The Golden Globe Award-winning for his role in television series "Spin City" Charlie Sheen is said to be joining the horror film project for Twisted Pictures. According to Bloody-Disgusting, the 42-year-old former husband of actress Denise Richards has been set to take the leading role in "Tortured (2008/II)".

In the thriller, the actor who played himself in the comedy movie "Being John Malkovich" is going to portray Craig, a vengeful father who seeks to avenge his son's death. Further, Sheen who is the son of actor Martin Sheen has appeared in various films, including "Hot Shots!", "Scary Movie 3" and "The Big Bounce". He recently lent his voice for New Line Cinema's computer-animated film "Foodfight!" out in theaters April 11.

As Paramount Picture acquired the feature film rights to the adaptation of Douglas TenNapel's graphic novel "Monster Zoo", it was said that the man behind the blockbuster series "Spider-Man" Sam Raimi is going to act as the film's producer. According to Variety, the 48-year-old filmmaker has committed to produce the action adventure film via his Buckaroo Entertainment.

In producing the film, Raimi will be partnering with his cohort Josh Donen as well as "The Spiderwick Chronicles"'s Ellen Goldsmith Vein. Concerning the film itself, "Zoo" centers on a young boy who finds out that the zoo in his town has a mutated, caged animals. He and other teenagers then team up to stop the critters from destroying the world.

Although down one member, The Pussycat Dolls are still keeping their tradition strong by inviting an outsider to perform a raunchy performance with them. The troupe, initially a burlesque group, will welcome "The Hills" reality star Audrina Patridge to join the now-five piece singing and dancing group.

Their performance is set at Luxor Hotel's PURE nightclub, Las Vegas on March 28. Although it is still not clear what part she will be playing, Patridge reportedly will don the same skimpy outfits like the other girls. The act is arranged in coincidence with the celebration of "The Hills" new season that air on March 24.

While talking about her character in the latest "The Mummy" sequel "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor", actress Maria Bello let out that there will be two more Mummy sequels. According to MTV News, the Golden Globe-nominated actress for her role in "A History of Violence" revealed that she has been signed for the movie franchise new trilogy.

The actress, who replaces Rachel Weisz, the original depicter of Evelyn Carnahan-O'Connell, stated that though she didn't have the information when the next two sequels are set to be developed, she know for sure that there will be another Mummy film. "I don't know when, but it's going," she commented. "[There will] absolutely be 'The Mummy 4.'" Further, the 40-year-old actress suggested that the next location may take place in the Amazon.

Much-penned with her latest release, Kelly Clarkson is set to change her music color in the next album. The American Idol's first winner will be working with producer and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, who had penned Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love", on the materials for her fourth studio album.

Tedder said that the new set from Clarkson will feature "big choruses" and "heavy drum programming". On the selection of sound, the songs will be influenced heavily by Garbage's music while a song will be a mid-tempo rock ballad that features an experimental bridge inspired by Mozart.

Though has been reported earlier that "Superman Returns" helmer Bryan Singer won't be back to direct the superhero sequel, it has been said that the filmmaker has agreed to return as the director of "Superman: The Man of Steel". According to Empire Online, the 42-year-old has confirmed the information himself.

The movie news site reported that Singer has revealed that he joined the sequel project once again to direct the action flick. He confessed, "I'm just getting back with writers after the strike. We're just in the development phase. I'm starting to develop a sequel...with the intention of directing it." Promising that the sequel would be better, he said, "From frame one, it will be unrelenting terror! All those teenage girls who found the movie and mooned over James Marsden or Brandon Routh? Well, I'm going to wake them up!"

Is an outspoken vegetarian and animal-rights activist, Paul McCartney is lending his face to PETA's new "I Am a Vegetarian" ad campaign. In the ad he did for the animal-rights organization, the former Beatle could be seen wearing a t-shirt sporting the words "Eat No ..." and a picture of a cow.

He was quoted in the ad as saying, "Many years ago, I was fishing, and as I was reeling in the poor fish, I realized, 'I am killing him - all for the passing pleasure it brings me.' Something inside me clicked. I realized as I watched him fight for breath that his life was as important to him as mine is to me." The veteran singer went on declaring, "I am Paul McCartney, and I am a vegetarian."

Suspense movie fans behold. The feature trailer of the upcoming thriller featuring Liv Tyler "The Strangers" has been released online by Rogue Picture. It contains over two minutes compilation of scenes from the film directed by filmmaker Bryan Bertino.

The video footage of the hair-rising film opens with the romantic scene which showcases glimpses of champagne, rose petals and lighted candle through out the room. As the romance between Kristen McKay played by Tyler and James Hoyt portrayed by Scott Speedman builds up, the suspense begins to unveil as a sudden knock on the door and a haunting voice disturbed the couple.

Is known for his role as neurosurgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd (Dr. McDreamy) on the medical drama "Grey's Anatomy", Patrick Dempsey is making a real-life contribution to health care. The hunk made an appearance at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine on Monday, March 10 to announce plans for a new cancer center to be named in his honor.

The cancer center is about to be named the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing. The inspiration for it comes from Patrick's mother Amanda Dempsey who fought ovarian cancer, successfully being treated at the hospital and is now cancer free.

It seemed to be near the truth when reports surfaced on Mark Ronson being booked by Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to dee-jay at Suri's second birthday party. The British musician has responded to this and laughed off the report, saying that it is simply "ridiculous".

Ronson for one thing, was linked to the Hollywood couple since he DJed at their 2006 wedding after-party. "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard," Ronson spoke to Ryan Seacrest on his breakfast radio show in L.A.. "I DJ'd Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding and I guess somebody just thought it would be a funny story to make up."

Is a regular on having plastic surgery, Katie Price has at last decided to give it up. The busty glamour model and TV personality claims she's happy with her body after having a breast reduction and nose job and thus has decided that she will not have any more plastic surgery.

"I won't have any more surgery now. That's it. I'm 100% happy," Katie said in a statement. She added, "My body isn't perfect - I know I need to get to the gym and get some abs, but I'm just so lazy. I like the way I look at the moment. I can still get my kit off without being airbrushed!"

Rock band Hanson have revealed that they are working on their new album, the follow up to the 2007 "The Walk". The three brothers are still pretty much inspired by their charity venture to Africa last year, which was also the mastermind behind "The Walk", and are planning similar approach on their new set.

The band visited the poverty-stricken areas in South Africa and Mozambique to help raising awareness on AIDS, give out proper shoes for the kids, and also donated proceeds from the sales of single "Great Divide" to AIDS treatment and research. The experience has somehow settled in that it drove them to lean on more serious things for their music.

The full-length version of Danity Kane's "Damaged" music video has been officially premiered on MTV's TRL yesterday, March 11. The song is the first single from the all-girls group's upcoming album "Welcome to the Dollhouse".

The clip opens with futuristic scenes where the girls dance to the upbeat tunes and intercepted with a scene where they operate a guy's 'heart'. "Welcome to the Dollhouse" is slated to be released on March 18. "Damaged" was chosen as the first single over "Pretty Boy" through fans voting.

Posh Spice Victoria Adams really is having a posh taste too. The singer and mother of three young sons has splashed out 100,000 pound sterling on a brand new Porsche 911 - complete with her initials on the wheels and headrests.

Ice Cube is juggling his movie roles with the launching of his eight studio album, "Raw Footage" which is also his first in two years. The album may only come down the street in Summer but the rapper plans to celebrate it by cybercasting his concert at Austin's South by Southwest festival on Saturday, March 15.

The album includes collaborations from Musiq Soulchild, Nas, Scarface, WC and Dub C while its production involves those from Fred Wreck, Maestro, Emile and more. It will be released under his independent label, Lench Mob Records, on June 17. The first single "Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It" was released in January and so was its music video.

A first look to Britney Spears' new video has been made on-line. The pop singer turns a superheroine clad in skin tight suit for the clip of "Break the Ice", the third single from her 2007 album "Blackout". She, however, makes no attempt to appear in the video, for it is an animated one.

The transformation takes set in the future where the animated Britney is portrayed as a blonde and slim superhero in blue suit. According to The Sun, the idea of having her animated came from Britney herself. She told the label bosses that she wants the clip to be based on her "Toxic" music video that saw her being a superspy and sexy stewardess.

Hulk Hogan's cheating drama continues to escalate. The wrestler is said to be desperate to have a "wrestling successor" before he turns 60 that he wants to have a baby with his mistress, daughter Brooke Hogan's best friend Christiane Plante.

Concerning Hulk's intention to have a child with Christiane to be his successor, a source close to the WWE champion was quoted as saying, "Hulk is yearning for a wrestling successor and he wants one before he turns 60." The source then went on adding, "His son Nick didn't wrestle and he wants a boy to continue his legacy. He said, 'I'm not finished having kids - I want another Hulkster'".

The highly anticipated music video from Lil Wayne's upcoming album, "Tha Carter III" has been released. "Lollipop", which music video has been previewed earlier this week, is the first single from the album which is due this April.

The video that has been circulating on-line is the rough cut. Universal Music has been keen on pulling the videos for copyright claim. The official premiere date is supposed to be later today (March 12) on BET Access Granted. According to Vibe.com, the BET version is supposed to contain featured artist Static Major saying "Ya'll ain't hear this one yet, this is fresh off the press. Janet Jackson was rushed to hospital on Monday night, March 10. The singer was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles with what was cited as "shortness of breath."

News of the singer's trip to the hospital was first reported by US Weekly. The ailment comes in the wake of some good news for the singer whose new album "Discipline" debuted atop the Billboard album charts last week.

Kanye West and his model girlfriend Alexis Phifer reportedly have been married in secret. They are said to have tied the knot last month in a private ceremony in Europe.

Report on their secret wedding was first reported by MediaTakeOut. The media outlet claimed to have heard the news from two different industry insiders, adding that "while we can't tell you who they are, we promise you that both are extremely reliable".
