'Marley and Me' Rolled Out Red Carpet for L.A. Premiere
December 12, 2008 03:12:19Mann Village Theater in Los Angeles is once again packed with celebrities, and this time it is for the Los Angeles premiere of "Marley & Me". Taking place on Thursday, December 11 and attended by many A-listers, the special screening event saw one very special guest, the film's very own 'Marley', which name is listed by Wire Image as Clyde.
Joining Clyde at the red carpet were the novel's writer John Grogan, the film's director David Frankel and studio executives, like Hutch Parker, Elizabeth Gabler and Jim Gianopulos. In addition, "Marley & Me" stars, including Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson, Eric Dane and Alan Arkin, were also spotted coming to the special screening event as they posed on the red carpet.
'Fantastic Four 3' Gets Grimmer and Grimmer

Taking his turn to comment on the possibility of "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" sequel being materialized, Michael Chiklis pointed out even further to MTV News suggesting that the movie project may not see the light after all.
"No one's really given it the kibosh to me, but the silence has been deafening. The fact that no one's mentioned it or asked a question says that, more than likely, that's not going to happen," he noted. "I know that both of them were tremendously successful from a box office standpoint, but we've all moved on into other areas and other films."
'Eagle Eye' Throws Red Carpet Premiere in Hollywood

The special screening event was held at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday, September 16 and was made merry with the streaming in of the Tinseltown's A-listers.
The star-studded extravaganza mostly saw the movie's cast ensemble from Michelle Monaghan and Rosario Dawson to Shia LaBeouf, Billy Bob Thornton and Michael Chiklis. Additionally, joining LaBeouf on the red carpet was his "Transformers" co-star Megan Fox. Aside from her, other celebrity guests making special appearance on the red carpet included Kristin Cavallari and Maria Bello.

January 08, 2008 04:01:10The star of Emmy-nominated television series "The Shield", Michael Chiklis, has joined the cast of "Eagle Eye". Hollywood Reporter reported that in the movie produced by DreamWorks, the actor in superhero flick "Fantastic Four" will play the U.S. secretary of defense.
As the latest member to join the cast, it means that the father of two will star alongside Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan, Rosario Dawson and Billy Bob Thornton as well as other cast members. Meanwhile, Chiklis' credits also include "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" and "The Legend of Secret Pass".

Lining up big names in the list, MTV: Music Television has unveiled the early lineup of presenters for its upcoming MTV Movie Awards, set to air live on June 3, 2007 at 8:00pm/7c from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.
For male celebrities, the network has listed diverse names of Samuel L. Jackson, Josh Duhamel, Seth Rogen, Shia LaBeouf, Michael Chiklis, John Travolta, Zac Efron, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Evans, and Ioan Gruffudd. On the other hand, it only submitted three names of Jessica Alba, Amanda Bynes, and Katherine Heigl for the female side so far.

Mandy Moore is lending her celebrity status to raise awareness to women's cancer issues and helps raise money for research. The singer-actress is joining Revlon spokesperson Halle Berry and NBC's "Today" co-host Meredith Vieira to host this year's Entertainment Industry Foundation's Revlon Run/Walk for Women event.
The celebration, which is the 10th, is scheduled to take place in the Big Apple on May 5th later this year.

Straying into the big screen, "Entertainment Tonight" correspondent Vanessa Minnillo has signed on to have a starring role in "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer", the follow up of last year's hit movie "Fantastic Four."
Lining up with the new cast members such as Beau Garrett and Andre Braugher apart from the original one containing Michael Chiklis, Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, and Chris Evans, Minnillo will portray the love interest of the Human Torch, played by Evans. However, it's still unclear whether the role filled by the beauty is the same one Garrett was linked to earlier this month.

Jessica Alba has, in recent talk with newspaper USA Today, revealed details on the upcoming "Fantastic Four 2". The actress says "We start Fantastic Four 2 in August. The four of us learn that there are other people out there with superpowers, and the Silver Surfer appears as a villain/hero. And another villain comes in as well".
Also the beauty reveals further "My character, Susan Storm, has another love triangle and may use a power people haven't seen before. She's the most powerful of the four."
