Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" Goes to Various Vibe

British new sensation Amy Winehouse has inspired many musicians to remix her hit "Rehab". If the single originally flows in jazz and funk vibe, it now can be heard in upbeat tempo up to mod.

Desert Eagle remixed the song into uptempo, shuffling and funky tune while English electro band Hot Chip brings it to the mod, pianoless and cut down mood. Songwriter and record producer Steve Mac has turned it into such songs that will become the anthem for clubs. Another version of the song was performed at New York's Cielo club by trio JoJo America of the Ones.

Lloyd Starts His Own Production Company

At the age of 21, Lloyd has taken a huge step to expand his territory. The singer starts his own production company named "Young Goldie Production" where he will sit at the position of Executive Producer.

Backed up by Sho Nuff Records' founder Henry Lee and Jazze Pha, Lloyd started this company for one reason, buttering new artists' path to get signed by a label. "It took a long time, so I figured with this company I can introduce new talent out there as well as bring a few of my friends into the game, who to me has what it takes to make it big in the music industry," he said. "I want to be their stepping stone, therefore giving everyone a fair chance to make a name for themselves in this business."

Ted Danson Spends Great Sum of "Money"

Still opts to linger in comedy genre after "Nobel Son", Ted Danson has signed on to take starring part in comedic caper "Mad Money", a remake of British TV-movie "Hot Money" produced by Big City Pictures, Lightspeed Media, and Swingin' Productions LLC for Millennium Films to distribute.

Toplined by Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah, and Katie Holmes, the movie is set in Kansas City, Missouri and revolves around three co-workers who form a plan steal money that is about to be destroyed at the Federal Reserve Bank. Other names already submitted into the cast include Roger Cross, Stephen Root, Adam Rothenberg, J.C. MacKenzie, Chris McDonald, and Finesse Mitchell.

Lawrence Kasdan Witnesses "Clash of the Titans"

Making another change on the script of its mythology-based project "Clash of the Titans", Warner Bros. Pictures this time is tapping Lawrence Kasdan to carry out the duty, The Hollywood Reported has revealed.

A three-time Oscar nominee in writing category, Kasdan is replacing "Killing on Carnival Row" scribe Travis Beacham who previously got hired by Warner to pen a draft for the movie. Beacham himself at that time was appointed to take over the role from John Glenn and Travis Adam Wright, whom the company first gave the assignment back in 2002.

Lady Sovereign Exhausted, Cancelled Dates

Lady Sovereign can't proceed to promote her album "Public Warning" in the rest of her UK tour dates due to exhaustion. She unfortunately is forced to cancel the rest of her UK dates for the sake of her health.

Prior this cancellation, the 21 years old rapper was already ill and postponed her concerts in Birmingham and Glasgow. It turned out that the illness was more than she can bear, proven by her website that said her condition had deteriorated after performance in Leeds on April 12. The remaining dates in London, Bristol, Norwich and Manchester have all been eliminated from her schedule.

Raja Gosnell Crossing Over the "Border"

Just reported to have taken the director's seat for "The Book Club" last month, Los Angeles-born filmmaker Raja Gosnell has tirelessly added one more directing stint into his list. The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the man is coming onboard to assume helming duties on "South of the Border", a new comedy feature of a Walt Disney Pictures production.

Intended to be a live-action movie in which the animals will talk, the picture will follow the adventures of Chloe, a pampered Beverly Hills Chihuahua accustomed to riding in a purse. On a vacation in Mexico, however, she gets lost and so, has to rely on her friends in order to get back home.

Adam Levine to Leave Maroon 5?

Adam Levine of Maroon 5 has indicated an early retirement from his role as the band's frontman. The reason behind this is because he wants to explore other fields beside his band.

Levine said that he does not necessarily leave music industry, but part of his plan will not consist of Maroon 5. "I'll go off and do my thing, whether it's producing or writing or having a solo record," he said in an interview.

"Edward Norton is a rare talent and one of the most versatile actors in the business," Marvel Studios' production president Kevin Feige said in a statement. Depicting the road trip commenced by a dysfunctional family to a child beauty pageant, the flick delightfully was named the Outstanding Film-Wide Release by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation as it presented its 2007 GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday night, April 14.

Successfully beating off other four contenders of "The Night Listener", "Running with Scissors", "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby", and "V for Vendetta", the dramatic comedy has already collected a number of prestigious film honors this year, notably two Oscars for best original screenplay and supporting actor for Alan Arkin. Collecting a satisfying number of $22.2 million worth of ticket sales, the teen-oriented flick thereby ends the two-week reign of "Blades of Glory", pushing it to the second rank after the skating comedy turns out to fare lesser at $13.8 million. Also has to go one notch below is Disney's CG-animated adventure "Meet the Robinsons" for its decent effort to add $12.4 million into its pocket.

Among the stars presented with an award at the 18th annual The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against the Defamation (GLAAD) is Jennifer Aniston who was given the Vanguard Award for her efforts to increase visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

Movie actor Jake Gyllenhaal presented the award to the beauty. Meanwhile, former NSYNC member, Lance Bass, was in hand presented the Stephen F. Kolzak Award for Martina Navratilova.

Frontman Alex Turner said that they have started worrying since the beginning of the work, mainly because he feared that the new material would 'shock' their fans who are used to last year's "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I Am Not". He said in a statement, "We were only 18 and 19 when it all happened. We were playing gigs and writing great tunes. Then it got a bit daunting. To do all this new stuff and have people scrutinise you, it's hard. I got frightened by it all and went into my shell a bit."
