"Whew… thank y'all for your birthday wishes," she wrote. "Leading up to my birthday has been incredibly hard as I've been thinking about my mother and missing her more than words can say."
As if the pain of losing her mother wasn't enough, Sullivan also disclosed that she had recently suffered a miscarriage, which further compounded her grief. She poignantly shared, "I realized I woulda been holding my 2-month-old son that I never got to meet. So needless to say, I've been down bad," she said.
