"Slumdog Millionaire" wins over "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button", "Frost/Nixon", "The Reader", "Revolutionary Road" while "Mad Men" beats "House M.D.", "Dexter", "In Treatment" and "True Blood".
In the movie category, Danny Boyle's "Slumdog" has dominated the field, sweeping away four prizes, including Best Director and Best Screenplay. Double winners listed are "The Wrestler" and Kate Winslet. Rounding up the wins for each TV network is HBO with 7, NBC with 3 and AMC with 1. "John Adams" in particular earns four, one notch higher than what "30 Rock" gets.

After Gabriel Byrne wins the Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series- Drama category for his role as Paul in "In Treatment", Anna Paquin is selected as the winner for the Actress counterpart, thanks to her performance as Sookie Stackhouse on Vampire drama "True Blood".
Anna who said that sucking blood is "hot" in her acceptance speech, defeats Sally Field, Mariska Hargitay, January Jones and Kyra Sedgwick upon winning. Gabriel meanwhile, kicks out his competition that includes Michael C. Hall, John Hamm, Hugh Laurie and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.
Five Hired to Solve Emotional Arithmetic Problem

This can be one project worth waiting for. An adaptation of the Canadian novelist Matt Cohen's novel, "Emotional Arithmetic", has successfully included five celebrated thespians namely Susan Sarandon, Christopher Plummer, Roy Dupuis, Gabriel Byrne, and Max von Sydow in the cast, Production Weekly has revealed.
Sarandon will portray Melanie Lansing Winters, a woman in her 50's who is the wife of David Winters, played by Plummer, whose compulsive infidelity has cost him a tattered marriage and an embittered son (Dupuis). Meanwhile, Bryne has been billed to assume the role of a British novelist named Christopher Lewis with Von Sydow playing Jakob Bronski, a heroic dissident and veteran of a Soviet psychiatric hospital.
Ed Harris and Gabriel Byrne Dial "One Missed Call"

Two more great stars are enlisted in "One Missed Call" cast. Fangoria has reported that Ed Harris and Gabriel Byrne have reached deals to join the line-up already filled by Edward Burns and Shannyn Sossamon, making the picture a really high-profile project in turn.
Currently filming in Atlanta, the film is an English-language remake of the Japanese supernatural horror hit, "Chakushin ari", which has seen its sequel being released last year. Eric Valette is attached to direct based on the screenplay adapted by Andrew Klavan.
