Johnny Depp Tapped in Heroin Tale Project

Johnny Depp got caught on heroin tale project as he's been attached to star in the upcoming action drama "Shantaram." Besides starring in, the Hollywood famous actor would also serve as a producer.

The Warner Bros. project is based on the novel by Gregory David Roberts and will be adapted by Oscar-winning writer Eric Roth.

Emily Mortimer & Ryan Reynolds Share Chaos Theory

It is a drama comedy romance about a guy who writes books on organization and how to keep your life organized. He cheats on his wife, she leaves him and then he finds out that the child he had with his wife isn't his. His world starts to unravel. Titled "Chaos Theory," the flick will star Ryan Reynolds, while English actress Emily Mortimer is still in negotiations to star in.

Reynolds will play the main role, while Mortimer is set to play his lover. Will direct the Warner Independent Pictures release is Marcos Siega. Elsewhere, "Chaos Theory" will begin shooting in January in Vancouver.

Rapper DMX Facing Jail Time

Learn from your mistake then you'll be a better person. Keep that in your mind so you won't experience that of DMX's. The rapper, born Earl Simmons, pleaded guilty in December 2004 to reckless endangerment and admitted he was on Valium when he crashed his SUV into a gate at Kennedy Airport in June 2004.

As a result he was then sentenced to a conditional discharge, which means that further violations within a year would send him to stay behind the bar. Didn't act wisely, DMX since then has been booked twice for traffic violations. Try to be honest, on Tuesday he admitted to Judge Dorothy Chin-Brandt that he had committed the two violations while his driver's license was either suspended or revoked.

MTV Films & Paramount Pictures Signed Foxx

Multitalented star Jamie Foxx has inked a deal with MTV Films and Paramount Pictures. The two-year, first-look production deal would have the actor appears in some of the projects. Jaime Rucker King and Marcus King, Foxx's producing partners, also are on board.

Speaking on the deal, MTV Films executive VP David Gale revealed his willingness to make comedies with Foxx, while praised him saying "Jamie is one of the rare actors who can transcend genres."

The Stones to Roll New Album

Even the longest day must have an end, but that doesn't effective for The Rolling Stones who insists to keep producing composition no matter what. The music group announced Tuesday that they would release an album of rare tracks next month in partnership with coffee retailer Starbucks Corp. and their Virgin Records label.

The new set will be named "Rarities 1971-2003" and will be released simultaneously on November 22 in both Starbucks-owned outlets and in traditional music stores across the United States and Canada. Apart, Virgin will be responsible for the foreign release.

Madonna Hung Up on 2 'CSI' Shows

The superstar takes another step, moves further, following the marketing step of her fellow singers, previewing new single "Hung Up" on crossover episodes of CBS' "CSI: Miami" and "CSI: NY" next month. It's Madonna that we're talking about. The song, taken from her latest album "Confessions on a Dance Floor," will be heard during the beginning of "CSI: Miami" on Nov. 7 and two days later on "CSI: NY." As of the album, it is slated for a November 15 release date.

The rumor on the street is that Sadie Frost and her ex-husband Jude Law are getting back together. The couple has had their divorce legalized earlier this year and now as Law has broken up with fiancee Sienna Miller, he would likely to comeback to Frost.

As an insider said "They seem to have come full circle. Sadie has told friends that she still loves Jude and that he still loves her. They have already started behaving like a couple again and the next step could be getting back together. Things used to be so bad that when Jude picked up the children, he and Sadie did not even speak. But now he will often stay for a meal. She says the old spark is back and she certainly seems to have a twinkle in her eye."

Hotel heiress and socialite Paris Hilton has been voted the Celebrity with Biggest Ego in a new poll by Teen People, which has taken stars to task for comments they've made about themselves and their work. The beauty tops the poll mainly for her saying "(By) channeling my inner heiress, I created a new opportunity for young heiresses."

In fact, Paris beats out the like of Kanye West, Usher, and Beyonce Knowles, all of whom are ranked from No. 2 to No. 4 in succession. Other celebs with big egos are Christina Aguilera at 5th, Jack White at 6th, Justin Timberlake at No. 7, and Avril Lavigne at No. 8. Rounding out the poll's Top 10 is R. Kelly at No. 9 and Lindsay Lohan at No. 10.

We have had Elvis Presley Radio and The Rolling Stones Radio. By now musician Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are joining them with their own exclusive channel on Sirius Satellite Radio. Dubbed E Street Radio, this 24/7 station launches Tuesday November 1st, just in time for the 30th anniversary of the album "Born To Run."

The channel, which is a commercial-free, will broadcast music, album discussions, news and interviews, all of which having to do with Springsteen and his longtime bandmates joined together in E Street Band.

That is Top Cow's spiritually themed comic book character, which producers Scott Mitchell Rosenberg and Gale Anne Hurd announced just now to be developed as a feature film. Kevin Taft has been tapped to write the script with comic creator and Top Cow Productions CEO, Marc Silvestri to executive produce.

The story of "Magdalena" concerns a young woman named Patience who discovers she is part of a lineage of female warriors descended from Mary Magdalene. She must save the world from supernatural evil.

Actors in Foodfight!

No, they do not fight for the food. It probably sounds so, but it actually is only a movie title. "Foodfight!" is an action, animation, comedy flick based on a story by Lawrence Kasanoff and Joshua Wexler. Wrote the screenplay is Brent Friedman, Rebecca Swanson and Sean Derek, while Kasanoff himself besides directing also will produce alongside George Johnsen.

"Foodfight!" is set in a supermarket that comes to life after hours. The story begins when the lights are turned off and the doors are locked, chaos reigns supreme for the products in this grocery store. The project is slated for a fall 2006 release date. Cast announced among others are Charlie Sheen, Eva Longoria, Wayne Brady, Chris Kattan and Christopher Lloyd.
