Words on the street are, the lead vocalist of The 1975 is penning a collection of short stories and poems that offer fans a deeply personal look into his personal life and creative journey.

AceShowbiz - Musician Matty Healy, frontman of The 1975, is reportedly set to release a memoir that promises to be anything but ordinary. The book, titled "Words," is expected to weave lyrical poems and short stories in a creative tapestry of his life experiences.

According to an industry source who spoke to The Sun, "Matty is likely to pen lyrical poems and short stories rather than a bog-standard tell-all book - that is fitting with his creative style. But anything he does reveal will be juicy."

The memoir will likely touch upon various pivotal moments in Healy's life, that may or may not include his brief and highly-publicized romance with pop sensation Taylor Swift in 2023.

A source told The Sun that "Matty will never publicly comment on his relationships, but he lets his deepest feelings out in his songs and gets everything off his chest."

Swift's 2024 album "The Tortured Poets Department" is widely believed to feature tracks about her short-lived relationship with Healy. The song "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" is speculated to be a direct reference to Healy, described as a man in a "Jehovah's Witness suit" and "rusting my (Swift's) sparkling summer."

Rumor has it, Healy felt "completely blindsided" by Swift's lyrical jabs.

Despite the allure of discussing past high-profile relationships, Healy has mentioned that he's moved on from writing about his "casual romantic liaisons." During a candid conversation on the "Doomscroll" podcast, he shared, "I became a way more well-known public figure for loads of different reasons. The only reason that I was interested in is kind of like, what I was doing."

Healy continued, "So I think that a lot of artists, they become very interested in their lore, or they become interested in the things that have happened outside of their art that people know about, and they want to address that. And fair enough, do you know what I mean?"

Healy, who has dated other notable figures like FKA Twigs, is now engaged to model Gabbriette as of 2024. The musician said he prefers to draw inspiration from his current experiences rather than dwell on past relationships.

"I would kind of just be lying if I made a record about … I don't know, all the stuff that was said about me or my casual romantic liaisons or whatever it may be that I've kind of become known for, just because I was famous," he explained on the podcast.

As Healy prepares his sixth album with The 1975, fans eagerly anticipate the creative offerings the band will deliver alongside his forthcoming memoir. With its mix of intimate stories and previously untold secrets, "Words" is shaping up to be a compelling read for young audiences and longtime fans alike.
