Love kept Cobain's ashes in a pink bag shaped like a teddy bear, along with a lock of his hair. However, she was devastated to find the bag and thousands of dollars worth of jewelery missing after thieves broke into her home late last month, Britain's News of the World newspaper reported. Clothes were also stolen from her home.

Courtney Love is facing legal suit. The rocker has been sued by a drug rehabilitation center claiming she has repeatedly refused to pay her $181,000 bill for her stay there 1½ years ago.
The lawsuit, filed March 1st in Los Angeles Superior Court on behalf of Beau Monde International, said Love paid $10,000 when she entered Beau Monde in August 2005, but still owes $181,286. Courtney Love has sold 25 per cent of her share of Nirvana's publishing catalogue for more than $50 million. The stake, which she inherited in 1994 after her late husband Kurt Cobain committed suicide, was sold to Larry Mestel of Primary Wave Music Publishing.

Courtney Love Sentenced to 6 Months Jail

Superior Court Judge Rand Rubin said she would be spared jail time because of the headway she made in rehabilitation.
"I'm very pleased with your progress. I think this is an excellent first step on the road to recovery," Rubin told Love after studying a report on her treatment.
