October 07, 2009 03:10:56Josh Turner takes viewers on a trip through time in a music video for "Why Don't We Just Dance", the first single from his February 9, 2010 release "Haywire". He commented on its storyline, "We actually start in the 1950s and work our way through to the present."
"I thought it was a great concept because it shows that the song has a timeless message," Josh explained more. "Every decade has had its hard times and sometimes it's good for people to step back and say, 'Why Don't We Just Dance?' Let's forget about the bad news and just focus on each other."

A representative for Josh confirms the news to People, detailing the infant was born on Friday, June 26 and is named Colby Lynch Turner. Colby joins the pair's eldest son, Hampton Otis Turner, who was born in October 2006.
"I'm just a proud daddy right now," Josh says in a statement. "Hampton loves being a big brother, and we're just one big happy family," he adds of how Hampton reacts to his new role as a brother.

Confirming the report is his representative who tells People that the couple is expected to welcome the arrival of their upcoming baby this summer.
Aside from the confirmation, Josh's representative doesn't share any other detail to People though. It is also not mentioned if Josh and Jennifer have found out the sex of the baby.

What they may not know is the reason behind his involvement on the movie project.
Sharing his insight about his role in the film, the 2007 Grammy Awards-nominated singer revealed that his part is more like a tribute to the famed-as-spiritual adviser to multiple U.S. presidents evangelist and the prominent gospel singer/songwriter. "It was my way of honoring the legacy of George Beverly Shea and Billy Graham and what they've done in their lives and their careers and the lives they've touched - obviously including mine," he said.

A new row of names has been added to be the presenters of the 2007 CMT's Music Awards. They are Kellie Pickler, Barbara Mandrell, Jason Aldean, Josh Turner, LeAnn Rimes, Taylor Swift and former professional wrestler Steve Austin.
The event that will take place in Nashville on April 16 will allow fans to choose "Flatt Out Fan Favorite" apart from voting the winners for the awards. This newly added program is based on Rascal Flatts song that will also be performed on the show.

Good news apparently comes in twos for Josh Turner. For one thing, the country singer is celebrating the arrival of his first child with wife Jennifer Ford Turner, while at the same time also is cheering his No. 1 hit.
Turner and Jennifer welcomed their first child, a baby boy, last Friday Oct 6th at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. Hampton Otis Turner weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz., the singer's label MCM announced, adding that both mother and child are fine and now at home.

The Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart has a new champion as Carrie Underwood's "Jesus, Take the Wheel" has been replaced by Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton's "When I Get Where I'm Going". This succession marks Paisley's fifth chart topper since "Mud on the Tires" held pole position the week of February 5, 2005. Meanwhile, it's the 25th No. 1 for Parton.
At No. 2 on the chart is Josh Turner's "Your Man", followed closely behind by Underwood's "Jesus, Take the Wheel" at No. 3 and Kenny Chesney's "Living In Fast Forward" at No. 4.
