Ethan Hawke No Longer Serving "The Countess"

One name is now missing from the core cast of thriller drama "The Countess" and that sadly turns out to be Ethan Hawke, Cinematical.com has exclusively revealed.

Confirmation on Hawke's departure comes out from the mouth of the flick's director and leading lady Julie Delpy as she sat down for an interview with Cinematical's Ryan Stewart, who learned that the actor is no longer expected to play Ferenc Nadansky, the husband of the titular character.

P. Diddy Penned a Heartbreak Song

P. Diddy is making a fortune out of his split with long-time partner Kim Porter. If Kim decided to do an interview to tell out on their break-up, Diddy preferred to express his feelings in a song.

The rapper penned a song titled "Through the Pain. aka Kim Porter" and had it debuted on BET's (Black Entertainment Television) "106 & Park" last Thursday (July 19). Sohh.com quoted a source describing the song as "how he's coming back. Basically it's like, 'You're putting me through hell.' "

Already lined up handfuls of big screen projects to do for the coming years, Joel Schumacher appears to have one more slot on the list to get filled in. The noted filmmaker is reported to currently be in talks to helm "Breaking News", a Gold Circle Films and Paramount Vantage remake of 2004's Hong Kong action movie "Daai si gin."

Directed by Johnnie To, the original spun its story when an ambulatory TV news unit live broadcasts the embarrassing defeat of a police battalion by five bank robbers in a ballistic showdown. A detective then discovers the hideout of the robbers on stakeout in a run-down building, but gets interfered by an inspector who decides to turn the stakeout into a breaking-news show in order to beat the media at its own game.

Confirming producer David Heyman's earlier remark on his involvement in "Yes Man", Jim Carrey has landed deals to topline the Warner Bros. Pictures comedy which will become his first priority on his busy schedule that has been amped up since his move to CAA.

Based on a memoir by British author Danny Wallace, pic will find Carrey playing a guy who aims to change his life by saying yes to absolutely everything that comes his way. It has been said that the flick is intended to present the old-school funnyman in the vein of his 1997 "Liar, Liar."

Bryan Adams is in the stage of having fresh cut tracks but no U.S. recording house to distribute the CD nor any name for it. The Canadian singer however, is taking it easy for he regards this one as a "quite personal record" that actually need not royalties.

Adams said that 12 tracks have been "coming out really well" and that "everything fits into a suitcase". Written for a couple of years during his tours, the tracks have been recorded in several countries like Denmark, Malta and Hungary. He said, "It's inevitable that some of this is gonna wear off on you. You travel around and you think about the things you do when you're traveling (and) it's going to wear off on what you write about."

Shemar Moore Sentenced to 36 Months Probation in DUI Case

The time has come for Shemar Moore to pay the price of his bad attitude. The actor, famous for his portrayal of Malcolm Winters in TV series "The Young and the Restless" (1994 – 2002), was sentenced to probation and community service in an alcohol-related speeding case.

Back on June 1st, Shemar was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol just after 1 a.m. after he was caught exceeding the 65 mph speed limit near Santa Monica Boulevard. He, as a consequence, was charged on June 22nd with driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or above.

Original members of Guns N' Roses are reportedly planning a huge reunion gig but ironically the only surviving member of the band, Axl Rose won't be there to add the excitement. Drummer Steven Adler announced that he will gather bassist Duff McKagan and guitarists Slash and Izzy Stradlin for a one-off performance.

Adler said, "I'll be down there with my band and Slash, Izzy [Stradlin], and Duff [McKagan] will be there too. It's gonna be great." Then he added the unlikeliness of Axl joining them, but confirming that a full reunion may happen in near future. "Axl and I spoke to each other in Las Vegas recently, and I know there's a chance. It's just too big. Whatever the Stones make when they play, we'd triple it. It'd be ridiculous not to do it. He can't be that goofy."

The New York Daily News reported that Film Finances Inc. of West Hollywood, a firm insuring movies to ensure they will be completed, has shelled out about $1.5 million so that the project could carry out its additional shooting in Paris and Prague. Though did confirm about the financial backup, a spokesperson for the company refused to unveil the exact amount, saying only "10 of 15 percent" of the 250 films insured each year need to be bailed out.

Not Again, Lindsay Lohan Busted on Suspicion of DUI

Say it isn't so. Lindsay Lohan gets into another DUI trouble. The actress-singer was arrested early Tuesday July 24th on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance and bringing contraband into a custody facility.

Her being booked by officers in Santa Monica was a bad news for us judging that it occurred only 11 days after she finished her 45-days rehab stint in Promises after which she voluntarily wearing an alcohol monitoring anklet to show everyone that she's sober.
