September 09, 2008 09:09:53"The Dark Knight" actor, Michael Caine, has provided a ray of light in the midst of circulating rumors around the next possible foes for Batman and the actors who will play them in the next movie installment of the dark superhero. To MTV's Splash Page, the actor who played Alfred Pennyworth said that the studio have indicated that they want to cast Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as Penguin.
At the 2008 Toronto Film Festival while promoting "Is There Anybody There?", he spoke out about how he learned about what the studio have in mind. "I was with [a Warner Bros.] executive and I said, 'Are we going to make another one?' They said yeah," he tipped off. "I said, 'How the hell are we going to top Heath [Ledger]? And he says 'I'll tell you how you top Heath - Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.' I said, 'S--t, they've done it again!'"

Screened on the same day as "Atonement", thriller mystery "Sleuth" also got its North American premiere held on Monday, September 10, 2007 as part of the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival's Gala Presentation program.
Taking place at Roy Thompson Hall, the premiere was marked with the attendance of the two leading actors Michael Caine and Jude Law as well as that of director Kenneth Branagh.

Kanye West was one lucky winner at the 10th annual GQ Awards held Tuesday night September 4th at Covent Garden's Royal Opera House in London. The rap star was named International Man of the Year, had his award being handed by actress Rosario Dawson.
The GQ Awards, said to "have always been about honoring the most talented British men (and one Woman!) from politics to the press, sport to entertainment," was hosted by renowned music legend Sir Elton John.

Excelling with his movie career, British actor Michael Caine indeed finds the pleasure of music listening. So avid was his knowledge on music that one day during a dinner with Elton John he didn't fail to name each tracks played on the background.
Since then the 74-year-old has been compiling a number of songs that will eventually make "Cained", an album containing tracks like Chicane's 'No Ordinary Morning', Felix Da Housecat's 'Sinnerman' and a song from Nina Simone.

Michael Caine and Demi Moore are set to team up for the forthcoming film "Flawless". The twosome reportedly will star in the Michael Radford's direction, which will be produce by Michael Pierce and Mark Williams.
Based on an actual jewelry heist, the movie has Edward Anderson gives hand at writing the script. Set in 1960s London, "Flawless" follows a janitor (Caine) who dreams of liberating his employers of their inventory. He finds an accomplice in an American executive (Moore) who's stymied by the old boys' network.
Jake Gyllenhaal to Join Batman Sequel?

The flick is set in a near future where mankind has lost the ability to procreate, the world is rocked by the news that the youngest person on earth -- who is 18 years old -- has died. As chaos erupts, a former radical is engaged to be the protector of the most sought after person on the planet -- the last remaining pregnant female.
In "The Children of Men" Caine will play alongside Clive Owen, Julianne Moore and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Whereas, the second one is Disney and Warner Bros.'s "The Prestige," for which he will team up with director Christopher Nolan. In this action drama film Caine will join Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, who both will play rival magicians in turn-of-the-century London who battle each other for trade secrets. The rivalry is so intense that it turns them into murderers. The title refers to the residue left after a magician's successful trick.
