The Shell Game Developed by Len Wiseman

Wanna see what kind of "Shell Game" Len Wiseman is developing? Watch the upcoming film, an action sci-fi flick which story is set about 50 years in the future, and it's about the illegal selling of immortality on the black market.

About his new project, which he wrote with a couple other writers before 2003's "Underworld," Wiseman hopes to set it up at Lakeshore Entertainment. In addition, he also says "It's set about 50 years in the future, and it's about the illegal selling of immortality on the black market. And it's a really cool character piece, and it's quite an exciting project."

Stephen Sommers Back to the Worlds Collide

Stephen Sommers has been brought back by Paramount Pictures and Steven Spielberg into the remake of "When Worlds Collide." He is set to write and direct the film with Spielberg to produce.

The highly anticipated "When Worlds Collide," which is of action, drama, sci-fi genre, begins when a group of astronomers calculate one planet is on course to pass close enough to the Earth to cause havoc on land and sea while a few days later a second will record a direct hit, they set about building a rocket so a few selected individuals can escape to the first of the unwanted intruders.

Terrence Howard to Deal with the Crusaders

Hollywood actor Terrence Howard reportedly is in talks to play the role of Thurgood Marshall in the upcoming drama genre "The Crusaders."

A feature about the early legal career of the first black Supreme Court justice, the film is the true story of Marshall as seen through the eyes of Jack Greenberg, a dedicated young lawyer who became the only white member of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and who fought side by side with Marshall in the courts to destroy segregation. When he worked for the NAACP, Marshall won 29 of the 32 cases he argued before the Supreme Court.

Rap superstar Eminem has on Tuesday during a radio show revealed that he is back together with ex-wife, Kimberly Mathers, and may remarry. "We have reconciled and are probably going to remarry," Eminem told Detroit radio station WKQI-FM's 'Mojo in the Morning' show.

As everybody has noticed before, Em has gone through an ugly divorce and custody battle over his young daughter with Kimberly. The couple who tied the knot in 1999 finally had their divorce legalized in 2001. Now, as they're about to coming back that's a great news, especially for their daughter.

"The Constant Gardener" star Rachel Weisz is thrilled as she found out that she's three months pregnant. She and her husband, American film director Darren Aronofsky, are said to be expecting the baby next summer.

A source told Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, "She is three months pregnant and is absolutely thrilled. A baby was the one thing she felt had been missing in her life." The baby would become the couple's first child.

Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell and wife Vicky welcomed a son Monday night. Named Christopher Nicholas Cornell, the baby boy was born in Los Angeles at 7:08 p.m., at 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and measuring 21 inches.

Representative for the singer confirmed the birth as saying that both mother and son are doing very well. Anyway, this is the second child for the Vicky who also has a daughter with Cornell named Tony. Whereas, this has become the third for Cornell who has had another daughter, five-year-old Lily, from his previous 12-year marriage to ex-Soundgarden manager, Susan Silver.

Rapper Foxy Brown Almost Completely Deaf

These days are getting worse for rapper Foxy Brown as amidst her struggle to fight prosecutors over their demand she plead guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge she almost completely deaf. "She's pretty much totally deaf now," lawyer Joseph Tacopina said. "She can't hear me. We have to write things back and forth. Anything I have to communicate with her now has to be written. It's dialogue, communication."

Brown actually has revealed her hearing problems back in September, the extent and severity of the loss was previously unknown. The musician, who subsequently had surgery for the ailment, also refused to disclose the potential cause of the hearing loss.

Kid Rock Eyeing a 2006 Live, Studio Albums Release

What's new from music industry is that Kid Rock reportedly is eyeing a February 2006 release date for his upcoming live, studio albums. Apparently, the release of the live disc would coincide with a pair of sold-out Super Bowl weekend shows to be held February 3 and 4 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

In the meantime, Rock along with his Twisted Brown Trucker band also will rock the hometown shows with shows in Uncasville, Conn. (January 20), Verona, N.Y. (January 21), Grand Rapids, Mich. (January 26) and Saginaw, Mich. (January 28). Moreover, as said on his official Web site (http://www.kidrock.com), Rock is planning to ring in 2006 with a DJ set at Las Vegas' Jet Mirage Nightclub.

TrimSpa Sued Over Anna Nicole Smith Intoxicated

Anna Nicole Smith acts up, but this time she's gone too far. As a result of her over acting, Live 8 organizers decided to sue diet supplement company TrimSpa over the model "intoxicated" appearance at the fund raising event in Philadelphia this summer. Furthermore, the diet firm also is claimed to have failed to pay a $320,000 (177,800) promotional fee they promised for four commercial spots during the July 2 telecast in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Smith is said was "intoxicated and scantily clad in revealing attire that was totally inappropriate for a broadcast that would be seen by millions of people in the United States and then rebroadcast throughout the world." So the Live 8 lawyers said. Though, Smith's attorney, Howard Stern, insisted that the actress was not intoxicated and her outfit was approved by the event's organizers. He says "We were aware that it might be perceived as revealing ... I was told that she looked beautiful and not to change a thing."

'Good Luck' to Receive the Stanley Kramer Award

In an announcement outed Monday, the Producers Guild of America revealed their recognition upon "Good Night And Good Luck" which will surely be awarded the 2006 Stanley Kramer Award, which honors movies that shed light on social issues. The drama flick chronicles the real-life conflict between TV news anchorman Edward R. Murrow and Sen. Joseph McCarthy in the 1950s. Murrow and his CBS colleagues used the news as a forum to reveal the senator's scare mongering tactics as he attempted to cleanse the nation of communists.

"There has never been a more appropriate moment to appreciate the legacy of Edward R. Murrow," Bruce Cohen and Stacy Sher, PGA Awards co-chairs commented. Thus, the film's producer and co-writer, Grant Heslov, will accept the prize at the 17th annual PGA Awards, scheduled for Jan. 22 in Los Angeles.

The animation action comedy "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" scored another attainment Monday, leading 15 nominations at the 33rd annual Annie Awards to be presented Feb. 4 next year. The awards, which is presented by the International Animated Film Society, recognize the year's best in animation from film, television, commercials and short subjects.

As of "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit," it collected nominations for Directing, Writing, Storyboarding, Effects, Music, Character Design and Best Animated Feature. Also the film dominated the Voice-Acting category, with its four lead actors Helena Bonham Carter, Ralph Fiennes, Peter Sallis and Nicholas Smith, all earning nods. Other contenders for Best-Animated Feature include "Chicken Little," "Corpse Bride," "Howl's Moving Castle" and "Madagascar."

Eyeing an Easter 2007 release date for their upcoming project "Inkheart," New Line Cinema has tapped Brit director Iain Softley to helm the family fantasy flick. In the meantime, playwright David Lindsay-Abaire already signed on last year to write the big screen adaptation of German author Cornelia Funke's fantasy novel.

Based on the novel with the same name, "Inkheart" revolves around a girl whose father has the power to bring characters from books to life by reading aloud. When a villainous ruler and his band of rogues from a children's fable kidnap the man, his daughter and her friends -- both real and imaginary -- must rescue him.
