Master P Launches Clothing Line for Plus-Sizes Women

Revealing his intention to venture into business other than music by changing his stage name to P. Miller last month, has announced the launch of a new women and girls clothing line called "Miller Peaches" which is specially dedicated to plus-sizes women. In companion to the line's debut, he also announces a nationwide search for a spokesmodel for the brand.

"Miller Peaches" clothing line specializes in stretch denim for those with curvier physiques. It combines designer style with great value and is targeted at young women from various backgrounds. The line will retail for anywhere between $10 to $20.

Deciding to officially change his stage name to P. Miller as a way to reflect his manhood and mark him venturing into business other than music, is wasting no time to announce his new project. Just days after announcing his name change, he's announcing plans to launch a family-friendly cable network, which is about to be called Better Black Television.

The station is set to start airing in 2009, with no precise date has been mentioned as of press time. Its content, according to reports, will include "drama and comedy series, movies, animation, reality, politics, sports and entertainment news, children's educational and teen programming, as well as 'responsible hip-hop music and videos'".

recently says that he wants to change his stage name to P. Miller. The change happens because he wants to move to a more mature level. During an interview, he says, "I am changing my name because Master P is who I used to be, I call it my childhood and P. Miller marks my manhood."

Beside to reflect his maturity, he also wants to move away from hip hop stereotype. He says, "Growing up has nothing to do with age. People grow up mentally and spiritually through life experiences, but when you come from hip-hop it is almost impossible to get past the stereo-type it associates you with. I will always love hip-hop; it plays a major role in who I am today."

Rappers Master P and Lil' Romeo to Star in Horror Film

The hip-hop artist and his rapper son are going to team up once again. However, this time the father-and son duo won't be making music together, instead they were reported to be starring opposite each other in a forthcoming horror film "".

According to SOHH.com, 38-year-old P whose real name is Percy Miller has been set to portray the film's villain, while Romeo will be playing TJ, one of the college kids who investigate the pig people myth. On playing for the horror film, the younger Miller commented, "I've never done a horror movie before. It's a different kind of acting and the challenge is really allowing me to take my game to the next level. We're gonna make the audience jump out of their seats with this."

's controversial music video has hit on-line. The rapper showed the clip for 'Gutta Time' feat. Guttar Boyz aka BBlak, Bengi, Playa, C-Los, and Tank Dog, in full version after releasing its trailer back in 2006.

Since it is credited as controversial, a warning has been stated in the beginning of the five minutes clip saying that racial content is not intended and being artistic is the pure purpose of the video. Children are warned not to view the video that may touch adult subjects.

As apparent through his name, is really a master of hip hop. And now he's jumping on the video game bandwagon. Will he be a master in the field too? Time will tell.

The rap mogul is having his Miller Enterprises teaming up with actor and partner Matthew Senreich's Stoopid Monkey Productions as well as Shadow MachineFilms to develop an entertainment industry-themed 3-D video game titled "Play the Industry" that will allow players to climb the ranks of stardom as an athlete, hip-hop artist, or entertainment broker.

Like father like son. and are indeed more than just father and son, they in fact such great business partners. The twosome has teamed up with T-Mobile for the ad campaign to promote the new forthcoming Sidekick LX, a smartphone that has a browser, email/texting and a phone.

"The Sidekick is the most important device for running my ventures," Master P said. "I can't always talk on the phone, but I can shoot off a quick text to close the deal when I need to." Son Romeo, elsewhere, has his own statement on the product he endorsed, saying "Everywhere I go I take my Sidekick with me: school, the movie set, out on the road. Master P Ordered to Perform Community Service

Last year, on January 27 to be exact, and his brother Silkk the Shocker were pulled over by University of California, Los Angeles, police during which officers found a revolver under the driver's seat of the vehicle which was driven by Silkk, and a semiautomatic handgun on the passenger's seat where the rapper was sitting. Stemming from that incident, the siblings were each charged with a felony and faced up to three years in prison.

And in a deal with prosecutors, the rapper has on Monday March 13th, 2006 pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor gun charge and was placed on probation for three years. Moreover, as part of a plea deal with prosecutors to resolve gun charges, Master P was sentenced to 40 hours of community service, while also was fined $700. In the meantime, brother Silkk pleaded no contest to a felony for carrying an unregistered gun and was placed on three years probation, ordered to perform 40 hours of community service and pay a $700 fine.

Superior Court Judge Joseph Biderman said there was enough evidence for and his brother Vyshonn Miller, also a rapper who uses the stage name Silkk Tha Shocker, to stand trial.

Due to such fact, both rappers then were ordered to stand trial on Monday on weapons charges stemming from their arrest last year after police said that during a traffic stop they found a semiautomatic handgun under the seat of Master P, who was the passenger, and a revolver under the seat of his brother, who was driving.

Two months after they were both arrested, rapper Master P and his brother Vyshonn King Miller were charged Monday March 27, 2005 with carrying unregistered loaded guns. Police patrolling the University of California (UCLA), Los Angeles, firstly stopped the car driven by Vyshonn because it did not have license plates.

What they eventually found inside the car was a gun near the driver's seat, and another one under the front passenger seat, where Master P was sitting. A police spokesperson confirmed the siblings were freed on $35,000 bail each and were scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, where both are expected to be arraigned on the felony gun charge.
