AceShowbiz - The 2026 Grammy Awards are approaching quickly, set to air on CBS and Paramount+ With Showtime starting at 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, February 1. Below, we present the complete list of nominees announced in November.
Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with an impressive nine nods, aiming to replicate his success from previous years. Close behind are Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff, and producer Cirkut, each with seven nominations. Artists such as Bad Bunny and Sabrina Carpenter follow closely with six nominations, while SZA, Turnstile, and Tyler, the Creator have secured five nods each.
The Recording Academy has been gradually revealing performers in the lead-up to the big event. The lineup features multi-nominees Gaga, Carpenter, and Tyler, alongside Clipse, who are nominated four times this year and will perform with Pharrell Williams, known for his work on Let God Sort Em Out. Expect additional performances from Justin Bieber, who also has four nominations, along with Reba McEntire and Lauryn Hill, who will pay tribute to D’Angelo and Roberta Flack. All nominees for Best New Artist will also take the stage.
Although Kendrick Lamar is not scheduled to perform, he dominated his categories at the 2025 Grammy Awards, winning in every category where his song Not Like Us was nominated. He seeks to achieve consecutive wins in the Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Rap Performance categories, with his tracks Luther nominated for the first two categories and his collaboration with Clipse, Chains & Whips, nominated for the latter. This year also marks Lamar's seventh attempt at winning Album of the Year, a category he has yet to conquer.
Competing against Lamar for Album of the Year are Bad Bunny, Clipse, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, R&B newcomer Leon Thomas, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tyler, the Creator. Notably, none of these nominees have previously won in this category, although all except Leon Thomas and Clipse have been nominated before. Antonoff's seven nominations stem exclusively from his contributions to Carpenter and Lamar.
In the Record and Song of the Year categories, Billie Eilish aims to secure her first Grammy since 2024, attempting to do so with her song Wildflower, which was released this year but originated in 2024. Similarly, Doechii's five-time nominated Anxiety has been a fan favorite since 2019 but received a formal release and a nomination for Best Music Video in March.
Numerous artists will compete across various genre categories, with Turnstile standing out for their nominations in rock, metal, and alternative music for their album Never Enough. A surprising nominee for Best Alternative Music Album is Tyler, the Creator, recognized for his second eligible album of the year, Don’t Tap the Glass. The two-time Best Rap Album winner also boasts three rap nominations linked to Chromakopia.
