Daft Punk to Have a Cameo in 'Tron Legacy'
October 06, 2009 09:10:57Daft Punk will contribute more than scoring the original music for "Tron Legacy" as their cameo appearance in the movie has been recently revealed. Bringing up the news to the surface was Olivia Wilde, who will be seen as Kevin's loyal confidant named Cora in the "Tron" sequel. To MTV News, she simply said, "They were in the movie."
Although revealing the cameo appearance, the depicter of Thirteen in "House M.D." didn't offer further details, especially on what role the duo known for their robot personas will take on. She did note, however, that Disney plans to feature them in future promotional efforts. She said, "There's some ideas in the works about how to incorporate them into a Comic-Con event."

Comparing her own fame to that of the "Twilight" leading actor, the actress explains, "Robert Pattinson jumped in boiling water and has stayed in it, and hopefully will survive."
She goes on stating, "Whereas I entered the water when it was cold, and it's been slowly heating up - a slooooow boil. Maybe I won't realize when it's getting dangerous." Though so, Olivia insists she doesn't envy the British hunk.

May 14, 2009 09:05:22Maxim magazine's annual Hot 100 list for this year has been unveiled, witnessing actress Olivia Wilde nabbing the No. 1 spot. Currently starring as Remy "Thirteen" Hadley in FOX's "House M.D.", she indeed is recognized for her portrayal of Alex Kelly in TV series "The O.C."
"Olivia Wilde has been the sexiest woman on television since she heated up 'The OC' five years ago," Maxim's new Editor in Chief, Joe Levy, sings his praise for the 25-year-old star. "She's smart, she's beautiful, and she has dual citizenship in the US and Ireland - what more can a man ask for?"

In a poll on Sexiest Women conducted by men's magazine Stuff, the actress is voted the first, besting fellow celebrities Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba who are ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Next on the publication's 100 Sexiest Women list is the soon bride-to-be Eva Longoria who is voted 4th. Former American Idol Katharine McPhee, in the meantime, finishes 5th, just one place ahead of actress-model Sienna Miller who is at No. 6.
