No Porn Star Role for Anna Faris

To Moviehole on Thursday, September 18, the actress revealed that she has dropped her involvement in a biopic flick entitled "Inferno". Stating that she will still stick to comedies, she further confessed that the role as iconic porn actress Linda Lovelace is too dramatic and heavy for her at this stage.
Lovelace whose real name is Linda Boreman claimed her fame in the '70s after she starred in 1972 hardcore porn film called "Deep Throat". Later on, she became a spokeswoman for the anti-pornography movement. In 2002, she died from massive trauma and internal injuries she sustained after a car crash in Colorado.

According to a report, in a recent interview about "The House Bunny", the 31-year-old confessed that there is a scene that requires her to expose her naked behind.
Though admitting that she actually had a body-double for the shot, several complicating factors with that body-double compel her to step up to the plate. "It was my first nude scene and it wasn't supposed to be me," explained Faris. "I had a body double and we had some complicating factors with her. It was sort of a last minute thing, where I said, 'I'll just go ahead and do this.'"

Those questioning how Anna Faris will appear as a dumped Playboy bunny in "House Bunny" can get the answer by now as seven pictures from the film set have wonderfully got launched, all showing the actress being shot cutely in pink bikini for a scene on a car.
A production of Columbia Pictures, the comedy follows Faris' character, Shelly, as she gets kicked out of the mansion and has nowhere to go until falling in with the sorority girls from Zeta Tau Zeta. Filming takes place in Los Angeles under the direction of Fred Wolf with Faris also executive producing.

Advancing further in the development process of the project, Happy Madison has picked up Fred Wolf to helm its untitled college campus comedy that Anna Faris is set to topline for Columbia Pictures to distribute.
The one-time SNL writer thereby will direct from the script penned by "Legally Blonde" scribes Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith, who both are also on duty to executive produce alongside Faris. Filming is said to begin late this summer with Heather Parry producing and Sony's Sam Dickerman plus Adam Milano overseeing for the studio.

Filling up bright comedic talents in the cast lineup, Universal Pictures has signed both Dan Fogler and Anna Faris to highlight its dramedy feature "Kids in America (2007)", Variety has revealed.
A collaborative project between Universal and Imagine Entertainment, pic chronicles a night in the lives of recent college grads as they have one last fling before facing the job responsibilities of adulthood. It has already had Topher Grace on board to play one of the grads named Matt Franklin.

It was announced Thursday June 1st, 2006 that actor Jim Carrey and director Spike Lee will both be presented with special prizes during the 2006's MTV Movie Awards, which will air June 8 on MTV from the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, Calif.

Moviegoers will in the near future get treated with the "Smiley Face" of some notable actors who have agreed to star in the forthcoming comedy. Included as the cast among others are Anna Faris, John Krasinski, John Cho, and Jane Lynch.
Gregg Araki is the one slated to direct the movie from a script by first-timer Dylan Haggerty. "Smiley Face" tells the story of Jane who by accident eats her psycho roommate's pot cupcakes. She spends the rest of the day desperately trying to replace the cupcakes, pay the gas bill, get to her audition and accompany her friend to the dentist.
