May 2006 was a great month for movie mania. Opened up with JJ. Abrams' 'Mission: Impossible 3' then continued with ship sank movie 'Poseidon', Dan Brown's novel-based movie 'The Da Vinci Code', the last week of May is closed with mutant movie 'X-Men: The Last Stand'. As a result of that, most of the new entries to May buzz are movie stars.

Her role as Sophie Neveu in 'The Da Vinci Code' has raised Audrey Tautou to the peak position of Celebrity Buzz May 2006 Edition besides led her to secure the label of new entry to the buzz. Meanwhile, fellow actor Paul Bettany who played the villainous albino Silas has also become another new entry on #44 of this month chart.

They're back. Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, the former celebrity best friends, are back with the fourth season of their famous reality series "The Simple Life". This obviously supplies the answer to people's doubt on their going back to the series concerning their feud.

Kanye West & Ludacris Win Copyright Trial

A New York jury ruled Thursday June 1st, 2006 that Kanye West and Ludacris did not violate another group's copyright when they recorded their 2003 hit single "Stand Up," which was later featured on Ludacris' "Chicken & Beer" album.

Thus, the two top-selling rappers are both cleared from a copyright infringement accusation brought by New Jersey foursome I.O.F., stands for It's Only Family, and production company BMS Entertainment/Heat Music LLC. "I hope the plaintiffs enjoyed their 15 minutes of fame," Ludacris said after the verdict was announced. "This whole experience is proof to me of why I will always fight for what I believe in."

On the same day she gave birth to her biological daughter with boyfriend Brad Pitt, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt that was on Saturday May 27th, 2006, Angelina Jolie had her legal group snatch the domain name, Shilohnouveljoliepitt.com.

The website was registered by the actress' Los Angeles attorney in her name. Jolie has decided that she will secure her daughter Shiloh's Internet domain name in efforts to protect her.

Planning to release the highly anticipated flick "Superman Returns" on June 30, 2006, Warner Bros. has moved up its global release to June 28.

Not without reason but the big step was taken with hopes to give the film a jump on the competition, namely Disney's upcoming sequel, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," which opening on July 7.

U2 to Work on New Album This Summer

Working on social matter approvingly doesn't draw Bono back from music industry. The lead singer of Irish rock band U2 revealed in an interview conducted last week with the U.K's Guardian newspaper that he has been writing a number of songs geared for the next disc.

He said "I've got a lot of songs, oddly enough, from taking piano lessons. My kid's piano teacher, Dawn, has been teaching me the piano. And every time she gives me a lesson, I write a new song. So next week, when (the band and I) meet up, I have all these songs to play for them. So I'd like to thin out my schedule in terms of the politics and activism and just get lost in the music again - that's what I'm really looking forward to for the summer."

The new bassist of music group Arctic Monkeys broke his hand. Fortunately, Nick O'Malley, who is set to replace Andy Nicholson who pulled out of the US tour due to exhaustion, will still play with the band in America.

Explaining on what makes O'Malley broke his hand, fellow The Dodgems bandmate Phil Goodwin said: "As we walking home form the pub, our roadie grabbed [O'Malley] and pulled him over our neighbor's wall. It's quite high and he landed on his right hand. It is his plectrum hand and he has a pot on it - but he says he can still hold a plectrum."

Ledger Won't Replace Crowe in Luhrmann's Untitled Film Epic

Heath Ledger has turned down the chance to replace Russell Crowe in Baz Luhrmann's new $150 million untitled film epic, which reportedly will be set around the Japanese bombing of Darwin, Australia, in 1942.

Concerning that matter, it is said that Crowe, who actually is slated to play Nicole Kidman's lover, has demanded script approval before signing on for the film.
