September 12, 2009 11:09:46Cody Linley is getting his own show. The 19-year-old actor who made his fame starring as Miley Stewart's love interest on "Hannah Montana" will star in a new Disney Channel Original Movie called "Starstruck" where he will be required to sing some songs.
Attending D23 Expo on Thursday, September 10, Cody himself spread the news. "Basically, he's into this plain Jane chick he has an adventure with and they have a cool friendship that happens. He starts to realize lots of things about himself and it has a cool message. I've been singing every day. I'm recording six songs for the movie," Cody said.

January 31, 2009 01:01:33In interview with TWIST magazine, Cody Linley reveals that his character Jake Ryan will be back to "Hannah Montana" in the third season. The actor said that he has shot the part while he was working his moves in "Dancing with the Stars". On the unknown episode, Linley said that it will be an "awesome episode" with crazy twist.
Jake Ryan is a famous teen star who goes from friend to boyfriend to friend again for Miley. In the episode "Achy Jakey Heart", Miley reveals her identity as a teen pop star Hannah Montana and on the other hand Jake reveals his true self as Leslie. Due to their popularity, the dates become the object of the media, and they parted when Jake could not live as an ordinary teenager. Jake promised to act like a normal person before starting to go out with her again.

The ABC's hit dancing competition has announced on November 18 that the "Hannah Montana" actor and his professional partner Julianne Hough have failed to get a high total score for their last performance.
After the elimination, Linley expresses his appreciation towards the show and his partner, Hough. He says, "Words can't even explain the true, amazing, growing, learning journey that I've had on this show, I can't show my appreciation any more to Julianne, I just love her so much and this opportunity has been so amazing". He adds, "Just to know that maybe my dancing can inspire someone to be happy or to want to dance or to bring entertainment to one person."

Among those on the list were her singer father Billy Ray Cyrus, best friend Emily Osment, and fellow Disney star Demi Lovato.
Cody Linley, who has boasted on getting her support for his upcoming appearance on the "Dancing with the Stars," was also invited. Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kobe Bryant, and Steve Carell were among the 25 years and over guests. Besides them all, Miley also invited fellow "High School Musical" cast Kaycee Stroh and Matt Prokop, the Los Angeles Times reports.
