'Sex and the City 2' to Be Shorter Than the First One

In a recent interview with MTV, one of the romantic comedy stars, Kristin Davis, gave clues on the runtime of "Sex and the City 2" in addition to some other details.
Asked whether the second movie adaptation of the popular HBO series will be as "big" as the first movie in term of length, the Charlotte York depicter said, "Oh no. This one is not going to be that long. It's like condensed soup." When MTV reporter Josh Horowitz questioned if "every minute will be meaty", she responded, "Yes! And different, and adventure and rich, and like, there's music involved."

On Tuesday, September 8, the 44-year-old actress who takes on the role of conservative and traditional Charlotte was captured on camera with her co-stars, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall, on the New York set of "Sex and the City 2".
The joining of Davis came exactly a week after SJP was first spotted filming for this sequel in New York City last Tuesday, September 1. At the time, SJP was captured at the Upper East Side as Carrie Bradshaw in a white Halston dress and sky high gold Christian Louboutin heels with a Chanel clutch on her hand. On the same day, she was spotted joined by Chris Noth. Meanwhile, both Cattrall and Nixon were seen on the Big Apple set Thursday, September 3.

In the latest report related to the much anticipated sequel to "Sex and the City", New Line Cinema spokeswoman Candice McDonough confirmed to the Associated Press that the four main actresses, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, will indeed reunite for another feature film installment of the popular HBO's TV series.
In addition to the return of the "Sex and the City" stars, AP also announced that writer-director Michael Patrick King has also signed a contract to pen the script for the sequel.
