Netflix has officially confirmed the return of Bloodhounds with a Season 2 premiere date set for April 3, 2026. This announcement came alongside a new teaser and poster.
The returning cast features Woo Do-hwan as Kim Geon-woo and Lee Sang-yi as Hong Woo-jin. Joining them this season is Jung Ji-hoon, also known as Rain, who will portray the new antagonist Baek Jeong. Netflix’s official synopsis outlines the premise for the new season:
The story resumes three years later on a much larger stage, escalating the stakes as the characters enter the ruthless realm of an underground international boxing league. Kim Geon-woo and Hong Woo-jin, seasoned fighters bonded by past battles, return with renewed determination. Having defeated the loan sharks, Geon-woo is more driven than ever to achieve his dream of becoming a boxing champion, with Woo-jin now his coach and chosen family. However, they face a formidable new enemy in Baek Jeong, a fighter who values money and power above all else. Once again, the duo must fight to protect what they cherish most.
Bloodhounds is adapted from the 48-chapter manhwa (webcomic) by Jeong, which was published on Webtoon from 2019 to 2020.
