Oscar-nominated actress Elisabeth Shue feels her life even more complete when she on Sunday June 18th, 2006 gave birth to a baby girl.
Named Agnes Charles Guggenheim, the baby is Shue and husband Davis Guggenheim's third child. The pair has had a son, Miles, 8, and a daughter, Stella, 5.
Virginia Mad About "The Number 23"
January 18, 2006 03:01:04Following Elisabeth Shue stepping down from "The Number 23" due to the fact that she's pregnant, Virginia Madsen is currently in talks to secure her role. If only the deal is reached, the actress will then play the role of Jim Carrey's wife in the psychological thriller from director Joel Schumacher.
New Line Cinema reportedly has previously talked to Aussie actress Nicole Kidman to replace Shue. Unfortunately, a deal was never reached because of scheduling conflicts. Thus, with Madsen concerns to star in, the film will keep its shooting schedule still for Monday Jan 23rd in Los Angeles.
Elisabeth Shue Is Pregnant with Her Third Child
January 16, 2006 11:01:21Rumors on the street mentioned, Elisabeth Shue, the actress well known for her action in "Leaving Las Vegas," is pregnant with her third child. US Weekly also has on Friday January 13th reported on its Web site the same good news, citing her manager, David Seltzer.
The Oscar-nominee actress and her husband Davis Guggenheim have had an 8-year-old son, Miles, and a 4-year-old daughter, Stella. As of the third, details concerning the expected birth date and sex of the new baby were unknown.

"Gracie" Reminds Shue of Death Brother

Thus losing one of them, the eldest one, she feels the great lost. And though it's been long ago, the most painful memories of her came up as she filming her new project "Gracie."
"Gracie" is a drama flick, which Elisabeth produces and is about her own experiences as a teen trying to overcome the death of her brother. Speaking on the film she says "The story is about a girl who was 15 and is a great soccer player but she's never had a place to play. Her oldest brother is the star of the town soccer team and he dies in the beginning of the film." Star in the film among other is Elisabeth's brother Andrew Shue, who portrays the coach of the boy's soccer team.
Shue Sibs Team Up for "Star Search"
April 02, 2005 11:04:32Elisabeth and Andrew Shue team up to conduct a nationwide star search to find an unknown young actress well suited to star as the soccer-playing lead of their upcoming film project "Gracie," which is based on Elisabeth's life. As what Elisabeth told The Associated Press, the inspiration of the film came from what it means to lose somebody you love.
Detailing on it Elisabeth said "In our case, it was once enough time from the devastation of losing our brother had passed. There was a gift he gave us, which was to follow your dreams and not waste time." Thus, the film takes place in New Jersey in the late 1970s will focuse on a girl who competes on an all-boys' soccer team, much as the "Cocktail" star did.
