Will Ferrell Agrees on Developing TV Comedy Series

Gary Sanchez Productions, which is Will Ferrell's recently launched production company, has inked deal with US cable network HBO to develop TV comedy series called "P.E.".

It is a single-camera project tells the story of a man who fails to make the grade as a major league baseball pitcher and returns to his hometown in the South to teach physical education in his old school and make amends with all the people he turned his back on.

The has-just comeback pop singer Justin Timberlake is having another duty besides that of promoting his new LP "FutureSex/LoveSounds". The superstar has been booked to host and perform as well at this year MTV Europe Music Awards, which is about to be held November 2nd.

More on the award show, there are numbers of music stars up for its many categories. The first that is very prominent is Red Hot Chili Peppers who vies for the Best Album category for "Stadium Arcadium", Best Group, Rock, and Best Song category as well for their hit "Dani California".

Elizabeth Taylor Signs Auction Deal with Christie's

The auction house Christie's has obtained exclusive rights to handle the future sales of Elizabeth Taylor's jewelry, artwork, memorabilia, clothing and other personal possessions, it was announced Wednesday Sept 20th in New York. The exclusive rights come after both parties agreed on some points and signed deal.

"When the items I've collected are cared for by other people I hope they will be loved and respected in a sharing way," said Taylor. "Eventually, they will be passed on to others ... but not too soon!"

U2 Has Been Busy with Some Side Projects

They've been busy working on their next music album. Amidst their hectic schedules working in the recording studio with well-known producer Rick Rubin, U2 also has some other side projects to complete.

The Irish rock band is working on a coffee table book. The book reportedly will contain old photos and anecdotes from the band's evolution from local punk wannabees to international superstars.

The baby, the first for either one, is due February next year. Paisley made public the good news Tuesday afternoon Sept 19th during a phone call with Country Music Television.

Friday September 15th marked the day when Gwen Stefani presented her spring 2007 L.A.M.B. collection. During that event, the No Doubt singer took time, talking on her next LP, the follow up to her solo debut "Love.Angel.Music.Baby".

Stefani told MTV that she hopes her new album drops before the end of the year. Speaking on the set, she said it is part two of "Love.Angel.Music.Baby" and thus won't much different from it.

A "studio insider" has given information that the company is eyeing Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt to play the lead role replacing Cruise's character and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the "Troy" star on board.

In order to reach the aim, Paramount, as said by the source, is even willing to spent around $40 million in enticing him to join the project. If it turns out to be true, this inevitably will make the actor the highest-paid movie star in history.

It is a mixtape disc that will serve as an introduction to new artists from his Shady Records camp, naming that of Stat Quo, Cashis and Bobby Creekwater. Besides them all, there's also D12 crew, as well as 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Obie Trice and Akon.

More than a week after the mysterious death of his son, Daniel Smith, Anna Nicole Smith could take a sigh, at least for now on, as the forensic pathologist she's hired to perform a second autopsy says the 20-year-old guy's death was not homicide or suicidal.

A second autopsy on Daniel's death body, instead, shows he's been taking medication for depression. "About four to six weeks before he died, Daniel had been prescribed a small dosage of one of the milder antidepressants," Dr. Cyril Wecht, a pathologist and former coroner responsible for the process, told People on Monday. He said Daniel was taking Lexapro, which is used to treat depression and anxiety.

Being highly expected to reprise his roles in two film sequels of "Elf 2" and "Old School Dos", Will Ferrell has given his response concerning the matters to Moviehole yesterday, September 19.

The funnyman has said that he won't return for the former one as he rejected the idea upon being approached by New Line to do the sequel. Since New Line's Toby Emmerich stated before that the company would only ever do the sequel if it were with the actor, the project is positively not happening therefore though it has already been in the works.

The 2nd Divorce of Eminem Is Going to Mediator

There they were in Michigan on Tuesday September 19th, in a private meeting with Macomb County Circuit Judge Antonio Viviano. Unfortunately, the meeting resulted in nothing for Eminem, his estranged wife Kimberly Mathers, and their lawyers failed to agree to terms for the couple's second divorce.

"We didn't settle it", Viviano told reporters after the conference. "So all we did was set it for mediation". On the decision, lawyers for both parties say a start date for the mediation has yet to be set.

This year American Music Awards has been over-flown with many famous music figures. For more than a dozen artists vie for two and even three nominations. Among those lucky nominees, there is Red Hot Chili Peppers who leads the nominees with three, which are for Favorite Artist in the Alternative Music category, and Favorite Band, Duo or Group and Favorite Album for their chart-topping "Stadium Arcadium" in the Pop/Rock field.

Alongside the band, there's also Mariah Carey who is up for Favorite Female Artist in both the Pop/Rock and Soul/Rhythm & Blues categories, as well as Favorite Album in the latter category for "The Emancipation of Mimi". Additionally, Black Eyed Peas and Nickelback also get three nominations each, whereas the likes of Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kanye West, Jamie Foxx, T.I., Rascal Flatts, The Pussycat Dolls, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, earn two nominations each.

Making a turn in his career, "The Office" star John Krasinski is about to have his directorial feature debut in "Brief Interviews with Hideous Men" while also being attached to write the script, Production Weekly has reported.

Based on David Foster Wallace's short story collection of the same title, the project is expected to begin production in November this year for five weeks with taking locations around the Northeast. So far, words on names involved in the cast have not yet come up to the surface.
