Rapper Yung Berg Arrested on Gun and Marijuana Charges
August 11, 2008 11:08:31Yung Berg was arrested early Saturday morning, August 9 in New York City on gun and marijuana charges. His arrest was first reported by Urban411.com but the site had no details on the encounter.
TMZ, elsewhere, reported on its site that Berg's arrest occurred after a limousine driver filed a complaint with police claiming he got into a dispute with Yung Berg and his entourage of four people. Following an investigation, police then arrested Berg and his companions and charged them all with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana and menacing.

The new clip, which was directed by renown director Dale "Rage" Resteghini, is being made to accompany his new single "The Business". Besides Berg's appearance, the clip also features new R 'n' B artist Casha.
The clip is not the first music video that Berg has outed this year as previously the rapper has already premiered, "What It Do", "Do That There" and "Show Off/ That's Right". All those tracks are also being included on Berg's upcoming debut LP "Look What You Made Me", which will be released on August 12.

The song itself, which also features K Smith, is set to be one of the songs to be included on his upcoming album "Look What You Made Me" which will be released this summer. Other tracks that Yung has already confirmed to be featured on the new album are "Sexy Can I" and "Do That There".

Berg has recently premiered a video for "Do That There" and he is now releasing another for his single "What It Do" featuring J.F.K..
Like "Do That", "What It" is also slated to be included in his upcoming album, "Look What You Made Me" along with another track called "One Night". The set is expected to be released on July 1, featuring guest appearances by Twista, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Eve, Shawnna, Rich Boy, Jim Jones and DMX.

Berg, who is also known as the featured singer in Ray J's hit single "Sexy Can I" has in 2007 released an EP titled "Almost Famous" that peaked at #32 on Billboard Hot 200. The 21-year-old is signed to Koch Records and has collaborated with stars like Rich Boy, Eve, Twista and DMX.

Newly emerging artist Yung Berg is giving an extra treat for the remix his smash hit "Sexy Lady". The single that has peaked at #7 on Billboard's Hot Rap Tracks chart, will have its music video shot.
The song that originally only features Berg and Junior, now is remixed with the addition of Jim Jones, Rich Boy and DJ Khaled. "For no one to know me and have my video do well on '106 & Park,' that's a great look," Berg told Billboard.com. "Now with dudes like Rick Ross on the remix, I'm going to have that street credibility."

Yung Berg, a new rapper with big promise has emerged in music industry with debut album "Look What You Made Me". The Chicago native is to release the album in August but he will give an early treat of it through "Almost Famous (The Sexy Lady EP)".
The EP that contains 6 songs has "Sexy Lady" featuring Junior as the main song. There will be other tracks that receive the collaboration from fellow rappers Twista, Jim Jones and Rich Boy. This EP will hit stores July 24 via Epic Records.
