Video Premiere: Radiohead's 'House of Cards'
July 16, 2008 09:07:15Always advance in being different, Radiohead have premiered via Google a music video that uses no cameras or lights in its production. The new video is made for "House of Cards", one of the tracks found in their latest release, "In Rainbows".
Instead of using cameras and lights, they use lasers as well as computer data that result in 3D images. Since the song is about a man asking a woman to leave her dead marriage, the image created is set in the most blatant mood. "I liked the idea of making a video of human beings and real life and time without using any cameras, just lasers, so there are just mathematical points - and how strangely emotional it ended up being," vocalist Thom Yorke explained on the concept.
Radiohead's Free Tickets Snubbed in France
June 17, 2008 11:06:25Radiohead's eco friendly invitation doesn't get a great welcome in French, despite their attempt on giving free tickets for their recent gig at the Bercy Arena in Paris earlier this week. The band, who promises 50 free tickets to fans that are willing to get it at their label, XL's office by using bicycle, felt devastated in the end as there were about 35 tickets left uncollected.
The rockers who are known for their commitment on environmental care, have actually set to promote their eco-friendly program on their tour. "Radiohead are using their current world tour to highlight their commitment to green issues," said a source to The Sun.
Video Premiere: Radiohead's 'All I Need'

The video is divided by two, one part on the left side shows an American boy going through his daily life with all the facilities and easiness provided. Meanwhile, the right side shows an Asian boy working for hours to provide for himself. The video then delivers a message that "some things cost more than you realise".
