A publicist has thrown cold water over the rumor that the stars were seen affectionate towards each other at a recent outing.

AceShowbiz - A publicist representing Lucy Liu and Joseph Gordon-Levitt has dismissed reports the two stars are dating. U.S. tabloid In Touch Weekly reported the pair was spotted kissing at New York's Periyali restaurant last week.
A source told the publication, "They were kissing at the table, and she was stroking his arm. The age difference didn't seem to bother Lucy at all. They looked good together - and very comfortable!" But a spokesperson, who represents both Liu, 41, and 29-year-old Gordon-Levitt, has laughed off the claims, telling E! Online the actors are "not romantically involved in the least".
Back in June this year, Liu admitted that she is in the dating scene, saying "He's not in the business at all, I met him through a friend. There was definitely some chemistry, you know. It's the beginning, but it's serious. I love being in love!"
