Shawty Lo Releasing Music Video for Single 'Roll the Dice'
March 07, 2009 10:03:36Shawty Lo has debuted a music video in companion of his new song "Roll the Dice". In the Kraze the King of Content-directed video, he is seen lingering in recording booth for the song's recording sessions. The time when he hangs out with some male friends is also included.
"Roll the Dice" is expected to be featured in Shawty's sophomore studio effort "Carlos", which is due to be released in U.S. on May 5. The new track is yet to have its release date. Production as well as songwriting credits for the song also haven't been uncovered.
Shawty Lo Sets Official Release Date for New Album
February 25, 2009 11:02:23Rapper Shawty Lo has announced an official release date for his sophomore studio album, which is titled "Carlos". In a press release dated February 24, it was confirmed that he plans to drop the album in U.S. stores on May 5.
"The whole concept of this album is really an interpretation of how I and a majority of the people around me feel or have felt and the lives we've lived," Shawty Lo explained about the concept behind the upcoming record. "This record is even more personal than 'Units in the City'."
T.I. and Shawty Lo to Face Up at a Concert
May 22, 2008 10:05:35After dissing each other recently through their songs and statements in the media, T.I. and Shawty Lo will now have the chance to meet each other face to face. The two rappers have been invited to hit the stage together at a concert called the "Birthday Bash".
The upcoming gig is being staged by the initiative of a local radio in Atlanta, U.S., Atlanta's Hot 107.9,. The concert will take the Philip's Arena in Atlanta as its venue and will be held on June 14.
