Chris Pine Indirectly Gives Out 'Star Trek' Spoiler

The rumor that Spock might be traveling back in time in the new installment of "Star Trek" is more likely to be true after all. According to Trekmovie.com, the rumor has indirectly been confirmed by Chris Pine, the actor who portrays young James T. Kirk, when he came to Sundance Film Festival to promote his other film "Bottle Shock".

To Entertainment Weekly, the "Just My Luck" star revealed that he had a couple scenes with Leonard Nimoy, the actor playing older Spock. He said, "I've met Mr. Nimoy a couple of times. He's been on set and we have a couple of scenes in the film, which will be nice, and I'm excited for those."

Rap Mogul Snoop Dogg Renews Wedding Vows with Wife Shante Taylor

Going against media claims, the marriage of Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante Taylor is more than okay. The couple have on Saturday, January 12 renewed their wedding vows to mark their 10th wedding anniversary.

Snoop arranged a romantic ceremony attended by 200 guests to renew their nuptials at a friend's ranch just outside of Los Angeles. Shante who found the event as a total and complete surprise reportedly was simply told that she and Snoop would be going to a formal anniversary party.

'Atonement' Secured 7 Nods at the 35th Annual Evening Standard British Film Awards

Announced as the strong contender at the 2008 BAFTA, "Atonement" showed its domination on British film competition by leading the 35th Annual Evening Standard British Film Awards' nominations. On Monday, January 21, the classic British romance starring Keira Knightley and James McAvoy secured 7 nods, including Best Picture and Best Screenplay.

In the category of Best Picture, the rivals of Joe Wright directed-film include "Blue Blood", "Control", "Hallam Foe" and "It's A Free World". The film that was released on December 7, 2007 also received gongs in the Technical Achievement category for costume design as well as in the Best Actress and Actor categories.

The rap star, who was first rose to fame for his 2000 album "Back for the First Time", is teaming up with San Francisco Bay area restaurateur Chris Yeo, who already owns four California based restaurants, to open three restaurants in Atlanta.

Martin Sheen to Play Father in Jennifer Aniston's Romantic Comedy

The father of Hollywood actors Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen, Martin Sheen, has been signed to play in Universal Pictures' "Traveling". He is joining the romantic comedy's ensemble cast that includes Jennifer Aniston, Aaron Eckhart, Dan Fogler, Judy Greer, Joe Anderson and John Carroll Lynch.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the Golden Globe-winning actor will star as Eckhart's father. In the film, it is told that Sheen's character has a strained relationship with his son. In the meantime, Eckhart will portray the leading character who is a widowed self-help author, while Aniston is set to play Eckhart's love interest in the movie.

Following the bootleg version of "Star Trek" teaser trailer, the official teaser trailer of the sci-fi film has been released by Paramount Pictures. The official footage shows the teaser in high definition, thus obviously giving the fans clearer look into the video footage.

The teaser that last a bit over one minutes showcases clearly the ground construction of the U.S.S. Enterprise. Amy Winehouse was caught in the act. The troubled singer, whose husband Blake Fielder-Civil remains in jail for alleged assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, has secretly been tapped smoking crack at her East London home on Friday, January 18.

Britain's The Sun claimed to have obtained the pictures of Amy smoking crack and snorting other narcotic substances at around 5 A.M. last Friday. The Sun, moreover, also posted a footage on its Website that captured the British star smoking crack from a glass pipe, and then snorting powdered ecstasy and cocaine.

Kirsten Dunst in Talks to Star in 'All Good Things', Ryan Gosling Signed in

The Mary Jane Watson of "Spider-Man" series, Kirsten Dunst, is said to be in talks with Michael London's Groundswell Prods. to star in "All Good Things". Variety reported that the 25-year-old actress is in negotiation to play the lead character's love interest.

Set in the 1980s, the film focuses on the heir of a New York real estate dynasty who falls for a beautiful girl from the wrong side of the tracks. Their fairy tale romance ends when the girl disappears. The movie will mark Andrew Jarecki's directorial debut. Jarecki will also produce the film that is set to start filming in April on the East Coast alongside Marc Smerling and London. Further, Ryan Gosling has agreed to star as the lead character in the period love story/murder mystery film.

Carmen Electra's 'Maxim's Mardi Gras' to Start Production Late April

Carmen Electra's new comedy project "Maxim's Mardi Gras" will go into production soon. According to Variety, the Phil Dornfeld directed-film has been set to start the filming on April 29. The principal photography will take place in New Orleans.

Starring also Nicholas D'Agosto, Josh Gad and Brett Harrison, the Screen Gems' movie follows the journey of three best friends who take off for Mardi Gras in search of a real party. The script is written by Josh Heald, while the movie will be produced by Peter Jaysen, Zanne Devine and Josh Shader.

Brody will star as famed blues/R 'n' B record executive Leonard Chess, while Wright will be portraying musician Muddy Waters. In the movie focused on Chicago in the '50s, the two big names will be joining the cast of Columbus Short, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Cedric the Entertainer and Tammy Blanchard.

The actor was released from Glendale City Jail at 12:05 A.M. Monday, January 21 after completing his 48-days sentence for driving under the influence and a probation violation.
