According to Ain't It Cool News, "Valkyrie" actor Matthias Schweighofer has tossed in the names of those two actors into the film's cast ensemble in a recent interview with the German edition of GQ.
Despite the claim that the two have joined the cast, it is still unclear what part each of them will play on the superhero story. Both De Niro and Law have worked together with director Kenneth Branagh previously. De Niro was directed by Branagh in "Frankenstein", while Law teamed up with the helmer for "Sleuth".

CBS guarantess that at least one of the three projects will be produced as a series pilot. The first upcoming project that will be produced soon is a partnership between Tribeca productions and Media Rights Capital. The script writer to build up the story is the Oscar winning writer for "The Departed", William Monahan. It is a debut for Monahan in taking his writing into a television.

The 65-year-old bailed out from the adaptation movie days after he arrives on the set in Massachusetts due to creative differences. On his sudden change of heart, his spokesman explained, "Sometimes things don't work out; it's called creative differences."
In the movie, De Niro has actually been signed to portray CIA officer Darius Jedburgh who is sent to clean up the evidence in the murder of a young woman. Because principal photography has been started since August 18, director Martin Campbell will have to settle with the shooting around De Niro's character until the filmmakers find his replacement.

Getting a new promising film project for his Tribeca Entertainment, veteran actor Robert De Niro is teaming up with producing partner Jane Rosenthal to set up "Chasing the Dragon" which will depict the rise of Chinese leader Mao Zedong and communism in China.
Pic reportedly will be developed at Universal Pictures based on a memoir by Roy Rowan, who is set to be a consultant for the flick, which has already had duo Jon Marans and Yuri Sivo onboard to pen its script with the latter one to also executive produce. It is said that the two are about to weave the story into an epic-sized drama with a love story.
