No More Storm for Halle Berry

Seems superhero fans have to put down their hopes on seeing Halle Berry back as Storm aka Ororo Munroe in any future "X-Men" spin-offs.

The Oscar-winning actress has slammed reports saying she will reprise the role in a planned new movie revolving around the character, who is depicted to possess the power to control the weather and can fly at high speeds.

Sheryl Crow's "Fight Global Warming" Tour

Global warming has been Sheryl Crow's center of attention lately. The blues singer will tour around universities promoting the fight against global warming which is dubbed "Virtual March".

The trek will begin April 9 at Southern Methodist University Dallas, Texas and continue to stop in 11 other cities before wrapping up in Washington, DC. The 90 minutes session includes presentation from activist Laurie David, An Inconvenient Truth clip, interactions with students plus a short performance by Sheryl.

"The Invasion" May Have Great Change in Content

It's no secret that Warner Bros. Pictures was not quite satisfied with the work of Oliver Hirschbiegel in its sci-fi horror "The Invasion" and ordered re-shoots on the flick that took place sometime between October 2006 and February 2007. What's new now is that the re-shoots surprisingly turn out to have large tendency in change the film far more substantially than everyone has assumed.

Collider.com has provided an interesting tidbit saying Larry and Andy Wachowski, who got assigned to re-write the script, actually re-worked on over 2/3rd of the picture which sure will bring a different look on the project in turn. The site also revealed that both Warner Bros. and producer Joel Silver seemed to be pretty content with the revision the brothers have made, feeling they have a more commercially viable product on their hands.

Peter O'Toole to Decorate "The Christmas Cottage"

Keeps being active in film industry despite his age, veteran actor Peter O'Toole is engaged in final negotiations to have a starring role in Lionsgate Films' drama feature "The Christmas Cottage", The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.

Based on the painting made by Thomas Kinkade, the picture is said to be partly biographical and will follow events that led the Sacramento-born painter to become an accomplished artist. Here O'Toole will assume the role of Glen Weissler, based on one of Kinkade's mentors.

Universal Seeks "Attorneys" Advice

Forging what seems to be a promising pact with Apatow Productions, Universal Pictures is setting up a comedic feature entitled "Attorneys at Raw" at its pit with David Krumholtz to topline.

Based on Krumholtz's pitch, the project is said to revolve around two young attorneys who come to a decision to become rappers instead. Name to direct has not yet been revealed, but it is confirmed that Judd Apatow will serve as the producer.

Fox 2000 and Walden Greet "Doubtful Guest"

Gathering together for one purpose, Fox 2000 and Walden Media are teaming up with Jim Henson Co. to make "The Doubtful Guest", a big screen adaptation of illustrator-writer Edward Gorey's classic tale of the same title which will be released under Fox Walden banner.

Published in 1957, the book concerns a quirky family whose life is turned upside down upon the surprising yet unwelcome arrival of a mysterious, mischievous creature that later brings trouble and wreaks havoc to them. It was one of the early works of Gorey, who passed away in 2000 at age seventy-five.

Tobey Maguire Considers Getting Back for "Spider-Man 4"

Looks like Tobey Maguire has begun to change his mind on the future installment of "Spider-Man" series. Contrary to his previous indication of letting go his superhero role after "Spider-Man 3", the actor now is expressing his interest in continuing to be the web-slinger in "Spider-Man 4", according to Sci-Fi Wire.

"Well, it's possible that we make another movie," so the actor said in an interview. "It all depends on if there's a story worth telling. I feel very proud of the three movies that we've made. I feel like the stories all deserve to be told, and, you know, if they come up with a good movie, and the whole team wants to get back together, and we feel like we can make a good movie that's worth making, then I'm up for it."

Lil' Kim Pens Non-Autiobiographical Book

She learns one or two lessons from being in jail, maybe. Lil' Kim who's been released from prison in September 2006, makes good with her freedom, giving hand at writing book.

The rapper is writing a book, titled "The Price of Loyalty," which is to be released later this year by publishing giant St. Martin's Press. Confirming on that report, Kim's spokesperson Tracy Nguyen claims the book is not an autobiography.

The not-so-famous celebrity mother Tori Spelling graces the cover of the new issue of US Weekly. In an interview with the publication, the actress spills the bean on giving birth to son, Liam Aaron McDermott, with hubby Dean McDermott.

Inside the magazine Tori says Liam's arrival into the world didn't come easy as her water broke 15 days ahead of schedule and doctors had to induce labor, which lasted 17 hours. That's not all, as at one point Liam's heartbeat started dropping, thus forced her to have a caesarean section.

Wilco's Newly Announced Gigs

Prior Jeff Tweedy's solo gig in Chicago, IL on April 6, he will tour with his band Wilco in Australia, Europe and North America. The two different sets of tour to support "Sky Blue Sky" have kept the band's schedule packed up to July 20.

First kicking off for Australian tour, Wilco will embark from Brisbane on April 16 and proceed with two nights shows at Melbourne's Palais Theatre and Sydney's Enmore Theatre before wrapping up in Perth on April 22. All along these dates, Glenn Richards of Australian rock band Augie March will come in support.

Delightful news has come out from Dimension Films' pit concerning "Grindhouse." Sure will bring joy to horror fans all around the States, the studio has announced that the anticipated flick will have exclusive late night engagements one day before its official opening date on April 6, 2007.

The exclusive screenings of the movie, however, will be held in thirteen U.S. cities only as they begin on April 5. Included in the list are Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC.

She wiped her tears during the court proceeding Wednesday April 4th and refused to comment to reporters as she left the courtroom. Whitney Houston has her divorce to hubby Bobby Brown approved by a judge in Orange County, Calif., and will become final by April 24th.

Judge Franz E. Miller, moreover, awarded custody of the couple's 14-year-old daughter, Bobbi Christina Brown, to Houston who testified that she didn't need spousal or child support and that her daughter, Bobbi, couldn't rely on Brown.
