AceShowbiz - Benny Blanco has revealed his wedding to Selena Gomez faced a last-minute scramble when his bride-to-be lost her handwritten vows. The producer shared the story during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! alongside his friend Dave Burd, also known as Lil Dicky.
Blanco explained that Gomez lost her vows "five days before the wedding for like four days." He eventually found them just before the ceremony. "I didn't look. I closed my eyes and handed them to her. I swear!" Blanco said. He noted the fortunate timing made him look good and that Gomez was crying when he returned them.
The conversation also touched on Burd's role in the wedding. Blanco had invited Dave Burd to officiate, but Gomez asked him to remove parts of his speech because they overlapped with her own vows. "That was the whole opening three minutes of his speech," Blanco recounted.
The couple married on September 27 in California. They have shared select details in the months since, including that their guest list featured Selena Gomez's Only Murders in the Building co-stars and friend Taylor Swift, who gave a speech.
