Kelly Rutherford Gives Birth to Second Child
June 10, 2009 11:06:50"Gossip Girl" star Kelly Rutherford has given birth to her second child with estranged husband, German entrepreneur Daniel Giersch. The infant, who is a girl, was born in Los Angeles at 9:20 P.M. Monday, June 8 and weighed in at 8 pounds, 12 ounces. She is named Helena Grace Rutherford Giersch. "Kelly and the baby are doing fine," the actress' representative confirmed in a statement.
Daniel was absent during Helena's birth despite the fact that he said he had a verbal agreement with Kelly that she would notify him via phone or text if she had gone into labor. He was quick to issue an explanation though, stating "Media reports claiming that I neglected to attend my daughter's birth are total lies and fabrication. I was never informed by Kelly about the birth of our daughter, nor was I invited to attend. In fact, I found out about it through Internet reports like everyone else. Although this sickens me, I am of course overjoyed that our baby was born healthy. I would've wanted nothing more than to hold our newborn daughter for a few moments, and I only seek to co-parent both our children responsibly and with love."

January 03, 2009 11:01:28Kelly Rutherford, who is expecting her second child, may soon become single parent for her kids as she has headed up to court room to end her marriage with Daniel Giersch. Citing "irreconcilable differences", she has filed legal papers on December 30 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, TMZ reports.
Kelly Rutherford and Daniel Giersch got married in August 2006. She gave birth to their first child, a boy named Hermes Gustaf Daniel Giersch on October 18, 2006 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Stars Saying Yes and No to 'Melrose Place' Spin-Off
October 31, 2008 03:10:03While the spin-off to "Melrose Place" is being baked in the oven by The CW, stars of the original series are coming out to give their status of involvement. Jennie Garth says no, Kelly Rutherford leaves a possibility and Lisa Rinna gives a definite yes.
Garth appeared for three episodes on the original show since 'Melrose Place' was introduced with a cross-over story from "Beverly Hills, 90210" involving Kelly Taylor. On the possibility of her, reprising the role, Garth says "No. I...no. I think they should keep it separate. And no, I don't want to do it." Garth made a return to "Beverly Hills, 90210" spin-off titled "90210" this Fall, playing Taylor.
