The 38th Annual GMA Dove Awards has given out its trophies to the rightful winners this year. Presented on April 25 at Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tenn. Aaron Shust and Chris Tomlin reign the event with multiple awards.

After winning several categories for his album "See the Morning" and for single that he co-wrote "Holy Is the Lord", Tomlin was named Male Vocalist of the Year and Artist of the Year. Shusts seized three big categories such as Songwriter of the Year, New Artist of the Year and also Song of the Year for "My Saviour My God".

Everything is not okay between Courteney Cox and husband David Arquette. Despite denial after denial of marriage problems, Jennifer Aniston accidentally spills the bean on the couple, telling UK's Heat Magazine they do have marital difficulties.

Aniston, who has been best friends with Cox since they starred in TV comedy "Friends" said, "They are having marital problems, but whatever happens I will be there to support my friend."

Set to get himself attached to another big screen project, Jim Sheridan is reportedly involved in talks to direct wartime drama "Brothers", which will be an Americanized version of Danish filmmaker Susanne Bier's 2004 effort.

Already hired David Benioff to pen the script, the project is said to tell the story of two brothers, one an officer in the Army and the other an ex-convict, whose lives are irrevocably changed as one tries to cope with the scars of war while his troubled younger brother becomes increasingly drawn to his sister-in-law.

Besides his singing career, LL Cool J is adding more into his acting resume. The hip hop star is in talks to play the lead role in a stage revival of Tennessee Williams' 1955 classic "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."

Per New York Post it is reported that LL is willing to secure the leading role of Brick, an alcoholic ex-football player whose father is dying of cancer, which was played by Paul Newman in the original film.

Jumping into the same path Larry the Cable Guy recently took, Jenny McCarthy has come onboard to nab starring role in "Witless Protection", a comedy flick that Parallel Entertainment Pictures is financing for Lionsgate to distribute.

Also being lined up with other names such as Eric Roberts, Peter Stormare, and Joe Mantegna, the beauty will portray the girlfriend of Larry's character. Filming is slated to start May 21 this year in and around Chicago with TV director Charles Carner helming from the script he himself wrote and Parallel's J.P. Williams also Alan Blomquist serve as producers.

Evans Blue that garnered attention through single "Cold (But I'm Still Here)", is in the making of sophomore effort. Leaving their old formation and taking a level higher, the Canadian based band aims to satisfy its fans and open up to a wider reception.

The band headed to The Pocket Studio earlier this March to put up the finishing touches of materials to be included in "The Pursuit Begins When this Portrayal of Life Ends". The initial aim was June but due to one thing or another they have pushed back the date to July 24. First single will circulate US and Canadian radio in mid May and immediately after, the band will hit the road sometime in late May or early June.

Still willing to bring some laughs to cinemas, Queen Latifah has given positive sign to topline "All of Me", a remake of the 1984 body-switching comedy which New Line Cinema is set to develop at its pit, The Hollywood Reported has learned.

The original flick, starring Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin, presented a story about a dying spoiled heiress whose soul flies into the body of a successful male lawyer. She, however, only gain controls on the right side of his body while he the left, causing friction and comedy.

While her other fellow celebrities would depend on the saying "cash in while you're hot," Britney Spears does the other way around. The troubled pop singer is trying to cash in while she's experiencing the down side of her singing career, planning to pen a tell all book.

Vanessa Minnillo is leaving MTV's Total Request Live (TRL), reports People.

For the former reason, Snoop took it from his experience when guest artist agreed to do everything with him but bail a show for another job responsibility. "You're left one-legged," he said. "Now it's time to show artists. Can you handle the whole weight? Do you got enough to do it on your own? Did you put yourself in a position where people love you for you - or for being associated with people? This record, I'm seriously ego-tripping like, 'I don't want you on my album. Nah, I don't need you.' "

Boldly bringing up the true story of horrifying tragedy involving a cult that occurred in Arizona back in 1993, filmmakers of "Bryan Loves You" is facing a threat from a group purporting to have connections to the actual cult portrayed in the movie.

Calling themselves "The Right Phoenix", the group sent a typed letter to Landau Motion Pictures' L.A. address, accusing that the story presented in the picture is "a direct assault" on them and demanding the studio to cease any progress on the project.

Ne-Yo who pushed back the release date and changed the name of sophomore album, revealed the track list in a showcase on April 24. He delivered some songs from tentatively titled album "Because of You" at New York's Arena.

As a warm up, the singer chose some hits from his debut set "In My Own Words" such as "Stay", "When You're Mad" and "So Sick". He then gave the audience the first taste of "Do You", a song from the new album that tells about his actual relationship with someone. The lyric contains the letter that she wrote to that woman who is now happily engaged and with a daughter.

Four well-known names in directing field this time are carrying out the same banner for sure. Variety has brought in news reporting that Chuck Russell, Deepa Mehta, Joel Schumacher, and Peter Cattaneo have all been picked up by Baldwin Entertainment Group to each work on a film for the studio.

Russell will take helming duties on "Mandrake", an action adventure based on the Hearts comic while Mehta is set to direct an eco drama simply entitled "Luna." Schumacher, in the meantime, will make action flick "1:30 Train" with Cattaneo directing a rom-com movie called "Indiscretion."

Keen to make progress on his HQ Pictures shingle, Tyrese Gibson is about to produce an action-thriller zombie movie entitled "Condition Dead" which is intended to be a no-holds barred zombie film in the vein of James Cameron's "Aliens."

Written by Dave Davis, the picture concerns on an elite team of government-subsidized zombie-hunters who are mysteriously ambushed by a viscous new breed of zombie. Genre veteran Patrick Lussier is attached to direct with Clint Morris and Rock Shaink both accompanying Gibson in taking care producing matters.

Seemingly going undisturbed in building his path on the big screen, "The Office" star Rainn Wilson has landed a starring slot in "Girlfriend Experience", a new comedy flick that DreamWorks is setting up at its pit.

Wilson, who brought up the project's idea, will play a lonely geek who, in an effort to make himself seem more desirable, hires a prostitute to pose as his girlfriend. Meanwhile, Mark and Brian Gunn will pen the script with Montecito partners Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock both producing.

Pop-rock act Crowded House added the excitement of their reunion with the announcement of new album. Under the title "Time on Earth", the first album in 15 years will feature the work of Dixie Chicks and Modest Mouse guitarist John Marr.

The Chicks helps in the writing of track "Silent House" which is also available in their "Taking the Long Way" album but in a different version. Marr penned the song "Even A Child" together with the band's frontman Neil Finn.

Finally turning back into drama genre, Julia Stiles is poised to topline "The Bell Jar" which she will also produce for New York-based company Plum Pictures, Variety has reported.

Based on Sylvia Plath's semi-autobiographical novel, the picture will see Stiles play Esther Greenwood, a young reporter who aims to make a name for herself in New York but later becomes increasingly depressed and moves back to Boston. As her mental state spirals, she afterwards makes several attempts to take her own life, including swallowing a lot of sleeping pills.

After the competition yesterday, Idol "Gives Back" its 6 contestants for next week round. Nobody was going home during the charity week. Seemingly announcing the result Ryan Seacrest who was accompanied by Kelly Clarkson and Celine Dion said, "All your favorites are still in the competition. How could we let anyone go on a charity night?"

This week, the Fox production switched its regular contest program to a fundraising night whereby huge stars were hand in hand to help raise the number of votes. For each vote coming in last night, a dollar will go to poor and starving children in States and Africa.

Aniston, if Usmagazine.com is to be believed, is expected to appear in ads for SmartWater, an "electrolyte enhanced" drink with the slogan "water that's the envy of all water."

After Russell Simmons claims the need to clean the rap lyrics from words like "b***h", "ho" and "n****r", Oprah Winfrey mentioned the name Snoop Dogg in relation to this matter. Snoop returns the 'favor' by offering a debate on her show.

Oprah recently discussed the influence of lyrics in rap music towards children in her show. She happened to point that Snoop is one of the artists using racist and sexist lyrical content in their album. "I'm a fan of Oprah. I feel like whatever they're saying about me, negative or positive, I appreciate it," Snoop said in response. "I'm Snoop Dogg - you can't (badmouth) me because I do so much right and I'm the person who represents me the best."

Earning the No. 1 spot on the annual list, it's her forth time on the list, while her first ever to be the magazine's covergirl which issue hit newsstand Friday April 27th.
