Third 'Aliens vs. Predator' Film to Be Developed?

Despite the fact that "Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem" received bad raves from film critics, it has been rumored that there will be another sequel to the action thriller film. According to ShockTillYouDrop, the third installment of the alien wars movie series "Aliens vs. Predator 3" is most likely to be developed.

Shock reported that an insider at 20th Century Fox claimed that the third film is a "certainty at this point". The site also noted that the war will be continued in space as what the site has been reported back in December 2007. Whether the "Requiem" directors, the Strause brothers, is going to helm the next sequel or not is still unconfirmed.

Lindsay Lohan's Co-Star Joined Thriller Film 'Hippy'

The biology student in Lindsay Lohan-starring film "I Know Who Killed Me" Marc Senter is going to join the rehab darling in another thriller film "Hippy". According to Variety, the relatively new actor has been signed to star in the Chris Sivertson's feature film project.

Aside from "Hippy", Senter has also been tapped to play in "Ironclad". Despite the casting reports, it has yet to be known what parts to be tackled by the actor in both movies. Additionally, it is said that the two films will be shot later this year.

Video Premiere: Jewel Kilcher's 'Stronger Woman'

Jewel Kilcher or more known in the shorter form of Jewel, has given the right to her new music video premiere on PerezHilton.com on March 9. The pop singer who turns a country crooner in her upcoming album, has let out the clip for her brand new single "Stronger Woman".

The video reportedly was filmed in Nashville where she also worked on the country album. Jewel previously described the video as using "visual metaphors to portray how woman have in a way been responsible for binding and restricting themselves".

'Knocked Up' Helmer Reteaming With Adam Sandler

Judd Apatow, the director/writer/producer of the hit feature film starring Katherine Heigl "Knocked Up" has been reported to be signing Adam Sandler for his newest project. According to Variety, Apatow recruited the comical actor to star in his yet untitled comedy project "Untitled Judd Apatow/Adam Sandler Project".

Aside from tapping Sandler, the 40-year-old director has also cast in other familiar faces, Seth Rogen and Leslie Mann. Further, he will once again tackle the new project that is going to be co-produced by Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment as the helmer as well as the sole writer. It is also mentioned that the filming is scheduled for late summer or early fall.

Mariah Carey Angered NBC for Teaming With ABC

Bidding wars to have Mariah Carey's new album, "E=MC²", being promoted in TV networks turned out being such a big issue. NBC reportedly is furious over the singer, her manager Benny Medina and Carey's label Def Jam for giving the opportunity to rival ABC after all the demands are agreed to be fulfilled.

Carey allegedly was due to promote the album on NBC's "Today" show but Medina has given the right to ABC's "Good Morning America" instead. A source told Page Six that Medina initially agreed to promote it on "Today" if the network also promote her fragrance M by Mariah Carey, and give her a cameo role on their TV series "My Name Is Earl".

Two International Trailers of 'Speed Racer' Available Online

The studio that brought "10,000 B.C." and "I Am Legend" Warner Bros. Pictures have released two brand new international trailers of the upcoming family movie "Speed Racer". The trailers each last for about one and a half minutes and contain pretty much the same compilation of clips with different sequences.

The trailers showcase many never before seen footages from the highly anticipated film by the Wachowski brothers. The two video footages give out glimpses to the hard-core racing competition where a slightest mistake can cause a devastating result. Unlike the domestic trailer, these international trailers let out much of the animation parts from the film starring Emile Hirsch and Matthew Fox.

Jay-Z Heading to 50 Cent's G-Unit Records?

Label-less and open to ideas, Jay-Z is said to be joining 50 Cent as the artist under G-Unit Records. MediaTakeOut.com that came up with the report said that the rappers are negotiating to have the former Def Jam CEO running errands in the label established by 50 in 2003.

"(Jay Z) wouldn't just be coming on as an artist," as source at G-Unit said. "He'd take over a lot of the day to day running of (the label) ... 50 would then be free to focus on his music and other ventures." G-Units Records is an imprint of Universal Music Group and it has held a number of notable artists like Tony Yayo, Mobb Deep, Young Buck and many other.

Though confirmation from the studio and from his side has yet to be announced, it is reported that the 40-year-old is set to portray a courtroom bailiff. The will of the late actor Heath Ledger has been revealed. The 28-years-old actor, who died of an accidental prescription drug overdose earlier this year, filed a three-page will in his native Australia back in April 2003, leaving all his assets to his parents and sisters and nothing to ex-fiancee Michelle Williams and their 2-years-old daughter, Matilda Rose Ledger.

Details of Heath's will were made public Saturday, March 8 and it showed that he had not updated it since his relationship with "Brokeback Mountain" co-star Michelle Williams and the 2005 birth of their daughter Matilda Rose. Preview of Lil Wayne's 'Lollipop' Music Video

Lil Wayne took his fans behind the scene of his forthcoming music video, "Lollipop" which is a track from his upcoming album "Tha Carter III". A clip has been released, previewing the video that will make its premiere on BET's Access Granted on Wednesday March, 12.

As seen from the footage, the video was shot in Las Vegas with director Lee S. Harris and features the late singer Static Major. Static managed to shoot the video for "Lollipop" before his death on February 25 this year which Cause of Death is still determined but speculated as complication from surgery.

'10,000 B.C.' Ruled Weekend Box Office

The prehistoric epic "10,000 B.C." about a Mammoth hunter roaming to the end of the Earth to save his lover and his tribe from extinction has claimed the top spot on the North America weekend box office ended Sunday, March 9. The Roland Emmerich's drama adventure movie became the second Warner Bros' film following "300" to dominate the box office at the first weekend of March by grossing an estimated $35.7 million.

Despite its success of being the number one movie in North America, the Steven Strait and Camilla Belle-starring film was shy of the record-setting $70.9 million that "300" garnered in its debut weekend back in 2007 as well as of the $40 million or more prediction from some box office analysts'. The movie also came in behind other Emmerich's film "The Day After Tomorrow" which opened at $68.7 million in its first weekend in 2004.

Another child is on the way for Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Bozan Barroso. A representative for the actor confirmed the good news to People, saying "They couldn't be happier. They're so excited!"

The announcement comes after Damon and wife Luciana walked the red carpet together at London's Empire Film Awards Sunday, March 9 where she showed off a baby bump.
