Pavarotti Back to Italy

Pavarotti plans to return home to Italy this weekend and resuming his farewell tour after having a neck surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital on March 9, 2005 to repair two vertebrae. The 69-year-old tenor spokesperson Terri Robson says everything works well as Pavarotti has soon recovered and currently rehearsing with his conductor, Leone Magiera, every day.

Letterman's Defendant Pleads not Guilty

Self-employed painter Kelly Allen Frank accused of conceiving a plot to kidnap David Letterman's son and nanny from their Choteau-area ranch has pleaded not guilty to three charges in state District Court in March 22. Ninth Judicial District Judge Marc Buyske accepted Frank's pleas and set a pre-trial hearing in the courthouse in Choteau in April 5 at 10 a.m.

Flockhart & Star Friends to Host Benefit Show

Calista Flockhart, Teri Hatcher and Julianne Moore are so generous that they team up to host a special comedy night to benefit those suffered from tuberous sclerosis, an inherited disorder of the skin and nervous system, that will take place in Hollywood on April 3 this year. The show dubbed "Comedy For A Cure" will benefit the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, whose honorary committee includes Annette Bening, Christie Brinkley, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jennifer Beals.

Affleck to the Director's Chair

Has faced the ups and downs of film production, J.Lo ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck has signed up to direct a movie for The Walt Disney Co.'s Touchstone Pictures entitled "Gone, Baby, Gone," which is expected to begin shooting this fall in London. The film is adapted from writer Dennis Lehane's novel of the same name, tells of two working class private detectives in Boston, Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro, who are hired to search for a missing child.

Tracey Gold Gets Probation

Actress Tracey Gold has to pay costly on her 2004 felony DUI charges due to a scary car accident she caused, because of which her husband Roby Marshall and their two sons were injured in the September 3 wreck when she drove the family SUV. By Means of which she has been put to 3 years probation, given 30 days of county work release, ordered to perform 240 hours of community service and had her license suspended for a year.

Gunfire at Nas Monday Night Show

Rapper Nas Monday night show at London's Brixton Academy came to a mid-set halt after two shots were fired. Nobody was harmed by the shots, yet London's Evening Standard reported that several people were hurt in the panic to exit the hall.
