Before LionsGate Films' "Repo! The Genetic Opera" gets its world premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival sometime in early July, a new trailer of the musical thriller has been premiered. Providing a background story for the viewers, the trailer gives out a much better look into the film than the teaser.

Compared to the earlier released teaser, the video footage manages to bring an original taste as well as stunning footages. The compilation of clips combines comic book styling and snippets from the film. It is also focused on the epidemic hitting the planet and Shilo Wallace, the girl who is trying to find the cure of her rare blood disease sickness.

Veteran singer, Prince caught himself in another legal battle as this time he decided to sue a Norwegian record company, C+C Records over copyrights infringements. The 50-year-old singer was upset because the company released a 5-CD cover album of his songs titled "Shockadelica: A 50th Anniversary Tribute to the Artist Known as Prince" without asking an approval first.

The company did actually send Prince a copy of the record but it was after they dropped about 5,000 copies to the market. Knowing that his songs have been illegally used, the singer asked that the cover album is pulled out of the market and all copies of it to be destroyed.

Compared to the other much anticipated movies, "Star Trek" may be one of few that has done a pretty good job in guarding its plot line and other little details that may hint any spoiler to the film itself. Though many fans and sci-fi movie lovers are wondering how the eleventh film will look like, not much has been really shared. Still, amidst the anticipation comes a flicker of light with a report from Harry Knowles of AICN sharing what he has seen of the prequel and what should be expected.

Getting a special chance to get a look into some of "Star Trek" footages which are still in the editing room, Harry indicated that from about the 7 minutes of different clips showed, the unfinished footages have presented a promising look for the film. "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" is still weeks away from its theatrical release, but the talks about the third movie have apparently begun. In an interview with "Hellboy" director Guillermo del Toro at the 34th Annual Saturn Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 24, it was revealed that the filmmakers behind the action adaptation movie have discussed about "Hellboy 3".

Unveiling the plan for another follow-up movie for the big and red superhero, del Toro confessed that he might tackle the work after he is finished with his J.R.R. Tolkien's adaptation project, "The Hobbit". It means that the third film might come out in 2012. When talking to Collider about the matter, the filmmaker of "Pan's Labyrinth" theorized that since "Hellboy" was released in 2004 and its sequel gets 2008 screening, the third installment should come in four years time. New unpleasant news comes from American Idol third season winner, Fantasia Barrino as EW.com reported that the singer has been dropped from her management team, 19 Management. Moreover, according to the website, the creative difference that recently emerged between Fantasia and her management is the cause of the break-up.

The legal battle saga starts. Verne Troyer a.k.a. "Mini-Me" has filed a federal lawsuit, worth $20 million, against TMZ for posting the clip of his sex tape on its site and airing it on TMZ TV.

Troyer filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles Thursday, June 26, alleged TMZ violated his rights to privacy and publicity, infringed upon his copyright and trademark and misappropriated his name and likeness. He thus is seeking damages and as well asking an injunction prohibiting the wide spread of the video.

So far, though many videos and pictures from the filming set of the upcoming "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen", including those from Princeton set have generated more and more speculations about what the sequel might be about and about the possible robots, they do not really help much in giving idea about any of the film's plot lines. Through the trailer, viewers will be introduced to Despereaux Tilling, a unique mouse living in a rodent's village under a castle, and from it, they can also see that Despereaux is different from his kind either it is from his appearance or from his way of thinking. From what is outed by the compilation of clips, it seems that "Tale of Despereaux" shared similar idea with Academy Awards-winning animation "Ratatouille" in the sense that the two movies tells the story of mice who are not afraid of human and strive to achieve what they believe they are meant to be.
