Confirmed, Lisa Kudrow to Visit 'Cougar Town'
October 28, 2009 10:10:00"Friends" reunion is not getting in shape but at least two of its stars would appear in a single show in near future. Courteney Cox has confirmed that Lisa Kudrow is in talks to appear on her new sitcom "Cougar Town" which has received a full season order. ABC has confirmed the casting news and Kudrow will shoot next month for an episode airing early 2010.
"If it all works out, she'll play a dermatologist that my character can't stop going to even though the doctor is mean to me," Cox tells TV Guide Magazine. She adds that the writers are not exactly sure whether it's related to Botox but, "whatever it is, she's the best in town at what she does and I become addicted."

Lisa Kudrow, Susan Sarandon and Sarah Jessica Parker are in for a journey into their ancestors' history that may have links to America's very own history.
Viewers will be taken to a celebrity quest in exploring his or her past that will uncover "stories of heroism and tragedy, love and betrayal, secrets and intrigue that lie at the heart of their family history." The celebrities will expose their emotional, personal and even mysterious encounter with their past. Additionally, the show will also expose how the lives of everyone's collective ancestors' have shaped today's world.

Alcon Entertainment's "P.S., I Love You" gets more addition in its cast. Variety has learned that Lisa Kudrow and Jeffrey Dean Morgan have given positive sign to each have a starring role in the project.
Thereby going to team up with Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler in bringing up the feature to the surface, Kudrow will play a best friend of Swank's character, Holly, who has a successful career as a press agent in NYC while Morgan is set to portray an Irish singer whom Holly falls for in Dublin.
William H. Macy and Lisa Kudrow Forming "Deal"

Ready to share scenes together in one screen, William H. Macy and Lisa Kudrow have both signed on to star in a rom-com flick entitled "The Deal (2008)." Set to begin filming this October in Bucharest, Romania, the picture will be directed by Steven Schacter who previously teamed up with Macy on TV-movies of "Door to Door" and "The Wool Cap."
Based on Peter Lefcourt's novel of the same title, "Deal" centers on a movie producer, played by Macy, who attempts to make a big-budget biopic on the life of Benjamin Disraeli with a popular African-American action star attached. However, the production falls into chaos when the actor is abducted, forcing the doomed producer to join forces with a "beleaguered creative head" to "concoct a radical new scheme to make their own picture on their own terms -- a bootleg production that could win them an Oscar -- or a prison term."

Fans of famous TV series "Friends" could expect at least one more episode of it as former cast member Jennifer Aniston said in an interview with the British talk show "Richard and Judy" that she would like to reprise her role as Rachel Green in a reunion show.
Aniston claimed she missed the show at times and would like to revive her role as Rachel for a special, saying in a TV interview that was set to air Monday July 17th on Channel Four "The only thing I can think of doing is maybe for fun doing a Thanksgiving episode. Our Thanksgiving episodes were really fun."

Choosing those for the Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series category, the organization has picked up names like Steve Carell, Tony Shalhoub, and Charlie Sheen in the list besides placing Kiefer Sutherland, Peter Krause, also Denis Leary together to compete for the title of Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series.
In the female's side, Stockard Channing, Debra Messing, and Lisa Kudrow will be up for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series category while Allison Janney, Kyra Sedgwick, plus Geena Davis have been lined up for that in drama series. As for another in miniseries/ TV-movie category, there has popped up notable names of Gillian Anderson, Kathy Bates, Judy Davis, Helen Mirren, and Annette Bening altogether.

Dave Chappelle, Lisa Kudrow, Michael Patrick King and Janeane Garofalo have all been tapped to join the lineup of the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival which will be held March 8-12 in Aspen, Colo.
In additional announcement, the event organizers also confirmed Monday that the annual Freedom of Speech Award will be given to Russell Simmons and Def Comedy Jam.
