My 2 kids 4 and 8 really got into it, I enjoyed it alot. John Fox direction is like those excellent old Disney type stories I enjoyed growing up. Good for kids.

The reviewer above must have links to the Director. This film was very poor, in fact a rip off. Suffered most of it this afternoon with my family (mum, dad,7 and 5 year old), and was moved to seek out other reviews. The misleading review above is the exception. 2 Directors, and 4 screenwriters explains a lot. No story line, noisy voices, almost shouting. The script was pitched at a level one would expect from a young teenage screenwriter, about to scrape a D pass in basic english, bit by disjointed bit adding to the scrambled, irritating plotless plot. Should have ignored the posters plastered all over the local public transport. The producers knew this one was a dud, but continued to con us public. Give the rip off Reef a miss. Go see Arthur and the Invisibles.

These Disney Movies are always pretty good, this one is a better story I think than most of the pixar stuff. My kids liked it better than another movie from Disney we say the same day, Surf"s Up. I would say its a good story with a good moral theme for the family. Very colorful. Thank You Doggie Boy
