Mary J. Blige to Make Cameo on "One Life to Live"

Chart-topper Mary J. Blige has been tapped to make a cameo appearance on ABC's "One Life to Live."

The R&B diva is slated to perform two hits from her latest album, "The Breakthrough," at the club Capricorn in the town of Llanview. The episode is set to air July 28.

The troublesome and drug addict rocker Pete Doherty reveals his plan to unveil intimate journals detailing his rise to fame, battle with heroin and turbulent brief relationship with fashion model Kate Moss.

The diaries of the British native is said to include drawings, photos, poems and film reviews, all of which has been culled from 20 volumes of his personal journals.

All-American Rejects Gets Back on the Touring Road

Maintaining their success for album selling and continuing the tremendous success back in the last spring on Fall Out Boy's Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour, The All-American Rejects poses their latest upcoming "Move Along" tour dates. The dates are not "Dirty Little Secrets" at all.

The Showgirl, Kylie Minogue, Homecoming Tour

Kylie Minogue, the showgirl, is back on track. The pop singer is said to resume her "Australian Showgirl Tour" in November this year, 18 months after her breast cancer diagnosis forced it to be postponed.

"I spent the weekend with Kylie. She's looking great. She's definitely through the worst of everything," Australian concert promoter and long-time friend Michael Gudinski told reporters while adding "Obviously she has still got a few mountains to climb, but we are very confident that the tour will be going ahead in November".

"Tool" Confirmed Their North American Club Tour

The Grammy Award winner for Best Metal Performance, Tool, officially released their "North American Club Tour", started from August 8th in San Diego until August 29th in West Valley City, Utah.

The new tour schedule is a promise they keep for their fans after rapid sold-out tickets back in their tour in May. After being sold-out, leaving huge fans remained out from watching the tour, bassist Justin Chancellor and lead singer Maynard James Keenan promised to pay the disappointment off by returning around North America in late summer. The words are indeed kept.

Jamie Foxx Is A Song Thief?!

A man noticed as Michael A. Johnson has filed a lawsuit against Jamie Foxx, alleging the actor/singer stole one of his songs. In his lawsuit, Johnson claims Foxx's song, "Heaven" off his "Unpredictable" album, is somewhat a rearranged version of his song, "One of God's Angels is AWOL."

The realization first came up as he watched "The Oprah Winfrey Show" upon which Johnson claims "The songs are so similar that if my song was released today people would think I copied Jamie's song." Further Johnson says he copyrighted the song in 2003 and sent out a mass mailing of several of his songs in 2004. Johnson claims J-Records and Sony Records were included in the mailing. Foxx's album, in fact, was released by J-Records in December 2005.

She has transformed from a smashing R&B singer into jazzy songs performer in her upcoming album, "Back to Basics". On the album's single release, Christina stated to MTV that previously "X-Tina" is officially "Baby Jane" from that moment on. She said the name suits perfectly to the jazzy atmosphere she is trying to spread.

The Billboard's Album Chart 10 Best Bows

Rap star Busta Rhymes catapulted onto the top position of the US pop album charts on Wednesday June 21st, 2006 with his first No. 1 release, "The Big Bang". The star's collection, include such hit singles as "I Love My Chick" and "I Love My Bitch", debuted with 209,000 U.S. copies sold for the week ended June 18, according to Nielsen SoundScan. On top of that, "The Big Bang" also shot straight to No. 1 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums tallies.

In the meantime, country trio the Dixie Chicks held steady at No. 2 with their "Taking the Long Way" sold another 130,000 copies, while remained at the top of the country albums chart for a fourth week. As for last week's best-seller, AFI's "Decemberunderground", it slipped two to No. 3 sold 104,000 copies. The other charts holdovers are "High School Musical" soundtrack at No. 4 on sales of 79,000 copies, "One X" by Three Days Grace which sold 78,000 to easily land at No. 5 on the charts.

Angelina Jolie is going to have her current significant other get into business with her former hubby! Brad Pitt's Plan B is having Billy Bob Thornton star another big screen project adapted from a novel, given the title "Peace Like a River".

This movie plan is based on Leif Enger's novel of the same title, telling the story of a family in the 1960s Minnesota, who has to face off against thugs who have taken over their neighborhood. Calgary is chosen as the location for the shoot in this coming autumn. Kathy McWorter writes the script, while Brad Pitt, David Brown and Kit Golden are the producers.

"The Crusaders" Is Lining Up for the Big Screen

A Supreme Court case back in 1954, a lawsuit of Brown vs. Board of Education, is the base for New Line's silver screen project entitled "The Crusaders".

The story tells about a lawsuit aiming to end segregation in schools, which was handled by Jack Greenberg and Thurgood Marshall. Greenberg himself is a recent law school grad, while Marshall, the head of the NAACP's Legal Defense Fund, was eventually the first African-American Supreme Court justice.

Witherspoon Sues Star Magazine Over Pregnancy Report

Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon breaks her silence. She has on Wednesday June 21st, 2006 sued Star magazine over a cover story that claimed she is pregnant with her third child. The article suggested that Witherspoon was unwilling to tell producers of her upcoming films that she was pregnant and was hiding her changing body under 1920s-style swimsuits, baggy clothing and "Empire-waist dresses."

In fact, according to the suit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Witherspoon is not pregnant, "does not have a 'baby bump' and has not otherwise gained weight such that she has had to resort to wearing 'Empire-waist dresses,' 'baggy clothing,' or an 'old-fashioned 1920's bathing suit.'" And based on such fact, the actress alleges Star fabricated the story to boost its "sagging sales."

Fellow Aussie actress Naomi Watts jetted into Sydney early Wednesday June 21st, 2006 for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's wedding, which is widely expected to be held on Sunday in a Catholic Church.

Watts, reportedly, also was expected to attend a bachelorette party for Kidman later Wednesday at the home of Kidman's sister, Antonia Kidman. "I'm very excited for my friend," Watts told reporters after saying she wasn't "at liberty to discuss" any details of the event. She and Kidman met when they were young actresses in Sydney, that's for everybody to know.

Horror Video Games Is the Next Big Screen Project

Following several screenplays on Hollywood's production list, a horror movie under the Mayhem Project is onset to be listed between the striking drama genres. The movie is scheduled to begin production this fall, and will be entitled "Clock Tower".

The script writing will be handled by Jake Wade Wall, who previously wrote another thriller movie, "When a Stranger Calls". Meanwhile, Jorge Olguin bears the director in the credits. Olguin is said to have made a dazzling impression for Mayhem, when he proposed animated storyboards for the movie plan.

Sssstt, listen Britney Spears and Kevin Federline stayed in separate rooms. The pair recently went on vacation in Florida but they reportedly stayed in separate rooms. This, to everyone shock, was a surprise concerning the statement Britney has just made in candid interview with NBC's Matt Lauer, during which she claimed her marriage with Kevin is "awesome".

Spears and K-Fed are said to have spent an amount of $250,000 for a getaway on Aqua Island. Though so, they rarely got together, except for a very public romp on the beach with baby boy Sean Preston. Aside, it is very obvious to everyone that the couple tend to keep a distance from each other. Worse, per In Touch Weekly, Spears is said to have rented two houses so they didn't have to stay together. About this, a source told the magazine "She did it to get away from Kevin".

Hasselhoff to Serve as A Judge on TV Show "America's Got Talent"

The "Baywatch" star David Hasselhoff has been slated to serve as a judge on TV show "America's Got Talent", a new reality show produced by the "American Idol" guru Simon Cowell. Speaking on his being tapped to be involved in the program, the actor says that it was all because Simon Cowell's persuasiveness.

"He called me up and said, 'Would you do this?' And I said, 'I don't want to be a judge!' And he said, 'Come on, it's fun! You're funny!". And "Because it's Simon, I did it."
