Payne and Oh to Divorce

Director Alexander Payne and actress Sandra Oh have announced their planned divorce, end their two year marriage over the weekend. However, they will still be friends and work partner concerning their work together on "Sideways."

Burglars Broke Into Cattrall's London Home

Kim Cattrall was so furious of the burglars tried to raid her $3.8 million Chelsea apartment in London she shares with close friend Jennifer Gelfer. She was very shock of that incident happened on March 12, 2005 that she once "considered checking into a hotel but eventually decided to stay on," a source tells.

Such thing would of course not decrease her fear about London and she was pleased that she was at the show when it happened.

Ali to Receive a Prestigious German Prize

The legendary boxer Muhammad Ali will follow famous Mikhail Gorbachev, Simon Wiesenthal and Yehudi Menuhin, to receive the next prestigious German prize on December 17, 2005 for his commitment to the U.S. civil rights movement and his work as a U.N. peace ambassador. German Society for the United Nations praises Ali for his unable to be halt commitment to the society despite the Parkinson he suffered from.

Bono Unveils "Edun" Clothing Line

Bono's expanded mission to create a brand that produces desirable and wearable clothing as well as providing sustainable employment and stable commercial relationships in developing areas of the world has been fulfilled by the launching of his new fashion brand Edun, which is nude spelled backward. Edun's collection is co-designed by Bono's wife, Ali Hewson, and Rogan, an established designer with his own clothing line that emphasizes organic fabrics and ethical guidelines.

Meanwhile, the garments of Edun will be designed after the capabilities of the factories in Lima, Peru, and Monastir, Tunisia, have been assessed. For the fall collection, production will be spread out to Lesotho, South Africa, and Tanzania in East Africa, Rogan explained. Above all, Bono hopes "Edun could carry the story of the people who make our clothes around with us."

The Now Smuggler Swank

The "Million Dollar Baby" star Hilary Swank is facing serious allegations for trying to smuggle an illegal substances, an apple and orange, into Kiwi country, New Zealand, which local officers found to "suspiciously be concealed" among her soiled panties, well used thong and brassiere in her luggage. Denied the allegation, Swank responded the fruits allegedly found in her bra as something natural.

Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry spokesman William Minchin reported that the star X-ray has also clearly showed undigested pasta, seafood, vegetable and partially digested bubble gum, all of which are banned substances in New Zealand. Because of that, Swank was fined $150 for the undeclared fruit and ordered to stay away from fruit for 6 months, including bananas, which the officers suspected a freind of her had hidden in his underwear.

Electra Sets The Bombshells Dance Group

Inspired by her husband Dave Navarro performance in Jane's Addiction that reminds her to time in burlesque troupe The Pussycat Dolls, Carmen Electra sets up her own dance group named The Bombshells. "It's a small group with my friends, very underground and be the same kind of thing but less burlesque, the star explains.

To begin her dance group career, Carmen and The Bombshells will perform along with Dave and his other band Camp Freddie on a charity for the tsunami victims.

Paul Newman Retires from Acting

The legendary Hollywood star Paul Newman has recently announced his plan to retire from film business after starring in one final movie, which he promises the movie goers will be another big screen appearance "for good luck". Moreover, the old hand also utters his willingness to quit his motor racing hobby, all of which he does just to relax at home with his wife of 47 years, Joanne Woodward.

According to Newman, Joanne will also end her job as the artistic director of the Westport Country Playhouse, a theatre near their Connecticut home, this year and if it is so they will be together, "spend some time just horsing around." About his last film preceding his retirement Newman indicates it will be a big screen reunion with his "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" co-star Robert Redford. Well, good luck anyway.

Coldplay is Back !!!

Coldplay is now come back to the stage after having more than a year hiatus, performing at the Troubadour in West Hollywood on Friday March 11, 2005 before they on the next day headlining influential public radio station KCRW-FM's annual A Sounds Eclectic Evening concert.

Stumbled through the opening of "Politik" during the encore of the KCRW show, Martin then made it up by treating fans to five new tracks from X&Y, due June 7, 2005 and six old favorite songs.

Nelly's Success Concert Despite the Boycott

Though being protested by local ministers, still Nelly's concert held on Saturday March 12, 2005 at Arkansas State University was very success. The concert took place at the Convocation Center was firstly opposed by 20 local ministers who threated to boycott it because the rapper song lyrics, which according to them refer to drugs, sex and violence.

Apart from the boycott issue, the concert which was part of Nelly's nationwide tour had, in fact, crowded by nearly 6300 fans.
