September 24, 2009 01:09:26Actress Jennifer Jason Leigh and her writer-director husband Noah Baumbach are expecting their first child, National Enquirer reports. While neither of them has addressed the pregnancy news, the tabloid goes on reporting that Jennifer is due to give birth March next year.
"Having children is something they have wanted for some time. They are overjoyed with the news," National Enquirer quotes a source as saying. "Jennifer wanted to play it safe and not tell anyone until she was past the three-month mark. But now that she has reached that stage, she has been telling some of those close to her."

According to Hollywood Reporter, the co-star of Harrison Ford in "Six Days Seven Nights" has agreed to play in the movie replacing its original cast Jennifer Jason Leigh.
The former lover of comedienne Ellen DeGeneres is said to be filling the leading role Leigh left on February 21 for an alleged pregnancy. This latest news was opposite to the earlier story that the studio producing the film has prepared Laura Linney as Leigh's replacer.

According to PageSix.com, the news about the pulling out of the 46-year-old actress has been let out by studio executives at Film Independent's Spirit Awards on Saturday, February 23.
From the conversation, it was hinted that the Golden Globe-winning actress withdrew from the romantic comedy film because she is expecting. Further, the gossip site reported that the actress, who is married to "Margot at the Wedding" director/scribler Noah Baumbach, has officially pulled out on Thursday, February 21.

Film Independent as the organization holding the annual event announced Tuesday morning (Nov. 27) the lineup of nominees for the prizes at West Hollywood's Softel Hotel, represented by Lisa Kudrow and Zach Braff.
Squeaking ahead of the pack, currently-showing "I'm Not There" gloriously nabs four nominations plus the inaugural Robert Altman Award, notably that of Best Feature. To win the top honor, however, pic has to compete against "Juno" and "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" which also receive four nods each apart from other contenders of "A Mighty Heart" and "Paranoid Park."

Great portion of spotlights highlighted the screening for comedy drama "Margot at the Wedding" on Sunday night (Oct 7) at the Frederick P. Rose Hall as the movie's two female leads Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Jason Leigh made their way together to attend the occasion, part of this year's New York Film Festival.
Kidman, as usual, looked elegantly beautiful in a crystal-encrusted ivory gown upon her arrival at the scene with husband Keith Urban, who was clad in striped gray suit. The actress previously came to the city's Lincoln Center to take part at the 40th Anniversary Gala of New Line Cinema, which produced her upcoming vehicle "The Golden Compass."

Jack Black is getting his another film project, for which he would star alongside Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Jason Leigh. It's Noah Baumbach's untitled film for John Lesher's Paramount Classics which Scott Rudin about to produce.
Shooting on the film is scheduled to begin April 2 on Long Island. As of Black, he is slated to portray the husband of a young woman who is visited at her upstate home by her sister and 12-year-old nephew.
