinematical pointed out that Cattrall's character has been said to have "no gag reflex", MTV noted that the Velour is now known by the name of Linda. In "Miss January" itself, the character has been described to be a 50-year-old single mother who is in the middle of a child custody battle.

Rumors are abuzz that Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady are about to tie the knot soon, after they reportedly plan a wedding reception at a New York restaurant. Page Six breaks the news, claiming Gisele "is in talks with party planners at the legendary Tavern on the Green in Central Park to plan the celebration."

"They were recently there, and Brady had a long chat with (American football star) Joe Namath," Page Six was told by a source. Spokespersons for Gisele and Tavern on the Green have declined to comment on the reports.

Alongside Taylor Swift, Jonas Brothers are scheduled to perform at next year's RodeoHouston. "I think we've found a real good partnership with the Disney acts, beginning with Hilary Duff, then Miley Cyrus and now the Jonas Brothers," Leroy Shafer, the rodeo's chief operating officer, says.

Nick Jonas and his brothers are expected to play on March 8 at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas while Swift will take the event's stage on March 20. "We're thrilled about this presentation," Shafer shares his excitement concerning the upcoming stars-studded show. "To bring both of these acts in is just a tremendous coup for us. It's been our purpose throughout the years to provide affordable family entertainment to Houston."

The popularity of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" has transcended to another language. The Harpo production has been made available in Spanish, through Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) and close caption, which was launched on Monday, October 20.

"We are delighted to be providing the Spanish-language community with an opportunity to become part of the 'Oprah' show viewing family," Harpo Productions, Inc. President Tim Bennett said in a statement. "We'll be able to reach this audience more directly with programming that is relevant, informative and entertaining."

Guns N' Roses Leaker Pleading Innocent

Kevin Cogill from California, who has been arrested by police officers for copyright infringement over Guns N' Roses' songs in August, has pleaded not guilty for his action. The 27-year-old blogger appeared in Los Angeles' federal court on Monday morning, October 20 to enter his plea.

Assistant U.S. attorney Craig Missakian says, "In the past, these may have been viewed as victimless crimes. But in reality, there's significant damage." However, if Cogill is convicted posting the band's songs for profit, he will face up to three years in jail and a $250,000 fine. Things will get even worse if the band decide to pursue civil charges, which mean that the fine can end up to $150,000 for a song. Thom Mrozek, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office, says that no date has yet been set for the trial.

Two-time James Bond actor, Daniel Craig, has been indeed considered to be the leading man in "Thor". During the "Quantum of Solace" press event in Beverly Hills on Monday, October 20, the 40-year-old actor admitted to IESB that he has been approached by Marvel Studios to take on the superhero role.

Noting that he had been in the studio's short list as Thor, he was quick to point out that he has turned down the part. Also, the Jive Records' artist will reunite with her old choreographer, Australian dancer Wade Robson, as a creator for her stage shows. "Britney reached out to me and said she wanted to get the old team back together, so we'll go into rehearsals in January for a March start," Robson said.

Full Nominees List of 2008 Gotham Independent Film Awards Announced

On Monday, October 20, IFP has announced the contenders for the 18th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards and Lance Hammer-directed drama "Ballast" has dominated the nomination list, taking in 4 separate nods. The movie, which has won the 2008 Sundance Film Festival's Dramatic Directing Award for Hammer, is nominated for Best Feature, Breakthrough Director, Breakthrough Actor and Best Ensemble Performance.

In the category of Best Feature, "Ballast" will be up against Courtney Hunt's "Frozen River", Charlie Kaufman's "Synecdoche, New York", Thomas McCarthy's "The Visitor" and Darren Aronofsky's "The Wrestler". Meanwhile, for the Best Ensemble Performance category, the film's cast that include Micheal J. Brooke Burke Resumes With Jitterbug on 'DWTS' Despite Injury

Brooke Burke resumed with her dance performance on last night's episode of "Dancing with the Stars" although she had just injured her foot on Sunday, October 19 afternoon. Brooke and her dancing partner Derek Hough were the first to perform jitterbug, the same style who got Brooke into a false land while doing a front flip.

Brooke's right foot was swollen and given ice but as a precaution, she was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Monday morning when she was determined to have "severe bruise". A spokesperson from ABC told People on Monday, "She's a little sore, but she rehearsed today and she feels ready to dance tonight."

'The Spirit' New Featurette Gives Out the Origin of the Superhero

A new featurette of "The Spirit" has arrived. The promotional video contains many footage from the comic book adaptation film as well as discussion on the movie and the two major characters with director/screenwriter Frank Miller. In it, Miller talks about the first time he gets to know about this Will Eisner's comic book and what Eisner has contributed to the American comic books.

The featurette called "The Origin of The Spirit" also sees Miller explaining the nature of Spirit before he becomes the superhero and what power he possesses after he mysteriously returns from death. He also speaks out about Spirit's foe, the Octopus. Aside from that, the 51-year-old director also reveals that he initially refused the idea to direct the movie branding it as "a suicide job", but soon enough he changed his mind and won't let anybody else lays hand on the project.

Gillian Anderson Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Gillian Anderson and her longtime boyfriend Mark Griffiths welcome a baby boy, the actress' representative, Kelly Bush, exclusively confirms to People magazine. The infant, named Felix Griffiths, was born on October 15 in London. He weighed in at 6 lbs., 15 0z.

Felix joins the pair's 1-year-old son Oscar who is going to turn 2 on November 6. Anderson also has a daughter Piper Maru, 13, from her marriage to television art director and production designer, Clyde Klotz.
