Amy Ryan and Greg Kinnear Join Matt Damon in 'Emerald City'
January 11, 2008 10:01:56Additional cast members of "Imperial Life in the Emerald City" have been announced. Variety reported that Amy Ryan and Greg Kinnear have been set by the war drama film's helmer to play alongside its leading actor, Matt Damon.
In the Universal Pictures' project, Ryan will portray a New York Times foreign correspondent that is sent to Iraq to investigate the U.S. government's WMD claims, while Kinnear is set to play a CIA officer. Simultaneously, Damon is cast as an officer who joins forces with a senior CIA officer to search for evidence of weapons of mass destruction. And, another newly cast member, Antoni Corone, will star as a colonel.

Ready to soar as a great pair onscreen, Greg Kinnear and Lauren Graham have both signed on to topline "Flash of Genius", a collaborative big screen project of Universal Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment based on a New Yorker article by John Seabrook.
In the drama, Kinnear will play an inventor of the intermittent windshield wiper named Robert Kearns who spent most of his life battling the Detroit automakers he charged with stealing his invention. Meanwhile Graham is set to portray his wife, Phyllis Kearns, who witnesses her marriage and family life falling apart because of her husband's obsession with the legal retribution.

The flow of Hollywood names coming for "Baby Mama" still runs smoothly for sure. Following the inclusion of Dax Shepard last month, Greg Kinnear and Maura Tierney have both landed deals to take part in the comedy, set to come out from Universal Pictures' pit.
Toplined by "SNL" veterans Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the flick focuses on a single woman (Fey) whose desire to have a child and keep her career leads her to hire a surrogate (Poehler). Kinnear is billed to portray a proprietor of a local fresh juice shop who becomes close with Fey's character while Tierney will become Fey's confident, conventional sister who supports her choice.

A DreamWorks Pictures production, the picture concerns a dentist who dies briefly during routine dental surgery and gains the ability to see dead people who ask him for help in contacting the living.

Listing up several of Hollywood's notable names, Luscious International Pictures is arranging negotiations with Michael Vartan, Bridget Moynahan, Lance Henriksen, and Greg Kinnear to entice them filling the cast of its new horror flick "Worst Nightmares", Moviehole.net has reported.
While there is no word yet on production date, the feature is said to revolve around a Pulitzer Prize-winning author named Tom Nolan who gets tormented by a series of murderers in which the victims appear to be identical to those from his latest best seller .

This summer of 2006 appears to be the time for some feast of love for Radha Mitchell, Golden Globe winner, Morgan Freeman, and the new daddy Greg Kinnear. They are confirmed to take part in the new drama produced by the Lakeshore Entertainment, "Feast of Love".
The movie itself is another novel-based, this time by Charles Baxter, telling the story of a group of friends in Oregon with their life-lesson journey in love. Kinnear plays as the partner of a tricky real estate agent, played by Mitchell, in their love affair.
All About Fast Food Nation

Based on Eric Schlosser's nonfiction best-seller of the same title, the film is about to be directed by Richard Linklater.
Of thriller genre, "Fast Food Nation" tells the story of an ensemble piece examining the health risks involved in the fast food industry and its environmental and social consequences as well. With its principal photography has just completed, the flick is slated for a 2006 release date.
